Context The Internet has opened up many platforms and exciting opportunities, but it has also opened up the opportunity for people to hide behind it. Some humans like to complain and seek fault unnecessarily. Trip advisors is an online platform where people can write reviews on restaurants, hotels etc. this is obviously very beneficial for business when you get a positive review, but due to the fact there is an opportunity for people to hide behind the internet people take advantage of this and showcase just how petty humans can be.

Brief or Tasks Using tripadvisor create a publication that highlights the pettiness of human beings. This should be done in a humorous way that does not reflect the hotel/ restaurant in a bad way. This publication must be entertaining but also act as a promotional piece for what ever trip advisor aspect is chosen be it a hotel, city, restaurant etc. The audience will be people who are interested in dining or city breaks, they will be people who are interested in humour, and who are laid back individuals who can relate to the reviews being petty, and not agree with them for example. The age range will be 18 – 30, male and female.

Preparation/Research suggestions Generate the petty complaints from Trip advisor for whichever aspect/area is chosen. Research into tourist guidebooks for: restaurants, hotels and cities. Research into publication design and editorial design.

Evidence – for this project students should submit On going evidence and documentation of development on the blog. Design boards that collectively show the finished project Printed publication plus promotional material
