Barbara A. Jones Barbara A. Jones coordinates the firm’s Global Securities practice group and serves as co‐coordinator of the firm’s interdisciplinary Conflict Minerals Compliance Initiative. Barbara maintains a diverse corporate and securities law practice across industry groups, emphasizing complex international and domestic transactions, including private and public financings, IPOs, secondary offerings, dual listings, mergers and acquisitions and licensing transactions. Her work extends to complex regulatory reporting and compliance issues arising in connection with her transactional work and representation of publicly listed companies. She regularly serves as counsel to leading investment banks, financial institutions and private equity groups, as well as public and private companies in life sciences and biotechnology, information technology, energy (traditional and renewable), mining, defense and security, telecommunications, media, entertainment and sports. Barbara is also active in the representation of Olympic athletes and sports‐related organizations.

Ben Mead Ben is the Managing Director for Hohenstein Institute Americas. In this role Ben has OEKO-TEX responsibilities for the United States and promotes Hohenstein’s expertise as a globally recognized leader in textile research and testing. He also serves as the company’s liaison with governmental agencies, industry collaborations, and trade associations. He previously consulted with a variety of brands and industry associations including Textile Exchange and AFIRM. In those roles, Ben was responsible for content development, training, and establishing partnerships with industry leaders and experts to increase industry engagement in green chemistry and sustainable textile processing. Ben started his career working for Nike, Inc where he helped develop a restricted substances program and was also involved in implementation of both sustainable materials and water programs.


David Callet David Callet is a Principal in CalletLaw, where he provides comprehensive client representation on all aspects of consumer product safety compliance. Based on over 30 years of practical experience, David helps his client develop an effective strategic approach to protect its brands, products and commercial and consumer relationships from product safety issues. David guides his clients to avoid, recognize, respond quickly to, mitigate risk from and timely resolve product safety problems that do arise. His experience in product liability litigation helps clients limit the likelihood that a product safety compliance issue will lead to product liability litigation. James Kohm James Kohm is the Associate Director for the Enforcement Division of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. In that capacity, he oversees enforcement of all consumer protection orders, the Commission’s Green Marketing program, Hispanic Initiative, Bankruptcy program, Criminal Liaison Unit, and a myriad of FTC Rules and Guides. Prior to joining the Enforcement Division, Mr. Kohm served as the Bureau’s Chief of Staff with responsibility for the Commission’s seven regional offices, and as both the Acting Associate Director and an Assistant Director in the FTC’s Division of Marketing Practices. Mr. Kohm received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
