Hey Hunter Key Club! I hope you guys had a fantastic Thanksgiving break! My favorite event of November is when we celebrate Key Club during Key Club week! We wear Key Club merch and show the rest of the school what Key Club is all about. I was also really excited to see so many people volunteering and attending Key Club events! Keep it up! Yours in Service,

Sophia Zhang

Upcoming events include Key to Your Future, Mockingjay Part 2 Movie Fundraiser, and another Rescue Leftover Cuisine in December. She also went over District updates, such include Leadership Training Conference fees and deadlines. Other important announcements include elections. The key clubbers also played an icebreaker.

Fundraising Head Andy Chen Q: Why did you join key club? A: I was just drawn to Key Club at club fair. It was the only one that really stood out to me despite the multitude of clubs and interests because of the friendly and inclusive attitudes of the members Q: What was your favorite event? Why? There are two that I can't narrow down. Light the Night was my first event ever and I really enjoyed that event because I got to spend time with a new friend and it just made me want to stay in Key Club. Although I didn't know anyone there, fellow Key Clubbers from other schools initiated the conversation and it made Key Club feel less like a volunteer organization and more like a family. My other favorite event which I attended just recently is Room to Grow. We spent two hours in this magical apartment in lower Manhattan sorting Christmas presents: gifts, clothes, and toys. I felt like I was one of Santa's elves working behind the scenes to make others happier.
