Workshop Dynamics
Our workshop will consist of six sessions with one hour and a half of practice, and one hour and a half of theory per class (18 hours total). Each student will enter this practice at their own level of readiness, and the requirement of each asana (posture) will depend on the personal capacities of each participant and their level of commitment to practice. The practice will be calm but sustained and will be accompanied by relaxing music, personalized feedback and the company, support and guidance of an experienced yogi during the process. After our physical practice there will also be a theoretical space to talk about the principles and methodology of yoga, among other topics of interests proposed by the students. During this time we will share a breakfast and tea as we discuss the theory behind our practice. Each student and the teacher will bring a vegetarian snack of their choice which will be shared with the rest of the group.
Who is the workshop designed for?
If you are a beginner or have basic or intermediate knowledge of yoga, this workshop is for you. Yoga at Home is designed for people who want to know if what they do is right and how to create a personal routine to develop it in everyday life and from anywhere.

¿Who is Jagat Kaur? Creator and teacher of ryes
I love life, nature, art, and service to others. When I graduated from high school I decided to study the humanities and later completed a master's degree in English Literature at the University of Salamanca, Spain. Since those days I dedicated myself to travel, taking pictures, teaching, drawing, and living in happiness and gratitude. I have practiced yoga for 14 years, studying and teaching different styles of yoga (Kundalini, Hatha, Power, Integral) in Colombia, Spain, India, and currently in South Korea. I am a teacher by vocation. I was a professor of literature and Spanish language for ten years and this has allowed me to bring my experiences as a teacher into the field of yoga, and to teach it in a personal way, dedicated, full of devotion and love. I am married to a wonderful human being and currently living in South Korea where I continue to practice yoga every day, and teaching the medicine of the soul to others. I seek to share my knowledge with others, to convey happiness and gratitude for life with respect and affection.
respiración y entendimiento del ser - breathing and understanding of being ryes stems from my personal practice over more than 12 years. This is a product of my own discipline and training in various schools and aspects of yoga, in Colombia, Spain and India. After years of studying and practicing yoga, I realized that some people, despite their interest in yoga, were apprehensive of taking the next step for fear of conversion or proselytization - that yoga was a religion. That is why I felt the desire to share my knowledge and passion with others, from an honest and an inclusive position, beyond religions and specific beliefs. ryes started as a small circle of students and gradually expanded to be recognized as a community of people with similar interests who want to share yoga, and through this practice, be happy. ryes is the combination of breathing and healthy exercise, using mental and physical techniques to unite body and mind. These techniques combine harmonious body movements with conscious breathing to stimulate the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, as well as the endocrine system, which is not achieved with simple aerobic exercise.
ryes will bring you physical, spiritual and mental benefits. Some of them are:
• Care of the central nervous system • Stress management and anxiety control • Disease prevention • Power, vitality and energy • Flexibility and strength • Muscle toning • Strengthening inner will and discipline • Good digestion • Massage of internal and external organs through postures and breathing • Increased attention and concentration • Increased self-esteem, self-knowledge • Peaceful and tolerant attitude • Positive reaction to failure • Accepting challenges: difficulties become steps to face life optimistically • Self-care
ryes brings you happiness and tranquility
Thank you for trusting in ryes and for giving yourself this opportunity
