OX CLUB Ox Club is an award-winning contemporary British solid-fuel grill restaurant showcasing the best of Yorkshire produce, opened in December 2016 at Headrow House in Leeds – a multi-use venue housed within a former 20th Century textile mill. Now into its third year, the restaurant has been featured in both the Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide for 2017, 2018 and 2019, demonstrating the culinary talents of their brilliant team. Proud champions of local and regional producers, meat is supplied by small family-run farms in North Yorkshire including Swaledale Foods and R&J Butchers, fish sourced in the North Sea by Hodgson’s of Hartlepool - whose fleet land some of the UK’s finest fish, and fresh fruit and veg from Wellocks.
The menu is full of simple but imaginative dishes, with a specials board that changes daily dependent on the seasonal produce available to suppliers, whether that’s langoustines from the North Sea or the finest lamb rump from the fields of Swaledale.
A La Carte Menu served Tuesday to Saturday. Weekend brunch served Saturday & Sunday 11am – 3pm. Reservations at oxclub.co.uk

EVENT APATOSAURUS (Deceptive Lizard) - Victoria Leeds Lived 152 million years ago Belonging to the sauropod group of dinosaurs, the Apatosaurus were plant eaters and possessed a long neck, long tails and small heads. They grew to around 20 metres long and weighed more than 20 tonnes (with this size and mass being their main defence against predators).
CARNOTAURUS (Meat-Eating Bull) - Leeds Kirkgate Market Lived 72 million years ago Carnotaurus is a very unusual and interesting carnivorous therapod dinosaur. It is the only therapod known with a pair of horns, which were used for head-butting prey like a pair of rams. Another feature of the Carnotaurus is the exceptionally short arms (even shorter than the T-Rex). At 8 metres long and 2 tonnes in weight this dinosaur was still an effective killer.
TRICERATOPS (Three Horned Face) - The Merrion Centre Lived 68 million years ago Triceratops weighed in at 8 tonnes, grew to 9 metres long and 3 metres tall. It was about twice the size and weight as a rhino today. It has one of the largest skulls of any land animal that has ever lived – it was a plant eater with a beak to grasp and snap off vegetation.
CAGED RAPTORS (Terrible Claw) - Trinity Kitchen Lived 115 million years ago These raptors are part of the dromaeosuar family of dinosaurs and are theropods that were all meat eating. At just over 2 metres tall they could run up to 40km per hour and they were fierce and agile hunters with razor sharp serrated teeth.
TYRANNOSAURUS REX (Tyrant Lizard King) - Trinity Leeds Lived 68 million years ago The king of all dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the biggest and most dangerous meat eating dinosaurs of the Jurassic period. This 12m long, 7 tonne killing machine had more than 50 huge teeth, each one over 30cm long and the most powerful bite force of any animal in history.
