Speak Woman Magazine invites you to explore the transformative power of giving back. Here's how spreading joy through acts of generosity can fortify your brand:
1. Building Authentic Connections Philanthropy provides a genuine avenue for brands to connect with their audience. By aligning with causes that resonate with their values, businesses can establish authentic connections that go beyond transactions. This emotional bond fosters loyalty, as consumers appreciate and support brands that contribute meaningfully to society. 2. Creating a Positive Brand Image Engaging in philanthropy allows your brand to actively contribute to the greater good. Whether it's supporting local charities, environmental initiatives, or social justice causes, these actions create a positive brand image. Consumers are more likely to choose products or services from companies that demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility. 3. Employee Engagement and Morale Philanthropy is not only about external impact; it also boosts internal morale. Engaging employees in charitable initiatives fosters a sense of pride and purpose. A socially responsible workplace can attract and retain top talent, creating a positive company culture that resonates with both staff and clients. 4. Positive Public Relations Philanthropy often generates positive media coverage, amplifying your brand's reach and influence. Whether through partnerships with charitable organizations, events, or cause-driven campaigns, these initiatives resonate with the public strengthening your brand impact. As the holiday season encourages reflection on the year past and the one ahead, consider the joyous impact your brand can have through strategic philanthropy. Additionally, she recently hosted her inaugural annual retreat, 'Pursue, Overtake, Seize, Recover All,' reflecting her dedication to empowering individuals to conquer life's challenges.
At 12, the Lord God introduced Himself in the form of a cloud. Snow began to cover the ground in Tampa, FL. It never snows in Florida, so I was in awe. A cloud began to draw closer towards me and it began to speak these words. "Priscilla I am the Lord your God. I am soon to return. Are you ready?" I replied, "no I stop going to mom's church because they pastor don't want us there". God replied, "get ready I'll be back." I ran inside to tell mom that Jesus is outside and all that He said to me. Mom replied, "Well you better get ready, because I’m ready." I ran to my bedroom and called the name Jesus to be refilled with the Holy Ghost. I got saved a year prior but I had recently stopped going to church because of church hurt. I immediately understood right then I had a calling on my life.
From age 13 I found myself in a 7 year narcissistic abusive relationship that nearly took my life. I was looking for love in all the wrong places. I was introduced to a 21-year-old man who would become my worst nightmare. I didn't know it then, but he was a narcissist. He attempted to take my life several times. The last time our 1-year-old son was present. He would crawl over to me to protect me from the blunt strikes of his dad's fist. My face was fractured by the final blow. He threw my Bible so hard toward me it fractured my face and pushed my nose to the left side of my face. The impact was bloody. Blood flowed from my nose, mouth and right cheek which left a scar. By Gods mercy I escaped. 2 years later, I remember praying a prayer with Bishop TD Jake's. He said repeat after me, "Lord remove everything and everyone out of my life that means me no good". My fiancée left, my roommate left, my sister left, and I lost my job. I met my second son's father who was also a narcissist that left me while I was pregnant. This situation caused me to run back to God with my heart. This time I would end up in a church that brought to my awareness I'm a Prophetess of God. I’d never had heard the word “Prophetess” before. I began studying on Prophets and found similarities in our sufferings. In Romans 8:18 Paul says, “..the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.” I would continue to experience rejection in churches, but I held fast to my relationship with God as I began to come into the knowledge of my identity in Jesus. I would go on to have several more God encounters that continued to shape my life.
I remember God showing me in a vision of the night Nations. Not America, but the Nations of Muslims and Africa. He showed me the people he was sending me for. I was around 24 years old and was facing so much warfare and crushing. I thought I was cursed. I was still trying to understand why me, and why so much pain. This dream helped me see the crushing wasn't for nothing. Crushing the olive produces oil. What I endured caused me to become oily. Testimonies followed… My mother was supernaturally healed from an unknown illness. On 5/26/2023 she was admitted to the hospital and by 5/29 she was on life support. She was nonresponsive, heart rate dropped, and her oxygen was low. Through prayer and intercession, she was out of the hospital in 17 days fully restored. In August 2023, a spiritual daughter called me as her daughter was in the hospital loosing blood. Her blood was drying up without a cause. I got on the phone with her daughter and prayed that she received healing. Her blood started to build up on its own and she was released from the hospital days later. People’s ministries have been resurrected; lives changed. Only God can do this! I give God all the Glory! Everything I endured was worth it to be able to witness the glory of God transform lives. It's all God
I wanted to give my resources to a God cause. My dad was a veteran; born and raised in Alabama. I was led by God to honor my dad's service by opening a living facility housing homeless veterans. Through my experience with homelessness I gained compassion for others experiencing the same trauma. Just like I was Blessed by God giving me favor when I needed housing I am now able to assist homeless veterans.
The Art of Self-Kindness Picture a loved one facing a challenging situation. Would you criticize and condemn them, or would you offer words of encouragement, comfort, and support? Extend the same kindness you readily offer to friends and loved ones to yourself. Treat your inner self gently and lovingly just as you would treat a close friend or family member. Understanding Your Humanity To be human is to be beautifully flawed. Mistakes are steppingstones to growth. It's through these stumbles and falls that we learn, evolve, and ultimately, thrive. Cultivate an understanding of your own humanity, and in doing so, you'll find the strength to rise stronger after each setback. Affirmation of Self-Compassion "I deserve love, patience, kindness, understanding, and compassion - from others and, most importantly, from myself. In embracing my imperfections, I unlock my true potential. Through self-compassion, I nurture the seeds of growth and self-acceptance within me."
