When we were young, we dreamed… CHABAD IS A WAY OF LIFE that sees every person as the center of the universe, and every experience as a chance to improve the course of history. Back in 2003, we were a small community of friends sharing this unique brand of inclusive, joyful Judaism, dreaming of including all Hunterdon County residents in our journey. Today that dream is a magnificent reality. Chabad’s reputation as a trendsetter with a non-judgmental approach has yielded explosive growth. Chabad now boasts a portfolio of cutting-edge educational programs, high-impact nonsectarian social services and holiday enrichment experiences serving every segment of society. WE HAVE REACHED A TIPPING POINT AND THE MOMENTUM IS ELECTRIC. NOW IS THE TIME TO BUILD A STATE-OF-THE-ART CENTER TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY TODAY AND FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

What is your dream for our future?

PURCHASE & FEASIBILITY STUDY In October 2014, Chabad entered into contract to purchase a 10-acre parcel at the intersection of Rt. 31 and Payne Rd. in Clinton Township. Due diligence deemed the property ideal for the new Chabad Center and the feasibility study produced a critical mass of community support.

CAMPUS DESIGN & APPROVALS In May 2016, Chabad successfully raised $650,000 of the $700,000 needed to purchase the property. An additional $175,000 was raised toward the campus construction.

CONSTRUCTION & DEDICATION In June 2016, Chabad launched our $4.7 million building campaign to build this historic center, a home to countless memorable milestones and a spectacular source of pride for the greater Hunterdon community.
