Summer entertaining is back! How excited are your clients?

Our Hamptons clients have gotten a jump on their summer planning months ago! Normally, our events are planned two months in advance, and now many families are planning six to eight months ahead of time.

Tips for transforming a home into the perfect event venue?

I always make an effort to understand the client’s creative vision early in the process. Then, typically, some combination of flowers, greenery, lighting, tents, and other custom design elements bring it all together. We strive to create an immersive experience by transforming a backyard using all available resources.

What’s trending on the food front these days?

Our clients are making up for the past two years, and they want it all! From weddings to sporting events, everyone is planning something special. The food trends are lobster rolls, sushi, and steak; elegant surf and turf with exciting vegetarian options, ensuring there is something delicious for everyone.

How local is your business?

We are proud to say that our business focuses on local staff, food, flowers, and locally based retailers.

Proudest accomplishment this past year?

The launch of our swag division! A memorable takeaway item is a special finishing touch to any event.

Any Memorial Day Weekend hosting advice?

Do not rely on the weather! Have a tent with beautiful lighting and heaters. Ilysa Steinberg Serve warm bites and delicious cocktails, and have live music; local bands are always a hit to get everyone dancing!

How do you incorporate female empowerment into your company’s DNA?

We’re collaborating with DreamBig Events at DreamDry Salon in NYC. Women come together to showcase their products for evenings of cocktails and shopping along with discounted pampering. T
