Where: New Orleans When: April 6-11 Cost: $125.00 Who: Open to all adults (men and women). Basic construction skills helpful. This is a construction based trip; however, we look for opportunities to share our faith as we come in contact with individuals each day. It has been more than 8 years since Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area and there is still much work to be done in parts of the city. We will travel to New Orleans in our church vehicles and will be housed at Celebration Church. We will be working at All Nations Fellowship. This church was started post-Katrina and many of the start-up core group was young people who came to New Orleans as volunteers to help with the cleanup work in the early days. This will be our fifth year to work at All Nations. We have seen the church grow from a very small group (less that 20) to a congregation of more than 130. Being able to connect with old friends is one of the blessings of the trip. Team Leader: Tommy Johnston tommyjohnston@ssfbc.org
