Jungle Book by Edward Mast July 6 - 22, 2018 Nestled in the jungle of India, Mowgli is a boy who has been raised by wolves. Banished by the ferocious tiger, Sherakhan, Mowgli learns the laws of the jungle from his panther friend, Bagheera, and discovers his place among the animals. He discovers that real friends are not determined by the pack you are born into, but the pack you choose. Mowgli must choose whether to defy the law of the jungle or leave his home forever.

Mama Mia

Before she ties the knot, Sophie is determined to find out who her father is. She invites three of her mom’s old flames to the wedding and that’s where the fun begins! This exhilarating tale of love, laughter, family and friendship is set to ABBA’s rock classics including Dancing Queen, Take a Chance on Me, SOS and, of course, Mamma Mia!

Amazing Grace

adapted by Shay Youngblood from the book by Mary Hoffman October 12 - 21, 2018 Grace was a girl who loved stories. Empowered by the strength of her imagination and the love of her mother and Nana, Grace dreams big dreams. When her friend tells Grace she can’t play the title role in their class’s production of Peter Pan because she is a black girl, she still believes in herself. In the end, Graces learns that she can do anything she imagines.

KUDZU, the Musical by Paul Pierce and Allen Levi November 8 - 18, 2018 A summer storm rages and the Chattahoochee River threatens to overflow its banks. Undaunted, an enthusiastic studio audience braves the elements to huddle on the top floor of WKDZ - Kudzu Radio for the 20th Anniversary Broadcast of the Vine Time Variety Hour. Southern legends, tall tales, rural humor and local news are woven together with the Lost Dog Report, Recipes and Home Remedies and WKDZ’s popular mystery series, Frank Cutter: Phenix City Private Eye. Original bluegrass, country, blues, gospel and comedy tunes by Georgia’s legendary songsmith, Allen Levi.

ELF the Musical

based on the 2003 film, musical score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin December 7 - 23, 2018 ELF is the rollicking holiday family musical about Buddy, an orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. Santa raises Buddy as an elf until his enormous size and poor toymaking skills force him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York City discover the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day musical comedy Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF.

A Tuna Christmas by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard December 13 - 23, 2018 Putting the FUN in DisFUNction, a brilliant cast of master comedians continues the legacy of Columbus’ legendary Holiday cult favorite for its 18th year. Springer favorites Jim Pharr and Ben Redding play all 24 citizens of Tuna, the tiny Texas town that erupts in holiday mayhem every year with a disastrous production of “A Christmas Carol,” yard displays vandalized by the Christmas Phantom and a Humane Society overrun with iguanas, coyotes, sheep and myna birds. More than 60,000 patrons have made this a genuine Christmas tradition in Columbus.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams

January 24 - February 3, 2019 The searing, sultry Pulitzer Prize-winning masterwork that Tennessee Williams named his favorite. Set in the sprawling Southern plantation house, a family has gathered to celebrate the birthday of their ailing patriarch, Big Daddy, a wealthy cotton tycoon.The play explores the intriguing family politics of Big Daddy’s volatile and often hilarious family - Big Mama, Gooper, Sister Woman, the No-Neck Monsters, son Brick and the play’s gorgeous heroine, Maggie the Cat. Disney’s 101 Dalmations

book by Marcy Heisley, music and lyrics by Mel Leven, Randy Rogel, Richard Gibbs, Brian Smith, Martin Lee Fuller and Dan Root February 22 - March 10, 2019 Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita’s former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.

Driving Miss Daisy by Alfred Uhry

April 4 - 20, 2019 A Southern masterpiece. This is the touching oddcouple story of a feisty Jewish widow, Daisy Werthan, and her soft-spoken African-American chauffeur, Hoke Colburn. Set in Atlanta between1948 and 1973, the two antagonists grow old together as the South struggles to shed its Jim Crow legacy - and a loving friendship develops. Driving Miss Daisy is the only play in history to win the “triple crown” of awards - Tony, Oscar and Pultizer Prizes.
