Leafy Fingerless Gloves Materials:  Fingering weight yarn, approximately 250 yards – sample made with Knitpicks Bare Merino Fingering  4 US size 1 (2.25 mm) double pointed needles  2 stitch markers  2 stitch holders  Waste yarn Gauge: 10 sts = 1 inch (20 sts = 5cm) in stockinette stitch

Right Glove: CO 72 sts (24 sts on each of 3 dpns) Join in the round, being careful not to twist stitches (K1tbl, P1) around for 5 rounds Begin the leaf pattern (use the pattern labeled “Right Glove”): Round 1: K1tbl, work pattern row 1, P1, (K1tbl, P1) to end Round 2: K1tbl, work pattern row 2, P1, (K1tbl, P1) to end Continue in this manner, working the 24 row pattern twice for a longer cuff, or once for a shorter cuff. Work (K1tbl, P1) rib for a total of 8 rounds, then bind off loosely. Place all sts from stitch holders back onto the needles and pick up 4 sts along the base of the pinkie finger (60 sts total). Work (K1tbl, P1) rib for 3 rounds, beginning just past pinkie. Ring Finger: Use 8 sts from the back of the hand, 8 sts from the palm, 4 sts from the base of the pinkie finger, and CO 4 sts across the gap. (24 sts total) Work (K1tbl, P1) rib for 8 rounds, then bind off loosely. Middle Finger: Use 8 sts from the back of the hand, 8 sts from the palm, 4 sts from the base of the ring finger, and CO 4 sts across the gap. (24 sts total) Work (K1tbl, P1) rib for 8 rounds, then bind off loosely. Pointer Finger: Use the remaining 24 sts from the stitch holders and 4 sts from the base of the middle finger.
