Amid rolling English countryside dotted with picturesque villages you will find so much to enjoy; historic houses and gardens, meandering rivers and canals, skiing and tobogganing. Have a calming walk in The National Forest, Britain’s most ambitious environmental project. Linking the ancient forests of Needwood and Charnwood, more than 7,800,000 trees have already been planted. The woodland is being created on a scale not seen for more than 1,000 years, creating stunning landscapes and wildlife habitats.
