Carbondale Arts’ Hot Tips for the Fair and Carbondale Life In General

We embrace creativity and inspiration here so the best way to be part of this community is to let your colors shine.

1. The fair has costume themes each day and we’d love for you to join in! Friday is Animal Kingdom, Saturday is Plant and Fungi Kingdoms, and Sunday is Fantasy Kingdom.

2. Buy your t-shirts early!! You can find them in the park near the gazebo.

3. Shop early at the fair — it's cooler and quieter. The booths open at 12pm on Friday, 10am on Saturday and Sunday, and all vendors are back in Sopris Park!

4. Carbondale has many great nonprofits and organizations and getting involved with any of them can enhance your life. Meet a few of them at The Cantina this weekend and help them raise money!

5. Stop by the Carbondale Arts Silent Auction booth for good deals on items graciously donated by the featured vendors.

6. Be sure to check out the Oasis. We’re highlighting youth performers, makers, and more, plus that’s the new homebase for the singer/songwriter competition!

8. Ride your bike as often as you can. Palisade PediCab will also be offering rides for fair folk, with Pick Up & Drop Off at the Bike Parking & Park Entrance on Weant.

9. Mountain Fair is proud of our waste diversion, only 15% of our waste goes to the landfill. Please dispose of your waste correctly at our Green Team Stations

10. See live music, dance, and make art as often as possible.
