Join us for pizza and crafts! Learn how to paint, draw and create cool pieces with air dry clay. We will even make a duct tape accessory! Pizza and beverage is included at both classes and will be served from 5:30-6pm.

“Totally Crafty� classes are held once per month, for boys and girls in grades K-5. Classes average 3-5 projects based on a monthly theme.

Minecraft is the game phenomenon focused on creativity and building, allowing players to build environments out of textured cubes in a virtual 3D world. Using iPads and the Minecraft App, your child will learn, or expand, their knowledge of the game.

Loom Band Bracelets

Have you joined the Loom Band movement yet? Learn how to make a rubber band bracelet without the use of a rainbow loom. The basic style of bracelets will be taught, along with additional patterns for the advanced bracelet maker. This hands-on clinic for students in grades 5-8, includes activities that focus on basic first aid, fire and weather safety, child development and parent expectations. Each participant will receive a certificate after successfully completing this two hour course. No discounts.

Emergency Outfitters Staff

First Aid and Safety Trained (F.A.S.T.) Kids is a 6-hour course for 7-10 year olds. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, personal safety and healthy living. This course helps prepare children for staying at home alone. Students will receive a book and build a home first aid kit. All materials included in fee.

Boost your self esteem and take some time to honor yourself! Using upbeat techniques, Trish will teach age appropriate skin care, healthy lifestyle habits, and how to do your own manicures/pedicures. During this one day class we’ll cover the basics of becoming a young lady, while having fun and discovering the true beauty within. Glam Girl Adult/Child, Age 4-Grade 3

If you want to learn to style your daughter’s hair for special occasions, or just for fun, you won’t want to miss this class. You’ll practice braiding, making a bun, or even an up-do. Feel free to bring in a photo of a hairstyle that you would like to do! Then you’ll paint nails together and learn about skin and nail care. Fencing

Tae Kwon Do is a great way for children to learn confidence, leadership and discipline. In this introductory course, students will learn the basics of martial arts. Along with learning the foundation of the kicks, blocks and strikes, students will also learn focus and respect, all while having fun!

Get ready to face your foe in mano-a-mano matches that will test your strength, speed, discipline and desire. New students will learn the basics of fencing, while returning students take it up a notch and hone their skills in preparation for local tournaments (TBA). During the spring session, you’ll get pumped and prepped for an optional, end-of-year tournament. Fencing classes improve dexterity, speed, quickness and focus. SAFETY is our first priority. You read it right. Build a clown face and use pulleys to rotate his facial expressions from happy, to sad, to knocked out. Build a crane and use it to hoist other LEGOS. Students build multiple LEGO projects and use those projects to investigate basic pulley concepts including: direction of rotation, increased speed, fixed pulleys, a movable pulley system, and compound pulleys. We may even try to build the world’s longest conveyor belt made of LEGOs at the last class! How cool is that? At MHES: #2605 Tue $43

Mind-blowing myths or scientific facts? Join Science Explorers to confirm or bust strange myths and wacky urban legends. Ask crazy questions, develop hypotheses, then smash it, crash it, sink it or launch it! Then we’ll determine if the myth is confirmed, plausible or busted. At PV: #2613 Wed $36

Where has my little dog gone? Little Buddy was dognapped! Now that the ransom has been paid and he is safely home, we will examine the evidence and catch the culprit. We’ll provide the pizza and childcare so YOU can connect with other parents about the joys and challenges of parenting that we all experience. Casi Olson will guide discussion as you learn from her and other parents. Get tips and explore ways families can spend quality time together. Casi has shared her expertise with many parents. Grandparents and professionals are also welcome. Pizza will be served from 6:00-6:30pm and childcare is available for ages 3-12 during the parenting presentation from 6:30-7:45pm.
