The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basic of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster : First The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service; Second High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society : Third The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business and community life : Fourth The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

สวัสดีมวลมิตรโรแทเรียนที่รักทุกทาน เปนเดือนแรกแหงการกาว เขาสูป “รวมสรางแรงบันดาลใจ” ดั่งที่ทราบกันดีวา การบริการเหนือตน เปนอุดมการณที่เหลาโรแทเรียน ทุกคนไดยึดถือเปนหลักปฏิบัติในการเปนผูบำเพ็ญประโยชนตอชุมชน แตจากที่ผานมานับรอยป เราพบวา สมาชิกโรแทเรียนจำนวนกวา 1.2 ลานคนนั้น ยังเปนเพียงสวนเสี้ยวเล็กๆ เมื่อเทียบกับประชากร ของโลก ดังนั้นในปแหงการ “รวมสรางแรง บันดาลใจ” ผมอยากขอใหทุกทาน ไดคำนึงถึงสิ่งที่พวกเราทุกคนจะทำผานกิจกรรมตางๆที่จะเกิดขึ้น ตลอดหนึ่งปตอจากนี้ วาทุกกิจกรรมจะ สามารถสรางแรงบันดาลใจ ใหผูคนรักและศรัทธาการให จนเกิดเปน แรงบันดาลใจแหงการบำเพ็ญ ประโยชน ไมวาจะเปนในฐานะผูที่จะเขา เปนสมาชิกใหมขององคกร โรตารี หรือเปนผูรวมบำเพ็ญประโยชนใน สถานะอื่นๆที่เหมาะสม ดวยเพราะชุมชนของเราและโลกของเรายังคง ตองการความชวยเหลือ อีกมากมายในหลากหลายพื้นที่ ในปบริหารนี้ผมมีความมุงมั่น มีนโยบาย ตลอดจนเปาหมายของ ภาคที่อยากใหคณะกรรมการภาค และมิตรโรแทเรียนของภาค 3350 ของเราไดมีสวนรวมในการทำเปาหมายตางๆใหบรรลุและเกิดผลสำเร็จ ดังนี้ พัฒนาสมาชิกภาพ - สมาชิกสุทธิ 3350 ทานภายในวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2562 หรือเพิ่มสมาชิกจากปที่ผานมาจำนวน 10% - สโมสรจะตองมีสมาชิกอยางนอย 20 คน ภายในวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2562 - ใหสโมสรเพิ่มสมาชิกสุภาพสตรี สำหรับสโมสรที่มีสมาชิกต่ำกวา 50 ทาน เพิ่ม 1 ทาน และสโมสรที่มีสมาชิกมากกวา 51 ทาน เพิ่ม 2 ทาน - ใหทุกสโมสรสนับสนุน หรือมีสวนรวมในการกอตั้งสโมสรใหม - กอตั้งสโมสรใหม 2 สโมสร

โครงการบริการ - ใหสโมสรทุกสโมสรกอตั้งชุมชนโรตารี (RCC) - ใหสโมสรมีสวนรวมในโครงการการ Global Grant หรือ District Grant อยางนอย 1 โครงการ - ทุกสโมสรดำเนินการโครงการบริการชุมชน หรือบริการอาชีพ หรือ Hands-on projects อยางนอย 1 โครงการ - รายงานชั่วโมงการทำงานอาสาสมัครและเงินบริจาคเขาโครงการ บำเพ็ญประโยชนที่ Rotary Club Central ชนรุนใหม - ใหทุกสโมสรสนับสนุน หรือมีสวนรวมสนับสนุนสโมสรโรตาแรคท อินเตอรแรคท หรือเออรลีแอคท อยางนอย 1 สโมสร - ใหทุกสโมสรสนับสนุนหรือมีสวนรวมสนับสนุน RYLA อยางนอย 1 คน - สนับสนุนหรือเปนเจาภาพดูแลนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนอยางนอย 1 คน - สงเสริมใหอินเตอรแรคท และ/หรือ โรตาแรคท มีสวนรวมในโครงการ บริการ - มีสมาชิกสโมสรอยางนอย 1 คนเปนที่ปรึกษา สโมสรอินเตอรแรคท และ/หรือ สโมสรโรตาแรคท ภาพลักษณสาธารณะ - สงเสริมภาพลักษณสาธารณะของสโมสร และสรางความตระหนัก ในโรตารีของชุมชน และบอกเรื่องราวที่นาสนใจของสโมสรซึ่งทำให เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ดีขึ้น - ปรับปรุงเว็บไซตและบัญชีสื่อทางสังคมของสโมสรใหทันสมัยอยูเสมอ เพื่อเผยแพรขาวโครงการ งานกิจกรรมของสโมสร - ใชตราสัญลักษณของโรตารีในการสื่อสารทุกประเภท เพื่อสรางความ เขมแข็ง ในภาพลักษณของโรตารี

Dear Fellow Rotarians, We are at the first month of the year of “Be the Inspiration.” As you are already aware that Service Above Self, the ideology by which we Rotarians have practiced in doing service projects benefitting our communities have not led to many new members. Over the century that Rotarians have performed service projects, we find that the number of Rotarians who are members of the Rotary Clubs number only around 1.2 million, a very small part of the world community.

So in this year of “Be the Inspiration,” I would ask all of you to think about what activities you will be doing and the projects that will be created which will inspire love and faith in giving, inspire new members and others involved in the project to offer services in the Rotary organization. They can be our co-service providers in any form, because our community and our world need help in many areas. In this Rotary year I have policies and goals that I am determined must be met. I invite my District Committees and fellow Rotarians in District 3350 to join me in meeting these goals, as follows: Membership development: • Net number of members to reach 3350 by 30th June 2019 i.e. increase members by 10% from the previous year • Every club must have a minimum of at least 20 members by 30th June 2019 • Clubs are to increase the number of female members. Clubs numbering less than 50 members to add at least one female member. Clubs with more than 51 members to add at least 2 female members. • Every club should promote or participate in forming new clubs • Form 2 new clubs Service Projects • Every club should have a Rotary Community Corps (RCC) • Every club should have a role in at least one Global Grant or District Grant • Every club should have at least one hands-on project in community service or vocational service • Report on volunteer service hours and amount of money donated to service projects at Rotary Club Central New Generation • Every club should sponsor or be a co-sponsor of at least one Rotaract, Interact or Early Act club • Every club should support at least one participant for RYLA • Every club should be a host for or sponsor at least one Youth Exchange student • Have Interactor and/or Rotaractor join in your service project activities • Have at least one member offer advice to Interact and/or Rotaract club

Public Image • Promote the club’s public image, build awareness of Rotary in your community, tell of interesting developments that leads to improvement in the club • Update the club’s website and social media to promote news of projects and club activities • Use Rotary logo in all media promotion to strengthen the image of Rotary The Rotary Foundation • Club President, Assistant Governor and District Committee team donate 1000 US dollars • Campaign for every member to donate EREY (100USD)

Club Services • Pay RI dues for half-year period for July and January on-time • Pay District dues for District 3350 on-time • Update membership figures in My Rotary not more than 1 month of the change • Club bulletin at least once a month • At least 50% of members have a role in club activities In ending, for a successful Rotary year I ask that all the District Committee team, Club Presidents and fellow Rotarians to join hands in fulfilling all the above goals. I thank you for your mental and physical sacrifices which you offer Rotary in the upcoming 12 months to “Be the Inspiration.”

President, Rotary International, 2018-19

Dear fellow Rotarians, One year ago, your Rotary International Board of Directors adopted a new vision statement, reﬂecting our aspirations for our organization and its future. It reads, “Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.” That simple sentence distills so much of what is essential about Rotary. We unite, because we know that we are far stronger together than we could ever be alone. We take action, because we are not dreamers, but doers. We work to create lasting change that will endure long after our involvement has ended – across the globe and in our communities. And perhaps most important of all, we work to create change in ourselves – not just building a better world around us, but becoming better people ourselves. A quotation attributed to French writer Antoine de SaintExupéry goes: “If you want to build a boat, don’t begin by collecting wood, cutting boards, or assigning tasks. Begin by awakening in the souls of your workers a longing for the vast and boundless sea.” Each of us came to Rotary because we had a longing – to have an impact, to make a difference, to be part of something larger than ourselves. That desire, that vision for a better world and our role in building it, is what drives us in Rotary. It’s what made us become members, it’s what motivates us to serve, and it’s what led me to choose our theme for this Rotary year: Be the Inspiration.

I want to see Rotary Be the Inspiration for our communities by doing work with a transformational impact. It’s time to start moving forward, by removing the barriers that are holding us back. Let’s make it easier to make adjustments in our clubs or start new clubs that suit different needs. Let’s work to strengthen Rotaract and smooth the transition from Rotaract clubs into Rotary. Let’s give all Rotarians the ﬂexibility to serve in the ways that work best for them, so that every Rotarian ﬁnds enduring value in Rotary membership. Truly sustainable service, the kind of service we strive for in Rotary, means looking at everything we do as part of a larger global ecology. This year, I ask all of you to Be the Inspiration for sustainable service by addressing the impact of environmental issues on our work. The environment plays a key role in all six of our areas of focus, and that role is only becoming greater as the impact of climate change unfolds. It’s time to move past seeing the environment as somehow separate from those six areas. Clean air, water, and land are essential for healthy communities – and essential for the better, healthier future we strive for. Be the Inspiration – and together we can, and we will, inspire the world.

About a year and a half after I joined my Rotary club, I terminated my membership because I missed four consecutive meetings. That was the rule at the time. I’ll freely admit – I didn’t care much for the food or the weekly meetings. I didn’t think they were the best use of my time. But the real issue was that I wasn’t engaged. I had no role, I had no reason to be a member, and I didn’t need to go to a luncheon meeting every week that appeared to offer me absolutely nothing. But then my incoming club president asked me to chair the club’s Rotary Foundation committee for the next Rotary year. That was a turning point for me, and the rest is history. I want you all to think about engaging those members who have their doubts about Rotary. In 2018-19, I need your help. I want you to join me in focusing on our four core goals for the Foundation. First, the No. 1 priority of our entire organization (and this won’t be a surprise) is ending polio. We must fulﬁll our promise of apolio-free world to every child. Second, we must increase the sustainability of our service efforts within the six areas of focus. This means conducting thorough needs assessments. It means working with communities to see what they really need and get them to buy in – to own the project and measure it over time. Our third priority is to encourage districts to use all their District Designated Funds. Whether through district grants, global grants, or PolioPlus, there are many ways to form transformative partnerships and put these funds to work. Finally, we choose to build our Rotary Foundation Endowment to $2.025 billion by 2025. Our comprehensive fundraising goal for the year is $380 million. These funds will allow us to continue the life-changing programs that Rotary members undertake every day. But we each need to think about our Rotary legacy. The Endowment is our future. So please join me, and let’s make this a legacy-building year for Rotary. Your legacy, Rotary’s promise.

หลังจากผมเขารวมสโมสรโรตารีของผมไดประมาณปครึ่ง สมาชิกภาพ ของผมก็สิ้นสุดลง เพราะเหตุวาผมขาดประชุมสโมสรสี่ครั้งติดตอกัน เปน กฎระเบียบในสมัยนั้น ผมยอมรับจริงๆ วา ผมไมไดสนใจเรื่องอาหารหรือ การประชุมประจำสัปดาหอะไรมาก ผมไมคิดวาจะเปนการใชเวลาของผม ใหดีที่สุดในเวลานั้น แตวาเรื่องจริงคือ ผมไมไดมีสวนรวมและไมมีบทบาท อะไรในสโมสร ผมจึงไมมีเหตุผลที่จะเปนสมาชิก และไมจำเปนตองไปประชุม เพื่อทานอาหารกลางวันกันทุกสัปดาห ซึ่งดูเหมือนวาผมไมไดอะไรเลย แตเมื่อถึงปโรตารีตอมา นายกสโมสรคนใหมของผม ขอรองใหผมรับ ตำแหนงเปนประธานคณะกรรมการมูลนิธิโรตารีในปโรตารีใหม นั่นคือ จุดเปลี่ยนของผม ตอจากนั้นคือประวัติศาสตร ผมจึงตองการใหทุกทาน คิดถึงความผูกพันกับสมาชิกผูที่อาจจะมีขอสงสัยในโรตารีอยูบาง ในปนี้ (2018-2019) ผมตองการใหทานชวยเหลือผม ผมขอใหทาน รวมมือกับผมโดยมุงเนนที่เปาหมายหลักของมูลนิธิของเรา 4 ขอ ขอแรก คือขอสำคัญที่สุด (เรียงลำดับความสำคัญโดยรวม) ขององคกร ของเรา (ไมควรมีขอสงสัย) คือการขจัดโปลิโอ ซึ่งเราจะตองรักษาคำมั่น สัญญา ของเรา ที่จะมีโลกที่ปลอดโปลิโอสำหรับเด็กทุกคน ขอที่สอง เราจะตองขยายงานบริการบำเพ็ญประโยชนของเราในหัวขอ มุงเนนทั้ง 6 ประการใหมีความยั่งยืนตลอดไป หมายความวาเราจะตองทำ การประเมินผลความตองการใหถี่ถวนกอน จะตองทำงานรวมกับชุมชน เพื่อจะไดมองเห็นความตองการที่แทจริงของเขา และทำใหเขายอมรับ การเปนเจาของโครงการดวยกัน และใหมีการวัดประเมินผลเปนระยะๆ ขอสำคัญลำดับที่สามคือ เชิญชวนภาคทั้งหลายใหใชกองทุนปนสวนภาค (DDF) ทั้งหมด ไมวาจะใชเปนเงินทุนสนับสนุนระดับภาค ทุนสนับสนุน ระดับโลก หรือทุนโปลิโอพลัส มีวิธีการหลายอยางในการเปลี่ยนแปลง พันธมิตรมาเปนหุนสวน เพื่อนำเงินทุนสนับสนุนของภาคเหลานี้ มาใช ในการทำงานตอไป สุดทายนี้ เราไดกำหนดสรางกองทุนถาวรของมูลนิธิโรตารีภายในป 2025 ใหได $2.025 พันลานเหรียญสหรัฐ และเปาหมายการระดมทุน ทั้งสิ้นประจำปนี้ ก็คือ $380 ลานเหรียญสหรัฐ กองทุนเหลานี้จะชวยใหเรา สานตอโปรแกรมเปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตที่สมาชิกโรตารีจัดดำเนินการในทุกวันนี้ แตพวกเราแตละคนจะตองระลึกถึงมรดกของโรตารีดวย และกองทุนถาวร ก็คือ อนาคต (มรดก) ของเรา ดังนั้น โปรดรวมมือกับผม ชวยใหเราสรางปแหงการสรางกองมรดก สำหรับโรตารี มรดกของทานทั้งหลาย คือ คำมั่นสัญญาของโรตารี (อน.พิเชษฐ รุจิรัตน : ผูแปล)

2. RI Dues: Club President and Club Secretary will receive an Invoice from Rotary International. For those who have failed to receive, they can access their club’s invoice through My Rotary from 16 July 2018; and 16 January 2019. They can begin paying RI Dues from the day they receive the Invoice. RI requires that payment be made within 120 days of the date of Invoice. If unpaid beyond this date, the club will be terminated. Re-instatement will require payment of all outstanding dues and payment of ﬁne of 30 US$ per member for every member on the list. Payment for First

Club Services is considered to be the water source of other Services as it is the management of each "home". In this inaugural Governor's Newsletter, we would like to propose a process on the ﬁrst meeting or the auspicious meeting of the club for President and club members for your consideration as follows:

We shall invite the District Director, Chief of Community Development District Section, Community Leaders, School Principals, and Non-Rotary Organizations or Association etc. to join the club meetings. This is to introduce the new club leader and collaborate with those Non-Rotary organizations and also to honor those who are working for the community as same as us. The joint working or integration should be established and continued. 2. Presentation about the club's performance in the immediate passing year. 3. Or presentation of the club plan in this beginning year. 4. There may be a rearrange of the meeting place to be exotic, with new environment to conform to new Club Leader's personality. Backdrop or decoration of the meeting room, ﬂag decoration, changing the logo to the current year which the club president has already received. And maybe the style that convey the look of the new club leader. etc.

District Service Project Committee Chair Fellow Rotarians, The taking ofﬁce of new Club Presidents and Club's Board of Directors has begun since July 1, 2018. I convey my congratulation and encouragement to all Club Presidents and Committee in the club administration, activities and service projects to communities in the year of "Be The Inspiration" under the leadership of District Governor Nakarin Rattanakitsunthorn. Good activities and projects will result in the club becoming known to the community and sustainable. The District Service Project consists of community services, vocational services and international services. In this new year, we continue to adopt the Rotary Community Corps (RCC) policy. We invite all clubs to set up new RCCs or expand their RCCs, as this will help develop communities in all areas of their lives according to Rotary's policy. In terms of career services, we will inspire the community to improve their careers and improve their skills which will possibly lead to reach a reputation for themselves and for the nation ﬁnally. With an initiative idea of DG Nakarin to inspire communities, we will arrange a community cooking contest which is priminarily scheduled on February 23, 2019 which is Rotary's birthday, because the competition will inspire self-development. By this, Vocational Service Subcommittee Chair and his working team are planning work. If it is concrete then the publicity will continue. So let’s wait for the news. For the international services, we would like to invite all clubs to initiate new projects for communities. Please focus on outstanding projects if it is possible which identify the club. Do not worry about funding because this year, the International Service Committee Chair has prepared the funding source from abroad for us to do the projects. Please consult with him. Cheers! มวลมิตรโรแทเรียน ที่รักคะ สวัสดีปโรตารีใหม 2018-2019 ขอแสดงความยินดีกับผูนำทานใหม ขององคกรโรตารีทุกทานคะ เราไดผูวาการภาคคนใหม ไดนายกสโมสร ใหม และประธานบริการตางๆ ก็ผลัดเปลี่ยนหมุนเวียนกันมาทำงาน เราจะรวมกันทำงาน บริการเหนือตน ใหประสบความสำเร็จ มีความสุข ไดมิตรภาพที่ยั่งยืน ดวยกันนะคะ ในโครงการบริการตางๆ ของโรตารี จะเห็นไดวาเรามุงเนนให บริการผูที่ดอยโอกาสทั้งสิ้น ไมวาจะเปนผูดอยโอกาสทางดานการศึกษา ดานเศรษฐกิจ และดานการสาธารณสุข ซึ่งเปนที่มาของปจจัยพื้นฐาน ในการดำรงชีพ ผูดอยโอกาสเหลานี้มีแนวโนมที่จะลดลงนอยมากใน ทั่วโลก ในการศึกษาดานสังคมวิทยา เรียกกลุมคนดอยโอกาสเหลานี้วา ตกอยูในวังวนของความ “โง จน เจ็บ” เพราะความไมมีความรู ไมมีเงิน จึงไมไดรับการรักษาเมื่อเจ็บปวย หรือ “เจ็บ จน โง” เพราะสุขภาพไมดี ไมมีเงินจึงไมไดเรียนหนังสือ ปญหาวนไปวนมา อยูในปจจัยเหลานี้ มวลมิตรโรแทเรียนที่รักคะ ในทัศนคติของดิฉัน เห็นวาปญหาของ ผูดอย โอกาสเหลานี้จะลดลงไดดวย การศึกษา คะ ซึ่งตองเริ่มปลูกฝง ตั้งแตเปน เยาวชน ในนามของประธานบริการเยาวชนภาค 3350 ในปนี้ ดิฉันจึงขอ เชิญชวนมายัง ทานนายกสโมสร และมวลมิตรโรแทเรียนทุกทาน ให ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของเยาวชนใหมากขึ้น โดยการทำโครงการ บริการเพื่อเยาวชนใหมากขึ้น ทานสามารถทำโครงการเพื่อเยาวชน โดยการสงเสริม สนับสนุน โปรแกรมที่องคกรโรตารีไดบรรจุไวแลว คือ เออลีแอคท อินเตอรแรคท โรตาแรคท คายเยาวชนผูนำ และนักเรียน แลกเปลี่ยน นอกจากนี้ ทานยังสามารถทำโครงการตามกำหนด Six Areas of Focus ของโรตารี โดยเนนกลุมเปาหมายไปที่เยาวชนไดทั้ง 6 ขอ ทั้งนี้ เพื่อเตรียมความพรอมใหเยาวชนมีความรูที่ดี เพื่อจะสราง เศรษฐกิจที่ดีใหกับตนเองได และเปนผูที่มีสุขภาพ กาย ใจ ที่แข็งแรง สมบูรณ พรอมที่จะเปน “ผูให” สืบตอกันไปอยางไมสิ้นสุด ขอเรียนเชิญ ทุกทานมาเปนแรงบันดาลใจ และ “รวมสรางแรง บันดาลใจ” ใหเยาวชน ไดเติบใหญ เปนพลเมืองที่มีคุณภาพ ของประเทศ ชาติ และของโลกใบนี้สืบไป

Happy New Rotary Year of 2018-2019, and congratulations to all the new leaders of Rotary. We have new District Governor, new Club Presidents, and also new Service Chairs that are being rotated every year. I am very happy that we are able to work together and strengthen our friendship to accomplish and sustain our “Service Above Self.” In various service projects that Rotary are working on, you can see that it is all for the ones who is disadvantaged in many ways, disadvantaged in education, economy, and public health. These are all the fundamentals for one’s well beings, but the number of those disadvantaged group has small chance of decreasing. In a study of sociology in Thailand, it is being explained that this group of disadvantaged people are in the loop of “Ignorance - Poverty - Sickness”. Because they are lack of knowledge, they could not earn good income, so they could not afford any treatment when they’re ill. Or it can also be “Sickness - Poverty - Ignorance”, because they are not in a good health, with no money, making it impossible for them to get education. These problems keep repeating and continue as a loop, as a vicious circle. My dear Fellow Rotarians, in my perspective, I see that EDUCATION is the key to help those disadvantaged group. Where we start from the YOUTH. As a Youth Service Chair of district 3350, I would like to ask all the Club Presidents and all Fellow Rotarians to think about this issue for a moment, and recognize the importance of our youth. I would like to encourage you to start more projects for the YOUTH. You can also show your support by promoting the existed Rotary’s Program such as ‘Early Act’, ‘Interact’, ‘Rotaract’, ‘RYLA’ and ‘Youth Exchange’. Moreover, you can also start a project according to the Rotary Six Areas of Focus, by focusing on the YOUTH. I strongly believe that this would contribute a lot to the youth, for their better educated environment, better ﬁnancial economy, and better health, physically and mentally. My dear Fellow Rotarians let’s inspire them, and ‘BE THE INSPIRATION’ for these youth, for them to grow with generous hearts, for them to become GOOD CITIZENS , and eventually to become the next GIVERS of the country and the world.

ทานนายกสโมสร และประธานมูลนิธิโรตารีทุกสโมสร ในฐานะที่ทานไดกาวขึ้นสูตำแหนงผูนำสโมสรในปนี้ ผมอยากสนับสนุน ใหทานไดเริ่มวางแผนและดำเนินการจัดโครงการบริการตางๆ เพื่อ “การทำดี ในโลก ของเรา” เพื่อใหเปนไปตามเปาหมายที่วางไว ทานจำเปนตองทำงาน ใกลชิดกับคณะกรรมการฝายอื่นๆ อาทิ บริการสโมสร โครงการบริการชุมชน รอบๆ สโมสร และประธานคณะกรรมการในระดับภาคดวย ที่สำคัญคือการ ทำงานรวมกับ ทานผูวาการภาค นครินทร ซึ่งทานไดตั้งเปาหมายของภาคไวแลว โดยในดานมูลนิธิโรตารีนั้น ทานตั้งเปาหมายในปนี้ ดังนี้ 1. ใหสมาชิกทุกสโมสร บริจาคครบ 100 % แกมูลนิธิโรตารี ขั้นต่ำคนละ 1,000 บาท 2. มียอดบริจาครวมในภาค 3350 จำนวน 800,000 เหรียญ (ประมาณ 25,600,000 บาท) 3. มีมูลคาโครงการทั้งหมดในภาค 8 ลานเหรียญ (ประมาณ 256,000,000 บาท) ในป 2018 -19 ในขณะที่ทุกทานวางแผนและดำเนินโครงการบริการตางๆ นั้น ผมขอ ความรวมมือใหทานใชแนวทาง ดังตอไปนี้ 1. มุงเนนความตองการที่แทจริงของชุมชน 2. ใหสมาชิกทุกคนมีสวนรวมใหมากที่สุด 3. จัดโครงการที่เกี่ยวของกับ 6 เรื่องที่โรตารีใหความสำคัญ (6 Areas of Focus) 4. สรางความรวมมือระหวางสโมสรกับชุมชนใกลเคียง 5. มีการตรวจสอบและดูแลการเงินอยางรอบคอบตลอดโครงการ 6. กอใหเกิดผลกระทบที่ยั่งยืนตอชุมชน 7. สรางความตระหนักและสงเสริมภาพลักษณที่ดีขององคกรโรตาร อันจะนำไปสูการเพิ่มสมาชิกใหสโมสรในอนาคต 8. มีความรับผิดชอบ และมีความโปรงใสในการดำเนินโครงการ ดังที่ทุกทานทราบดี คณะกรรมการมูลนิธิโรตารีภาค 3350 และคณะ กรรมการบริการระหวางประเทศกำลังดำเนินการอยางเขมแข็งในการประสาน งานกับภาคตางๆ ในประเทศเกาหลีใต ญี่ปุน และ ไตหวัน เพื่อจะชวยใหทาน ดำเนินโครงการ Global Grant ไดมากขึ้น กระผมขอความกรุณาใหทานรีบ สำรวจความตองการของชุมชนและสงใบสมัครขอทุนสนับสนุนทาง on-line ใหเสร็จสิ้นภายในกลางเดือนสิงหาคมนี้ หากเปนไปได สำหรับสโมสรที่ตองการสงโครงการเพื่อขอทุนสนับสนุนประเภท District Grant โปรดสงโครงการไปยัง ที่ อน.ดร.สลักจิต นพคุณ (salakjit3350@gmail.com) ภายในสิ้นเดือนกรกฎาคม นี้

District Rotary Foundation Chair Dear Club Presidents & Rotary Foundation Chairs, As you are now the leaders in the year of “Be the Inspiration” for your club, I urge you to start planning and executing your service projects for “Doing Good in the World”. To achieve your goals, you will need to work closely with your other club committees – Club Service, Service Project, your community and the District Chairs. It is also important to work in line with our District Governor Nakarin who already set goals for the District. For Rotary Foundation, he has set the following goals: 1. 100% Club contribution with a minimum of THB 1,000 per Rotarian. 2. Total District contribution of USD 800,000. 3. Total District project value of USD 8 million for RY 2018 – 19. While planning and implementing your service projects, I will appreciate if you can consider the following guidelines: 1. Address the genuine needs of your community. 2. Involve all club members to encourage engagement. 3. Projects to be related to Rotary 6 Areas of Focus. 4. Create partnership between your club and your community. 5. Practice good ﬁnancial stewardship throughout your projects. 6. Create a sustainable impact in your community. 7. Create Rotary Awareness and good Public Image, in order to attract new members to your club. 8. Ensure accountability and transparency of your projects. As you may be aware, both the District Rotary Foundation and International Service committees are working very hard for you to liaise with our Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese partners to assist you in your global grant projects. Is a Rotary Club public charitable organization? We have heard this question many times. Some Rotarians answer “Rotary Club is not a public charitable organization.” Today Rotary International website explains that Rotary has 3 components: 1. Rotary Clubs 2. Rotary International 3. The Rotary Foundation The Rotary Foundation has been listed by several organizations in the TOP TEN as follows: 1. Charity Navigator in 2016 puts The Rotary Foundation at number 3 out of 10 of the Best Charities Everyone’s Heard of. 2. Awarded Outstanding Foundation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) in 2016 3. Listed at number 3 of The Top 10 Charities Changing The World 2016 by CNBC.Com Rotary clubs are organizations of Rotary International that are located in various communities in the world and represent The Rotary Foundation in their services for the communities worldwide. They work with transparency together with their communities doing service projects which are beneﬁcial to the communities and which the communities desire. These projects then lead to sustainable activities and improve the communities. The activities are carried within the policies laid out by Rotary International in the club constitution which is the same for all clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who use their own time and vocational skills to manage the activities and lead it to success. They donate their own money to the projects and make donations to The Rotary Foundation. Sometimes they fund raise to do projects for the communities. Because of this The Rotary Foundation is able to work with the kind of low costs rarely seen in other organizations. If all clubs are like this then its clear Rotary clubs are deﬁnitely public charitable organizations. And yet sometimes we think up our own projects and do activities by club members without participation of the community. Some clubs then lack the ability to be public charitable organizations.

at Angkor Miracle Resort and Spa Hotel in Siem Reap on June 10, 2018 has ended with a favorable accomplishment.

According to the club plan of all clubs in Cambodia, the total membership is planned to increase by 33% from 141 to 187 Rotarians and the contribution to The Rotary Foundation is also planned at USD 11,900.- for The Rotary Year 2018-19.
