THE BUSA The Suzuki Hayabusa has always had a prominent appearance to me. My older brother, Greg rode a first-generation Busa. It was the coolest thing to me, when I was younger, that my brother was riding, at the time, the world's fastest production motorcycle. Watching him riding around on the Busa is one of the notable reasons that began my journey as a motorcyclist. What's interesting is that not once, did I ever ask him for a ride. I had to have my own bike. That's how it had to be.
meant to be an urban biker for many years. It even had a starring role in one of my favorite motorcycle movies, Biker Boyz.
So here we are, 20 plus years later and we are finally being introduced to the third generation of the Suzuki Hayabusa. Yes, Suzuki says that the 2022 Busa is not just a makeover of the prior generation, but a brand new version of the bike. But for me, I'll never forget the vibes that I get from the first-gen Busa. It just takes me back to memories of how the bike scene used to be. I know that I am not the only that The Busa, though... The iconic bird of appreciates the sentiment. I know that I'm not prey. The Peregrine Falcon of ancient lore. the only one that misses it. During the heyday of Black Bike Week and Daytona Bike Week, the golden age of bike Man... Times are changing. Changing times. customizations, you would see a plethora of custom Busas at every bike night, bike event, Best, gas station, parked on the strip or main street.
