Happy New Year everyone & welcome to our 10th issue. Join us as we are grow from strength to strength, inspiring our thousands of international Goddess Guru subscribers regularly. Real beauty is not skin deep, it is so much more! Did you know, that you are beautiful beyond any doubt?! That you are a unique person with a special kind of gifted beauty, which no other person on the planet possess? That your beauty is is a sacred gift and something very personal and individual that you have to offer. I want you to start and acknowledge that ‘hidden’ beauty within you, to claim your own worth as a beautiful person. Beauty is something that can never really be measured by any scale nor can be described by mere words. It’s an impression which one leaves on others and that impression is the true reflection of many fine characteristics of one’s personality and spirit. I call it “inner beauty”. For many years I have devoted time to helping others to see themselves as I do, to reflect to them their inner beauty. If you’re in doubt about your beauty, you may be suffering from some kind of inferiority complex or insecurity, or negative programming from others from your past, which can affect your professional and personal life. The trick is to not allow any negative forces, be they internal or external to influence your self esteem. It’s time to take control and become more confident about yourself! Start today: Look straight into a mirror and say with full confidence “I Love and approve of myself, I am beautiful”. Say it over and over with conviction, on your way to work, while shopping or doing domestic chores, keep repeating it in your mind,“I love and approve of myself, I am beautiful,” and notice how people begin to see or treat you differently.Your eyes, ears, nose, lips and even the pores of your skin must ooze,“I love and approve of myself, I am beautiful”.This will help build your confidence about your own beauty, and will leave no option but for others to observe that you are indeed truly a beautiful person. Note how they start to reflect that back to you. Lets begin together in 2013, and build self-confident inner beauty, lets achieve success in every sphere of our life, by loving ourselves and believing in ourselves more. Remove any doubt that we are all beautiful people! … grab your favourite cuppa, pull open your iPad or laptop & happy reading, enjoy the fabulous article inside! Blessing the Goddess in you! he Goddess is the term used for the sacred feminine deity or God self. She is the Divine aspect and expression of the sacred feminine! She lives and dwells in the ancient heart of all mankind. In awakening her and claiming this aspect of our selves we can begin to recognize her archetypal strengths and weaknesses within our own character, giving us a more common thread of understanding the essence of our inner self and our link to the collective unconscious. As God is every where so too is the Goddess, she lives in all things and co creates with the God. Awakening both the divine male and female aspects are required spiritually to become whole in oneself. How and why would/should I awaken her essence and become one with her? The Goddess is the divine aspects of the Sacred Feminine, in contrast and

counterpart to the divine aspects of the Sacred Masculine God. Everything is born from her and will eventually return to her, for she is giver of life, and taker of life. Death and rebirth are her domain, a continual process of her laws of nature, as are destruction and decay.
the energy of the Goddess in all her glory as part of their duality, creating total balance. The Goddess lies dormant hidden deep within our lunar/moon DNA part of the self, deep within the core or essence of ones Soul. Everyone’s Soul has this within our cellular memory.
She traditionally has three parts to her sacred journey in womanhood; the youth or Maiden (usually under the age of 20) before one marries or bears a child; the Mother usually (21-45) once one has married and born children; and the Crone (45 and older) mature wiser woman traditionally she was no longer menstruating. However, there is much more to her journey than just these social archetypal aspects. The divine feminine lives within men and women alike and both can embrace
The goddess is an inherent part of our nature. She naturally surfaces and is often awakened slowly and subtly as we journey through our life, albeit overlooked often going unnoticed, however, if we look for her and embrace her, we can use her natural dormant powers to evolve and become more whole as spiritual beings in human form. She offers us amazing natural wisdom which adds depth and breadth to our being helping to make our life more open, full, magical and grounded.
T
he Goddess embodies all that is natural, raw, wild and powerful, all that is infinite wisdom, all that is infinite love, all that is healing. She is all compassion, all that is intimate and sensual, all that is beauty, all that represents the essence of the Sacred feminine. Therefore she is all accepting, all allowing, all that brings balance, and all that is non judgmental and wise. She is the keeper of duality, the very womb of creation, the earth and cosmos combined. There are many time honoured initiations that enable us to begin our journey to the Goddess, connecting with and progressing us along the divine feminine part of self. To start to awaken and become a true Goddess, one must become familiar and in touch with all aspects of oneself; the feminine creative/ intuitive/psychic/mind; the life bringer/sensual/sexual/body; ones feelings/moods/inner tides/ emotional ebb and flow; the greatness of ones own creative energy/spirit/ soul. When known she is expressed as being a whole woman who is comfortable and at ease with whom she is on all levels of her being. To become a real Goddess is not an easy task to undertake and some would say that it is not for the faint hearted. One must claim all aspects of oneself, including ones duality; male/female aspects, and ones positive/lightness along with ones negative/darkness aspects. A Goddess must know herself on all levels within and without, to do this, she must claim all that was once separate, all that was once scattered. She must heal her karmic wounds
and gather herself from all that would claim power over her. The Goddess is dormant in every human being, waiting to be awakened then invited to participate, allowed and unleashed and not just in woman. There are some men also who can access and claim this goddess aspect within them, as they claim their duality. It is honoured within men as it is within women. Connecting and embracing the Goddess within will help to create balance once again in our patriarchal male dominated world.
How to begin to gently awaken your inner goddess!
4
Enjoy your beauty. Allow yourself to play with looking and feeling more beautiful. Experiment and fall in love with yourself and your natural beauty, everyone has their own brand of beauty. Have manicures and pedicures, put pretty colours on and enjoy being pretty and girly and indulge in some bling.
5
Pamper your self and learn to let go and relax. Take time out and book regular facials and or body massages, they help you to connect with yourself in a very profound way. Stay in touch with yourself through taking personal time for self.
6
Connect often with Nature. Walk in her forests and along her shores, marvel at her power in Nature. Grow flowers, food or herbs and become one with living growing entities. There is something quite marvelous about growing things that gives pleasure and satisfaction on a deep inner soul and primal level.
1
Allow your emotions to be just as they are. Get in touch with how you FEEL! Don’t be afraid to feel your feelings. This is the first place to start to set yourself free emotionally. Stop bottling pent up emotion, let them out regularly. If you have difficulty try massage and Reiki as a means to gently access your feelings.
Enjoy the company of pets. Feel the joy of playing with and looking after another living being who loves unconditionally, who gives love back to you. Taking care of them develops real-time responsibility. Did you know on the list of what makes women happy, pets is number one!
2
Learn to set boundaries and say “NO”. Claim back your power by setting some healthy boundaries in ALL areas of your life. It’s okay; you don’t have to be everything to everyone. So set some very well deserved boundaries that serve you too!
3
8
Learn to ingest great food and enjoy the art of cooking. Food is a passion, one of life’s basic pleasures. Have fun cooking for friends and family, this is a natural thing for the Goddess to do, for it’s all about nurturing others. It brings the Goddess great joy and purpose to look after and feed her loved ones.
7
Allow yourself to indulge your sensuality. Sensuality is one of the more natural primal aspects of the sacred feminine. It’s the softness of our lips, fullness of our breasts, the curves of our body felt under silk , its feeling sexy, playful, open, juicy and available, ready for intimacy and sexual pleasure. So enjoy her! www.goddessguruezine.com

Greenest grass and pure light beneath my feet, lush, fragrant and clear, the refreshing breath of nature surrounds me. Gathering fallen apple tree branches, I kneel to the earth and I am enveloped in her love. I find myself lying on the dew soaked leaves looking up at the vast sea of sky above me. All the while I wonder, why does such peace surround me in this moment? I am alone.Yet I do not feel lonely. I know not what this is to be called, suffice to say, I know I have come home.

cross the world, 2012 has been a time of rapid change and predicted transformation. The end of the Mayan calendar, many predict that 2012 is the end of the world, or certainly the end of the world as we know it. And what might that mean? The end of a world that has seen the Goddess suppressed and denied and the beginning of a world where the Divine Feminine again takes a place in our consciousness and influences our way of life? What would that world be like? It would require a transformation!
caterpillar, with transformation we get a butterfly.
It wouldn’t be a change; we have great capacity for that and the change we are living through is constant and increasingly rapid. Change and transformation are not the same. Change is about making the current situation better (Or worse as the case might be) while transformation is about new creation. With change we get a better
Every culture in the world has a Goddess of Transformation. Some are in their distant past like Cerridwen in Wales, the Furies of the Romans, Demeter of the Greeks, Innana in Mesopetamia or Sekhmet in ancient Egypt. Others are still very present such as Kali of Hindu tradition, Oya in Africa and Pele in Hawaii.

A simple way of describing the difference between change and transformation is that change can be reversed whereas transformation cannot. For example if I am making a garment and I lay out all of the component parts and leave the room – someone comes in and moves them around – when I return I can reverse this change. If however, when I leave the room, they use the materials to make a different garment - this is transformation.
The Goddesses of Transformation each show us that to create anew we need first to let go or destroy that which is holding us back from fulfilling our full potential; each of them represents the fundamental connection between death and rebirth, destruction and creativity. Spring follows winter and the seed transforms into a plant, the cocoon provides the place for transformation to the butterfly and new life grows from the old and discarded. Even giving ourselves to love requires us to let go of self and take a huge step into the unknown.

been that his 3 year old brother, ‘The Prophet Of Doom’ informed me one morning over coffee and toast that the new kitten I got a few days earlier was going to be taken by his late greatgrandfather because she was sick. Poor little Missy passed the next morning. My boys now 5 and 7, are still in awe of my Unicorn Oracle deck – their favourite since they were old enough not to eat them - the youngest one still likes to stash my crystals in random places when I am not looking, and the
eldest one often talks to our family “On Clouds”, which is ‘Harry-speak’ for where people go when they pass away. Our kids, no matter what path we as parents choose to follow, are naturally spiritually connected. Their minds are open and pure and fearless – in so many ways – but that in itself is a whole other story! As pagan parents we may often ask ourselves do we teach them and how much? How much is too much, and will they be old enough to understand? Do we need to be with them every
step or let them find their own way, exploring their individual curiosity? Do we encourage it because we believe, or succumb to what society deems ‘normal’? I am a firm believer in giving them as much opportunity as possible. Our children, even as children, are Individuals. Loving creations of both parents’ spirit, hopes, dreams, beliefs and practises. When we moved to regional Queensland a little over a year ago the boys, despite my misgivings, began going to the Catholic school in our local area because it was the safest option and to their credit, was warmly welcoming of other faiths. For many reasons, I am grateful for this. It is a wonderful and diverse school and they learn plenty of interesting ideas and different views about religion and spirituality between us to guide them, to form bonds with the Deity(s) of their choosing, to provide a solid foundation for an informed choice when they are older. Eclectic in it’s own unique way, they balance Arithmetic, English and Science with Meditation, Prayer and Yoga. At home, we balance Reading and Homework with Incense, Candles and ‘Rocking Out’ in the Loungeroom. Dissimilar? I think not! - although I am quite sure they would really like to disown me when I make them apologise to the trees with an extra hug when they pick leaves or bark from majestic limbs. Another question we may ask ourselves as pagan parents is are they too young to really understand the laws of Universal Karma and harming

Perhaps the simplest answer lies within our own personal integrity and common courtesy and respect for others that we also hope to provide our little witchlings as responsible parental units. our feet, the moon in our sky, the steadfast strength of the trees, and the unconditional love of our animal companions. I love to be organised at least twice a year, sometimes even three, and get them making Samhain ghoulies, corn dollies and solstice cakes and out in the soil planting our sunflower and vegetable seeds and watering the Faery garden.
I asked the boys today what they felt Spirit and Magic was about. The smallest, who is a Harry Potter nut at the moment, declared triumphantly : ‘Potions, spells, some crystals, trees, helping others..oh and talking to Jesus!’ The biggest and most softly spoken, likened it to talking with his Guardian Angels and our family on their clouds, doing meditation, his favourite incense and healing others – and what a little healer he is too! Though he becomes more reluctant as he gets older to share all the ways that he is magic.
Now they are of the age where Superheroes are the cool thing to be, which is how I have affectionately dubbed them. Their ‘Superpowers’ of sheathed healing blue sabres ready for action, white light protective eggs and telepathy in regards to avoiding bedtime, carry them far into the worlds of battle against bullies and alternately helping to heal by nurturing and caring for others. One afternoon I heard them playing in the hallway, matchbox racing at breakneck and paint chipping speeds..
I like to become a part of their worlds as they become of mine. Though not of our faith, I go to school liturgies and watch them read prayers for others, clap embarrassingly loudly in nativity plays, hear them talk of Jesus – whom I highly rate as one of the most magical blokes ever – and listen to the youngest crank out hymns in the shower akin to the volume and pace of Pantera’s best, complete with guitar riffs in the key of ‘duh na na!’ ..definatley my child! In balance, I like to tell them of the Universe, encompassing All things that I believe in, worship and hold faith in. I encourage them to believe in the magic that surrounds them in the elements, the earth beneath

Lammas & Imbolc
Jane Meredith
S
olstices and Equinoxes are obvious markers of the seasons of the year, as the high points of winter and summer and the balanced moments of spring and autumn. In between these four festivals of Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox lie another four festivals. They interlace the solstices and equinoxes, together building an eightpointed star or circle. As with the equinoxes and solstices, the cross-quarters exist in two pairs. So we have Lammas and Imbolc (pronounced Im-olc), recognised on February 2nd and August 2nd; and also Samhain (popularly celebrated as Halloween) and Beltaine (also known as May Day) celebrated on October 30th and April 30th. Whereas the solstices and equinoxes are at the height of their
14

respective seasons, the cross-quarters signal the changeover into the next season; thus at Lammas we acknowledge summer is beginning to pass into autumn, and at Imbolc that spring is arriving after winter. Imbolc is the time of the newest growth, of seeds that have lain dormant in the ground all winter beginning to stir and sprout. Halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, Imbolc acknowledges the coming of spring, even if in colder places none of spring’s warmth or greenery have arrived yet. The festival celebrates the darkest time having passed, and the seeds that were sown or fell to the ground, or were saved from the last harvest will begin their life again.
Lammas, at the end of summer, celebrates the grain harvest. The Imbolc seeds are now full-grown into crops of wheat, oats barley and corn. It’s a crucial time in the agricultural calendar; in earlier times the success of the harvest literally decided the survival of a clan, village or family through the coming winter and even today, poor harvests can ruin a farmer. This is traditionally a time of hard labour, and also celebration as people work together to bring the crops in. This festival is also connected with the theme of sacrifice; the idea of an offering being made in the fields, to the gods or the earth in thanks for the reaping of food.
our garden matures. Some people like to work symbolic magic; placing seeds on our altars, or eating seeds as we begin new ventures, and bringing back to our altars evidence of completed projects and parts of our lives.
Today most of us are not involved in the saving or planting of seeds from one year to the next. We don’t have to choose between starving and baking the grain that’s been saved for next year’s crops into bread to feed our families. We don’t work the long sunlit hours of late summer every year, bringing in a harvest with every woman, man and child helping out. So what is our connection to these festivals of seed and grain, of the turning life of crops?
Working with the imagery of seeds, you can meditate, create a painting, poem or dance to explore what seeds you are planting in your life, right now. Remember with seeds it is important to plant many more than you will need in the end; some never sprout and some do not grow strong or true. Ask yourself in what ways you will nurture these seeds; how will you provide the rain and the sun that they need to grow?
Every time we start a new job, or course or small business; each time we begin a relationship or friendship or project; every baby that we conceive or hope that we nurture or community or group we join is a seed. We never know which of those seeds will flourish; and while we understand that attention and nurture will help their chances we may be filled with doubts and uncertainties. These beginnings align with the theme of Imbolc.
For the crops in your life that have grown, find which ones are ready to be harvested. What will that look like? What offerings of thanks-giving will you leave? What parts of those projects will become seeds for the new? You might want to write this down, or invite friends to come to a sharing ritual where you speak about harvesting in your lives or create a collage that represents all that you have harvested.
When we reap something in its fullness, also acknowledging that one phase is shifting into another we are participating in Lammas energy. We might experience this as we stand at the opening of our art show, or the launch of any project; as we celebrate our child’s 18th or 21st birthday and watch them step into adulthood or as we leave a job, relationship or group that has really seen us grow and develop as we poured ourselves into it. There is the beauty of completion as well as the grief of letting go.
You can work with just one of these ideas, as the season dictates or as your life suggests, or with both of them simultaneously. Creating an artwork, altar or ritual with both ideas woven together is a beautiful recognition of the place of growth and change in your life; blessing and honouring all the seeds you are planting and then acknowledging and offering thanks for what you are harvesting. You may like to do this with your family, friends or even on Facebook at the time of Imbolc or Lammas.
There are many ways to celebrate these festivals and energies in our own lives. Many people love the literalness of working in a garden, whether that is a bush regeneration, a veggie patch or window boxes. Here we literally get to plant and water our seeds, and to harvest – food or flowers as well as something more intangible – as
Lammas and Imbolc both occur after a solstice. They are not in themselves the dramatic moment of realisation or fulfilment; rather, they recognise the turning of the wheel and the changes in our ever-changing lives. Seeds are a perfect metaphor for change; holding all the potential of new life; at Lammas the seeds are gathered and at Imbolc they sprout.

ithin modern Pagan and Goddess-centric spiritual traditions, the Goddess is often recognised as being a trinity, that of Maiden (or Virgin), Mother and Crone (Hag or Wise Woman), and as such, She is referred to as the “Triple Goddess”. Trinities of the Goddess can be found in various mythologies such as the three Norse Norns, as well as Greek Moiras and Erinnyes. According to ancient Irish myth, when the Milesians arrived on the shores of the country they later named Eire, and began to make their way to Tara (the “Seat of Sovereignty”), they came across three aspects of the Goddess of Sovereignty - Bandha, Eriu and Fodha. When the Milesian poet, Amergin, promised Eriu that Ireland would bear Her name as its first and only name, she in turn declared Ireland to belong the Milesians until the end of time. #1 Even in Hinduism, a specific distinction is made between separate aspects of the Great Goddess, the “MahaDevi”, these being Sarasvati, Lakshmi and Kali. The concept of the Triple Goddess being a personification

of the differing phases of the moon stems from the writings by English poet and scholar, Robert Graves. #2 In this volume of work, Graves drew his inspiration from the earlier writings of Sir James Frazer as well as that of Jane Ellen Harrison. These both had suggested that there had been a Goddess worshipping belief throughout early Europe that focused around three aspects (Maiden, Mother and Crone), each having reflected a phase of the moon. #3 Graves took this idea one step further and proclaimed that his Triple Goddess was indeed “an aboriginal deity of Britain, whose worship continued as a witch-cult.” #4 According to Graves, the youthful Maiden Goddess represents the waxing phase; the Mother Goddess is the full moon; and the Crone represents the waning phase of the moon. In this instance, three Goddesses are related under one aspect of the Great Goddess. For example, the Greek Goddess Artemis is often perceived as the Virginal huntress who is associated with the waxing moon, and who rules the earth. Selene is the Mother aspect of the Goddess who is associated with

joys and sorrows of motherhood, and the wisdom and independence of old age, which return when women are free of the obligations of childbearing. Modern society has tended to venerate the young and the beautiful and to neglect and devalue other aspects of womanhood. British Witch Anna Franklin is of the view that Graves is responsible for inspiring another belief that is more commonly found within more Goddess-centric spiritual paths, that of the “three blood initiations”. Within this belief, the Maiden aspect of the Goddess is initiated by the blood mystery of menarche, the Mother is initiated through the blood mysteries of pregnancy and birth (either literally or metaphorically), and the Crone is initiated by the blood mystery of menopause. #7 These three aspects of the Goddess as She is commonly observed within modern Pagan and Goddess-centric spiritual traditions will be discussed in the second part of this article, along with the possibility that there is in fact a fourth aspect of the Goddess that we should be considering.

the full moon and who rules the sky. Controversially, Hekate is often perceived as the Crone #5, associated with the waning and dark moon, ruling the Underworld. It is interesting to note that when these three Greek Goddesses are used in this manner, the Triple Goddess is not only perceived as a Lunar Goddess but also the ruler of the three worlds – the heavens, earth and the underworld. This aspect is reflected in the Garland of Laurel, a poem by 15th century English poet John Skelton: Diana in the leaves green, Luna that so bright doth sheen, Persphone in Hell. #6 The unmentioned fourth phase of the moon, where she is not visible in the sky, is often referred to as the “Dark Goddess” which will be mentioned later. One reason for the possible popularity of the Triple Goddess is that She represents all aspects of the female life cycle. The freedom and independence of youth, the

here is a saying that goes something like ‘Scratch under the surface of any gardener and you will find an Earth Worshipper.’ Intrinsic to gardening are actions that open up and allow our connection to the Earth to blossom and flower naturally and effortlessly. The feeling of the grass on bare feet, the warm smell of compost, the earth in our hands and the tending to the potential of life in seeds; all these are acts of connection with our true essence as embodied beings on a living planet. With new environmental threats and tragedies emerging every day it is easy to feel that our species is on the path to destruction. This can be overwhelming and

disempowering! The truth is that each one of us has the opportunity, through our actions, to make change. The Earth is our life support system, and the way we make use of the physical space we have available to us is one of the most tangible ways to create that change. Many of the Gods and Goddesses of old were intimately connected with all aspects of the natural environment. Gardens are usually associated with land devas and fae beings, however there are some lesser known deities that govern them also. Horta is an Etruscan Goddess of gardens; Flora is the Lady of Flowers, an Italian Spring Goddess of flowers and blooming plants; Pomona is the Roman Goddess of
fruit trees known as Lady Orchard and Priapus is a minor Greek God of Fertility, protector of livestock, fruit plants, gardens and male genitalia. Gardens provide us with the opportunity to engage with our environment; in positive or negative ways. This applies regardless of whether you have potted plants on a balcony, or an expansive property with room for a forest. The general rule of thumb is to reduce your environmental footprint and give back to the planet in whatever way you can. Make your own Compost As an avid gardener since a young age, here are my five best tips for creating a garden that is a eco- friendly: Compost! There is nothing quite like compost when it comes to eco-friendly gardening. There are as many options when it comes to making use of kitchen and garden waste as there are types of gardens. Bokashi buckets are great for apartments that have window gardens or indoor plants. Worm farms are good for small to mid size gardens including city terraces, and can be placed in office spaces for composting at work. Both Bokashi buckets and worm farms are clean, easy to use and don’t smell. Bigger gardens and homes will want larger composting options – either compost bins or piles. Many councils and environmental organisations run composting workshops if you’re interested in all things compost. Be warned - it’s addictive! Grow Your Own Food. There is nothing quite like vegetables fresh from the garden. Everyone has space to grow food, be it sprouts on a windowsill or a vegetable plot. Besides the benefits of fresh food for our heath, growing food directly affects our ecological footprint in tangible ways by reducing the distance food needs to travel to reach our plates. If we grow food organically and in harmony with our local environment we can increase that positive impact even further. One thing to think about when growing food is where your seeds and seedlings are coming from. I recommend choosing heritage and organic varieties, making sure to avoid genetically engineered stock and ‘terminator’ seeds.
The latter are engineered so that they will not be able to be replanted from year to year without buying new seed stock. The optimal situation is to be able to save seeds and create a self sustained, healthy garden over time. Use Natural Pest Management. The idea pest control is a matter of spraying plants with a chemical is outdated and can be very harmful for the environment. By seeing our gardens as ecosystems we can understand that how we set up our gardens sets the scene for what kinds of pests and predators we will attract. Companion planting combined with healthy soils and homemade pest control sprays and washes will ensure that the majority of damage caused to plants by pests can be avoided. In desperate situations, there are a wide range of relatively eco-friendly and low impact pest controls on the market. Make sure you do your research, and only use what is genuinely necessary. I recommend delving into the world of Permaculture if you’re fascinated by the idea of setting up a self sustaining garden. Plant Native to Encourage Native. Growing plants native to your local area is one of the easiest ways to give back to the Earth. Not only will you find gardening is likely to be simple as a result, but you will hopefully encourage native flora and fauna to flourish. Most local councils will have information on how to do this. See Your Garden as Sacred Space There is no better place than the garden to commune with the earth and the sky, to watch the passing of the seasons and the cycles of life, death and rebirth. Gardens are spaces for meditation and contemplation. Your garden is your piece of sacred land where you can connect directly with the heartbeat of the Earth. They are a source of beauty and sustenance, and provide ways for practical activism at our doorstep. What magic! ow you have your very own mermaid tail, even if you don't here are some extraordinary places you can visit! Some of these places are getting in amongst the watery wonder world of the merfolk. Exploring the depths an experience that will remain with you for your life time. One that will shift your knowledge to new depths of appreciation of all the aquatic inhabitants. Number one place to go in my eyes is with the Oceania Project! This is no normal holiday, you will become a researcher while you are on board the Moon Dancer! This very important work that is done is at Hervey Bay in Queensland. You are out amongst the Humpback whales as they make their journey either up north or back down south depending on what time of year. This is a non-profit organisation that works with the Southern Cross University. Wally and Trish are dedicated to the Conservation and Protection of Whales, Dolphins and the Oceans. your mermaid holiday with them! As I have mentioned before you are doing some good work while you are out for five nights and six days! Some work is of making notes of sightings you come across or coordinates. Other duties are cooking and cleaning but all of this is more than worth this unforgettable trip of a life time. On one of the trips I remember being rocked to sleep with the sound of the male whales singing echoing through the hull. That is something you will never forget! http://www.oceania. org.au/ Another fantastic opportunity to do some good work helping researching the Wild Atlantic spotted and Bottlenose Dolphins of the Bahamas! You get to spend time in the water with the dolphins! Departing with the research crew from Florida on Tuesday mornings then return to Florida 10 days later. There is normally only five to six openings for this trip! Look at their website for more information and contact details http:// www.wilddolphinproject.org/shop/trip-information/.

Becoming part of the research of two-way communication between the dolphins and humans! What a great opportunity for merfolk to be a part of! Back on Australian shores this time further down south is a great swim with the dolphins. This is the Dolphin Within Therapy Research Program, this is open to people of any age. Dr Olivia De Bergerac is an author of The Dolphin Within book and runs these swims. For more information see her website http://www.dolphinsociety.org.au/?page_id=10... You can go and swim with the Humpback Whales if you dare to do so! I know Hervey Bay is looking into doing this but as of yet Australia does not allow this activity. Oh also in QLD is is not allowed to swim with wild dolphins so before you try swimming with any aquatic animals check out rules of your state. Tonga is one place that you can swim with the kings of the sea! The South Pacific Humpback Whales are migrating from their feeding grounds in the Antarctic.
There are many different trips and depending on what one you choose how many days and nights! Take a look at their website for more info. http://www.whaleswim. com/tonga/tours_schedule2013.html . Another magical trip you are unlikely to forget!!!! Roberta Goodman is another person any mermaid should go and see! She lives on the Big Island of Hawaii. Roberta is a very experienced person on dolphins so there is not a better person to put your trust in. She was a cofounder of Cetacean Nation along with Dr John C Lilly. http://www.wilddolphinswimshawaii.com/index.html is her site. Operation Sunshine is a great place it is based in the UK and is for families with special need children. I have not had the chance to experience this but from what I do know about it, it is well worth checking it out! http://www.operationsunshine.org/ It was founded by Dr Horace Dobbs. I cannot go on without mentioning Joan Ocean and Jean-Luc Bozzoli! You have a choice of attending one of their seminars at the Sky Island Rance where they both live near Kailua-Kona. In January you can join Joan's seminar Dolphins, Whales and Our New Timeline! Being not legally allowed to swim with the whales you will be only interacting with them from the boat. This seminar is for seven days! In March is the Dolphins and Whales of Hawaii this is for seven days also. Later part of March is the Dolphins & Time Travel. July is The Portal Seminar. Take a look at her website for more info http://www.joanocean.com/. As with any mermaid adventure you may go on think about ones that are eco or an non-profit organisation that can benefit the mermaids ocean home or the inhabitants. So pack your new mermaid tail and head off on your holiday, remember to take lots and lots of photo's. There is nothing like good photo's of yourself in or out of your tail to make you feel good! The Sacred NO!
f you are someone beginning or continuing their journey on a spiritual path, particularly one that involves ancient traditions of witchcraft or shamanism, you would be possibly seeking education and teachers.I believe that it is of paramount importance to learn from many traditions and a variety of good teachers, particularly at first. It is advice that I not only give but take myself: every year I take dedicated time away to learn more from my elders, other traditional practitioners or teachers. By keeping an open mind and by adopting an attitude of continual learning, my practice grows more deeply connected and more useful to others and myself.
Why you ask? Imagine a kid on his car probation plates being given a formula one racing car to drive, or a young doctor just out of university asked to do a heart transplant… Consider how useful it would be to be asked at your first day at gym in a few years to lift your body weight or do a training session reserved for an elite athlete… Kind of dangerous huh? Discovering the mysteries of and learning the skills involved in a spiritual path is no different.
Let me give you an example. When “The One” TV show first series Today though, I wanted to speak came out it ‘inspired’ a lot of courses of the other side of the coin- the and workshops on mediumship responsibility of being a teacher or and psychic skills. Lots of people wisdom keeper. teaching, lots of information flying about and lots of people really eager Now I remember when I first to learn as much as they could very started investigating a spiritual quickly. Whether it was that the path- I was excited and I wanted to teachers didn’t know where to start know everything NOW. The rush of or the students pushed the teachers curiosity, this awakening that I had finally found something that resonated into teaching too quickly, few curriculums began with what I lightly with me wholeheartedly, made me term the ‘safety demonstration’. super-eager to learn as much as I In almost every skill that I have ever could. At the same time, I had always learnt, metaphysical, sporting or been a fast learner in most things so physical, the tutor normally shows I presumed that this kind of learning you what may go wrong, how to wouldn’t be much different. I was avoid it and if there is a safe way of confident I could find a teacher or two and just suck it all up like a big fat doing a process takes the time to demonstrate this clearly. They ensure sponge.Yup- easily and fast. everyone knows how to do this and Luckily, I found some great teachers who held back information from me. it may even be an examinable topic. Think of sports with a definite risk Yes, you read that right- didn’t give to them: scuba diving, iceclimbing, me all the information I asked for!
even football- there are preventative measures you learn, actual skills and procedures that will keep you safe and normally you aren’t allowed to do the activity unless you are shown them. To crack open your psychic self without knowing how to shield and protect yourself or not know how to ground yourself later is asking for trouble. If you believe enough in energies/spirits/entities/insert your label here, that you wish to communicate with them or receive guidance from them, then surely the possibility of attracting a less than friendly version of these things may have crossed your mind. Or not. It certainly should have crossed a good teachers mind though- the person who has the responsibility of keeping you not only informed but safe. This is why, in my psychic skills workshops and so many others, we teach shielding and grounding techniques (our safety demonstration) prior to anything else. Now here comes the rub- for those students who are super-keen, this stuff is boring. I expect a rolled eye, someone checking their mobile phone for messages, someone taking that opportunity to go to the bathroom when I begin that section of teaching. In the way I teach witchcraft it can often be the samewe start gently on the history, on mythbusting, and then we have a slow reveal of wisdom and skills- but that too can be too tedious for our eagerbeavers. www.goddessguruezine.com

The Sacred No ...cont
etaphysical and indigenous magical practices were never just easily given in the past. Remember there was no internet or google to glean instant information. People were often chosen specifically to hold magical information that was not passed onto any one else, sometimes at birth. The information a learner or novice possessed was strictly controlled for their own safety and the safety of others. One had to reach a level of maturity and psychological solidity to be able to know what to do with the wisdom shared and to not abuse it. Today it’s very different. Today it’s much easier to get information previously only available orally or through a teacher on the net, in books, in short courses in magazines like this or even FB. This society that offers so much information, in my opinion offers at time little wisdom. Often people want all kinds of info spoon fed to them when they need more experience to actually be safe or to even take this information in as its meant to be…as wisdom. There is not a week that goes by that I am (and many other experienced teachers) not in contact with someone who has been damaged by being given or exposed to processes inappropriate for them. I deeply believe good teachers are not just about what they share but what they hold back from you. This can be difficult to take at times. There has to be a degree of trust that they know more than you on a said subject and that there may be a good if not vital reason that they are not sharing “everything” with you yet. Yes, there may be teachers that abuse this power, making it about them, but I feel this is the minority or at least easily spotted. A good teacher may be trying to teach you an important concept like resilience by not just telling you about it but by challenging you to BE so. A good teacher may be asking you to build your self care and self knowledge by refusing you the next difficult ‘stage’ right this minute but encouraging you to keep going till you get there. A good teacher will give you the parameters and the tools but not spoon feed you- as they say learning how to fish is more valuable that being given a fish. 26

Importantly, a good teacher is not your friend – but your teacher- even though their diligence, care and genuine rapport may make them feel like one to you. So if you confuse the two, when your teacher says “no” it can be a shock and there can be anger and resentment. I can tell you I have felt this once or twice in my learning life. At the time I couldn’t believe that I was being refused. In my eyes I had done ‘everything right’. Looking back, I am extremely grateful to these strong teachers that didn’t give in to my cajoling or anger. I know with hindsight that I was not in a place where I could appreciate fully what it was they were trying to teach me. I have now, maybe with age , become much more respectful of the ‘slow reveal’ and am delighted when my elders suggest I am ready for a new stage in my development rather than get upset that it’s not happening fast enough. Humility is a beautiful thing. Have I become friends with any of my teachers? One or two, but it's taken a long time and the formal teaching process is well over. Bottomline, we all have freewill. If you do not feel you are getting what you need from a teacher then, simply voice this calmly and honestly and if it can’t be resolved, find another teacher that suits you better. But it is worth remembering freewill goes the other way too. Teachers can refuse to teach you as is their right. Teachers and elders are human beings too that may not feel comfortable teaching you as an individual. Teachers may decide that right now, this minute, there is a lesson for you to learn before the one you are gunning for, and that’s all they are offering you for whatever reason. Teachers may bravely say ‘no’. And if they do say ‘no’ it may well be the most sacred ‘no’ you will ever experience. Stacey Demarco is The Modern Witch. L
ately we’ve been seeing so many advertisements on tv telling us we should detox! But what is detoxing? Detoxification means removing unwanted, harmful toxins from the body and actively creating a better environment within our body to help prevent build up of toxins in the future. Most of the fad detox programs they advertise on the tv aren’t really focusing on the body as a whole and aren’t as affective as they may seem. One thing I would like to make abundantly clear here is that a detox program should never involve starvation! The body needs nutrients in order to work effectively, so depriving the body of good, nutritious, whole foods is a big mistake!
28
GoddessGuru
www.goddessguruezine.com
There are many types of detox’s. The most effective type that I have seen in my practise as a naturopath has been what is known as a ‘weed, seed, feed’ detox. This is the most thorough way of removing unwanted toxins from your body and creating a stronger, healthier body! Throughout a detox (and even when you're not detoxing) it is a great idea to take a good multivitamin. It is better to get a multi vitamin from a naturopath or health food store with a naturopaths advice as the products sold in chemists and supermarkets are not always the best. Each phase should last around 1 to 2 weeks each. For a more thorough detox you can even do a month per phase!
T
he weed phase is a phase where you weed out the nasties in your body. The ‘bad bugs’ as they commonly call them are the pathogenic or ‘bad’ parasites in your system including bacteria, fungi and worms. These parasites contribute to the release of toxic chemicals in your body! Think about it, if you get rid of these guys, that’s half the battle!! If you no longer have parasites in your system to release toxins into your body, your toxic load in the future would be significantly reduced! The weed phase can be obtained by increasing your immune system to aid your body in eliminating these parasites. Herbs for the immune system as most of you know include Echinacea, Garlic, Astragalus, and products like Colostrum all help to build a healthy immune system. Taking anti-parasitic herbs such as Black Walnut, Wormwood, Thyme, Cinnamon, Barberry, Oregano etc will help kill off the parasites giving a lending hand. Most naturopaths stock these herbs in liquid formulas or even in tablet formulations. During this week or two of weeding, it’s a great idea to also take some kind of super greens to help the detoxification process. I personally recommend a 3 greens blend of Spirulina, Chlorella and Barley Grass. Barley Grass does a similar job to Wheat Grass, only it is far superior at alkalizing the body than Wheat Grass. Chlorella is a chelator so it binds to toxins and heavy metals and eliminates them from the body. Spirulina is almost like a multivitamin in one and all three contain chlorophyll which is a fantastic addition to your detox pantry! The next phase is the ‘seed’ phase. This is just like tending to a garden. The first stage you are taking out all the weeds and pests, this stage you are planting the seeds for new, healthy growth and growing a little garden of Eden (within your body). This phase involves taking a good probiotic and I would also suggest continuing your immune system regime as well as the super greens. Now, when it comes to probiotics, they are not all one in the same. There are many different species and strains of probiotics and some may be more suited to you than others. Most probiotics are derived from animal sources and the body fails to recognise them as well, so the body flushes most of the good bacteria out of the body failing to allow it to colonise. Ask your local health food store if
they stock a probiotic that is made from human sources. It will colonise well within the body and work much better. If you’re in Australia, a product by Wagner called Probiotica 8 is amazing! Finally, we have the feed stage. This is the stage where you feed the eliminatory organs of the body such as the liver, kidneys, skin etc. This can also be obtained by using herbs and nutrition. Dandelion root tea is great for the liver (and the roasted kind is fantastic for coffee addicts!), herbs such as Couchgrass, Buchu, Uva Ursi and Cranberry. One thing that is free and amazing for all eliminatory organs is water so be sure to drink 2-3 litres of water a day. If you’re not one to drink lots of water, start off with 2 litres a day, you don’t want to overload your kidneys. Throughout these stages of your detox it is extremely important to watch what you eat! Detox’s are not about starving yourself, they are about supplying your body with the nutrients it needs to eliminate and heal! Make sure you eat fresh, whole foods such as fruit and vegetables, meat is okay 3 to 4 days a week (try to avoid processed meat) as long as it is organic. Try to buy as much organic produce as possible. It can be costly, but even if you replace just a few items on your grocery list to organic, you’ll be lowering your toxic load significantly! If in doubt, look up the “dirty dozen” of foods in which to always buy organic! There are plenty of recipes online for vegetable juices and smoothies that help make your detox delicious and fun! t’s really not hard to occasionally break down rigid barriers which you may have put up to block the world. Sometimes it is nice to reach out to someone and stop to say “Hello.” Extend your hand and offer a handshake, or a friendly smile, for all smiles are infectious! When you smile at someone the person is inclined to smile back and the energy of love has been exchanged. I want you to think for a moment. Are you a person who finds it difficult to express love to others? If so, in what areas of your life are you now willing to open up in order to give and feel love? Make a list here of all the ways you could spread the energy of love each and everyday.
GRATITUDE Why do you want more? When your life is already full When you have a soul to see The beauty of the world And a heart to tell you the truth It is an important rule to know that where there is greed, there is dishonesty. Where there is dishonesty, there are cruel errors. More often than not a person gains their riches through the squashing and mistreatment of others in order for them to prosper. It’s horrible that people in the world would actually feel the need to do such. There is one thing having a healthy sense of competition, but there is also a fine line that needs to be drawn when someone utilises others to grow financially. For in truth, no amount of money will make you full like acceptance does, and it is this that I want you to focus on here. Be grateful for being you, for the life you have, and all the little things that fill it up and make you happy. Saying “Thank you” on a daily basis makes you feel more full, than counting the amount of zeros that are on your bank statement. Start a gratitude journal to record all the things that bring you joy. The more you thank the universe, the more positive energy you will receive in return.
You can also create a wonderful album filled with photos, drawings, or even magazine cut outs, anything that reminds you of a favourite moment that you are grateful for experiencing. I also love to send people little thank you notes just to show them that they are appreciated, or make up cute and inexpensive gifts to give to people who have touched my life in a positive way. The more you give, the more you receive. The universe recognises this pattern and will eventually pay you back for all your kind and honourable deeds. Be patient, wait, and the rewards will rebound to you like a boomerang. Quiz – Things that make you happy What really makes you happy? What brings joy and laughter to your life? What in particular puts a smile on your face? On some blank paper, write down all the things that really make you happy. Then spend a few minutes working out ways you can show your gratitude for having those things. An example below has been given to help you get started. Example: What makes me happy; How to say "thank you" for these things Eating nutritious food; Bless my food and say a prayer of thanks before eating my meal Being fit; Cook hubby his favourite meal to say thank you for buying me an exercise bike A clean house; Leave milk and honey out for my 'Brownie' Clothes, shoes, girly things Donate some of my items to charity So now it’s Your turn: What makes ‘you’ happy How to say "thank you" for these things...... Shoulder: If a person has a mole on their left shoulder, she is usually apt to be quarrelsome and may insist she is right all the time. She may find her life monotonous and dull. Armpit: If a person has a mole in or around his armpit it means the

Symbol: Tree of Life The Tree of Life or Cosmic tree symbolizes our interconnectedness and ecology of life. It is the ultimate reservoir for the forces of life continually replenishing and regenerating, it is immortality and the origin of life. For me, it represents the entire ecosystem of Mother Earth, protecting, nourishing and recycling life. The symbol shows the trees branches in the Heavens, its trunk in the physical and its roots deep in the Underworld, representing the axis to other realms. The Tree of Life, when worn as a pendant reminds us of the balance between the physical and the spiritual. The branches allow us to soar whilst the roots keep us grounded.
Rune: Kano (Kenaz) Kenaz is the rune associated with wisdom, inner guidance and illumination. Its name literally means torch and this rune promises to light our way in even the darkest of places, assisting us in new discoveries and realizations about ourselves. If this rune appears in your reading, it represents a positive change occurring and the building of new inner strength, but if it should be reversed, it can cast a cloud over matters of self confidence. Wear this rune as a talisman to gain inspiration and creativity and ward of negative thoughts or feelings of despair.

Planet: Pluto
Pluto, known as Hades to the Greek, is the ruler of the Underworld. It is linked with the cycle of life and death and can be a brutal force bringing destruction and change in its wake, but it also brings regeneration and transformation. This planet represents our ability to delve deep into our long forgotten secrets and hidden treasures. Pluto governs power itself, including the struggles between people and countries for domination, and our inner struggle with personal power. It rules the survival instinct and works on the unconscious level, often bringing about what we need long before we realise that we need it.
Crystal: Ruby Ruby has been worn since ancient times to symbolize your position. It has been associated with love, especially faithful passionate commitment and on an emotional level, helps the sharing of loving energy despite past hurts. On a physical level the clear blood red colour of ruby is associated with the base chakra so helps with infections, circulation, heart conditions, menstrual problems and menopause. It is said rubies bring prophetic dreams, banish nightmares and protect your home from intruders. Worn as a necklace, it is said to darken in colour if you’re being lied to.
Tarot: Wheel of Fortune Call it luck, destiny, chance, synchronicity or simply a new direction; the Wheel of Fortune is that bit of unexpectedness that changes the outcome of our goals. Although we are ultimately responsible for shaping our own lives, this card suggests that luck and fortune may come along at any moment to change things, but not to worry as it is often a change for the best. If this card appears in your reading, it can mean that an unexpected solution to a problem will present itself however sometimes the card is a simple reminder of what goes around comes around, and your past actions may be rewarded.
Faerie Salamander
Salamanders are the elemental fire spirits and embody the fiery principle of pure, fearless unrestrained will. They are nature’s little pyros exploring every aspect of fire from the molten magna of a volcano to the white heat of lightening and their quest is to connect with the secret fire that lies at the heart of all things in the natural world. Light a candle and while focusing on the flame, ask the Salamander to burn away your fear and vaporize your troubles. They will happily oblige and in the process will raise your spirit, ignite your passion and kindle a wild and joyful secret fire within your heart.

Check out what may be influencing us overall in the New Year... General Trend: The general trend of a six year is optimism, getting in touch with and operating from the Heart... not just the head! Yes, that means LOVE and all that it initiates; like happiness, joyfulness, sharing, cultivating relationships, selfless service, compassion, kindness, accommodating others, and caring for loved ones in general, even pets, including yourself! All these acts will win you success in varied forms and will be the gentle undercurrent for personal growth, not only in the emotional aspects of your life. It’s definitely a time for cultivating a happier disposition, by creating a more positive outlook in attitudes and behavior towards others. This year brings with it steady progression, adding to your life, not subtracting from it. It is a year for cultivating more love and compassion, while focussing on family, home and feeling happier, brighter and more joyful. Any Success that is gained is usually derived through some form of complete selfless service to others. Its a time to create balance, have more harmony and enjoy the steady flow of life’s natural bounty. There will be a general need to feel more settled within yourself and more secure, both in business and your domestic affairs. This may see
! y l i m a F t u o b a l l a Six years are new plans or adjustments having to be made in your life somewhere. These adjustments bring improvements in their wake. This is not a year for fanfares or big accolades as such, as the undercurrent activities of your everyday life become more paramount in your need to focus. The big picture takes a back seat while everything resettles and is reassessed. Do not worry if some projects seem to slow down, contract in some ways or even feel as though they are standing still. Realize it's what's happening behind the scenes that's all important for you at the moment, its setting better and more grounded foundations for your futures growth. That's gotta be an improvement on last years energy, don't you think? Love and Romance: People in six years simply can't help themselves - they want to feel like they belong somewhere, so they either fall madly inlove, want to tie the knot, or make babies.., so be warned! Amazing love affairs are often forged and it can feel like Spring all year round. The tendency comes from that deep inner need to feel emotionally secure which is more prominent in a six year. Securing our feelings and cementing their outcome will set the tone as to what you seek romantically from love this year.Your heart should start to feel lighter and more buoyant, even ready to be in love again if you have been burned
before. To prevent having your heart broken in the fever of love, it's wise to keep your eyes wide open and allow commonsense to prevail. But love is a leap and everyone can experience the blindness it brings. So the heads up is, be prepared to feel the bite from the LOVE bug sometime this year! Home and Family: Six years are renown for nesting instincts working overtime, so don't be surprised if you get the urge to find that special home, relocate to find harmonious surroundings or procreate the species; Others might feel the need to get a pet to come home to. Redecorating and tizzying up your environment, refreshing everything from the garden to the bedroom may be some of the domestic projects you take on this year. Some may consider buying a new home or helping family members do things with their home. Either way the colour Orange helps you with the creative energy needed to express exactly how you want your decor to make you feel. So go for it, refresh your home with gusto! Work performance: To survive, work wise, you will need to perform. Duty and diligence calls us in a 6 year, so there are no prizes for slacking off. The need for perfection can see you over do it sometimes but details are important.
Progress may seem a bit slow at first, but you will eventually get there. Success comes from opperating more responsibly, honestly and justly. Its heads down and get on with it. Enjoying your work family is important, as you spend usually 8 hours a day with them. Cultivate a happy harmonious environment at work, especially with colleagues. If need be, place plants or crystals in and around your desk, put photos or interesting artwork around to help improve your work environment. Financial flow: Interestingly enough there is more than a good chance of receiving unexpected win falls resulting in large sums of money, or a rise in pay from a job well done this year! But note, strange things happen in six years when it comes to money. Money is made when harmony prevails and disappears if disharmony is created. Watch your thoughts and verbality with all your money or investment dealings. Short term investments are not advised, longer term investments work best this year. Use sound judgement and practical applications, as they will help you gain more financial ground. Be sure to read the small print before you sign anything. You will find things do improve for you overall this year as you slowly build on your successes. www.goddessguruezine.com

January 29-31 * Moon in Virgo Nature has her limits, as does the day, When choosing true confidents, be careful not to dismay. Always choose those with a helpful tick, And a kind careful way. Also, those with a jovial hunch, Are good too if they’re not late to lunch. January 31-February 2 * Moon in Libra Trying to climb the flagpole to wave the flag, To soar to new heights and make your tag… This fame and popularity, gives you peace and clarity, Yet out from the left corner, an unexpected reformer! But he’s on the ground, and you’re much taller… ;)

You want a circle and they want a square… But may you brave to ask ‘how do you dare?’ February 9-11 * Moon in Aquarius A time for adventure, yep it’s on the cards. ‘Tis a tiny endeavour, yet you’ll savour in yards. The teeniest cocoon, will lap in your favour, To do or to doom, you hope will come later. Like the insect, it’s best to protect, Lest you forget, you’ll make prime suspect. ‘Tis the new Moon, when your wings shall bloom, Move over Winter, ‘cos you’re about to make more room! February 11-13 * Moon in Pisces La-di-dee-dee, what can you see? It’s a smart lady bug looking at me! Where did she fly from, who could she be? Underlying this fantasy… you’re still a smarty-tee! You might look like your mind’s in flight, But you still manage to get all the numbers right. About this lethargy… where to find more energy-gee? February 13-15 * Moon in Aries Rhythm, rhyme, and a twist, There’s just one thing you can say to this! Sound ‘yes’ to all things that make you shake… Unless of course, it brings the Earth to quake! Something is plummeting; ending its course, The Sun shines brightly, you won’t remorse. February 15-18 * Moon in Taurus Elegance, grace, and down-to-Earth, Is all it takes, to remember your worth. You may be brown, but do you wear a crown? Get your hands dirty, and you’ll win surely. When at night, you come home to clean, In sparkly-bright, and beautifully you’ll dream.

February 18-20 * Moon in Gemini Pass the time peacefully; bliss yours truly... Songs, words and music, to mend wounds you lick. It’s like an Angel passes you by, Releasing dust for you midflight. Although half and half it may seem; rockets versus a wondrous dream, From the view of dust sprinkles, follow if it musically twinkles. February 20-23 * Moon in Cancer Your moody blues may shine quite bright, For there’s no shade of darkness in sight. Perhaps at a glance, you’ll squirm by chance, An unexpected squeak, may make your heart skip a beat… But the general scheme is happy and clean, And rosy views of the future can be seen. February 23-25 * Moon in Leo There’s a high tide in sight, yet you have your flight. To somewhere unexpected you will stop by night. It’s the errings and the awkward that will stop you moving forward, Keep moving briskly upward, as long as it’s nature-lawed. February 25-28 * Moon in Virgo Beneath the full Moon, you better watch your step, There’s a kind-of haze, so to the ground do check. From your heart are bubbles… waiting for release, Do emotions frighten you? Better call the police. But from a more serious end, bubbles are harmless, And emotions – a friend. February 27-28 * Moon in Libra Upon a search for peace and harmony, Find a resting place quietly beneath a tree. With winds of uncertainty, blowing against your face, Do turn to the tree, for a calming warm embrace.

lessing others in your life will change your life. No matter how big or small the blessing you will be blessed by being a blessing. It may come from an entirely different person or circumstance but when you sow a seed of blessing you will be blessed in return. In one of my favourite books “Discover The Power Within” by Eric Butterworth there is a quote by Charles Fillmore that says “God is the source of a mighty stream of substance, and you are a tributary of that stream, a channel of expression. Blessing the substance increases its flow. To give you an understanding of how this can work try consider this, if your money supply is low or your purse seems empty, take it in your hands and bless it. See it filled with the living substance ready to become manifest. Do this with everything in your life and you’ll see your world become blessed with blessing”.
