DIRECTORS NOTES
n hard times, there seem to be few commonalities between ourselves and those that disagree with us. Laughter is a uniting force. One that can bring any hero and villain together. One that can bring light and possibility to even the saddest of moments. This story of Robin Hood shows us the power of humor and its ability to give us hope. Hope that we can laugh in the face of fear. Hope that we can look past the hard times. Hope that with the support of others we can move our position in life. This cast of actors have spent many years working towards this production. This show marks an end of their journey as students at the Springer Theatre Academy. A journey that embodies all the lessons Robin Hood and his Merry Men aim to teach us. In their time here, they have shown us the importance of love, support, and laughter. They may have started as students, but they leave with a powerful sense of community and the duty to help those around them. It is our hope that you walk away from our show never underestimating the power of laughter and the hope it can bring. It can heal wounds, mend bridges, and bring together the most unlikely of friends. We hope you enjoy it...MUCH!
