UNSW CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP INDUCTION CEREMONY On Friday evening, 8th March, Margarita Psaras, from our 2018 HSC class, was inducted into the UNSW Co-op Scholarship program in a ceremony held at Leighton Hall in their Scientia building. This prestigious scholarship program, worth over $18000 per year of study, will allow Margarita to undertake internships with some of Australia’s leading companies whilst studying for her B. Actuarial Studies. Congratulations Margarita! We look forward to hearing about her future endeavours as well as those of all our past students. To get in, you’ll need to demonstrate how you stand out from the crowd. You’ll be assessed on these key criteria:  Your application form  A face-to-face industry interview at UTS  Your Selection Rank Successful students generally achieve a Selection Rank of 85 - 99.95; however, your ATAR is just one component of your application. The interview is your chance to show your passion for technology, your involvement in extracurricular activities, your communication and interpersonal skills and your desire to carve out a career as a senior leader in your field. Please note: applications for 2020 are open from 4 March - 8 September 2019. Interviews will be held in early October at UTS, Ultimo. How to apply Applying for the BIT is a multi-step process. ACU Community Achiever Program The Community Achiever Program (CAP) was previously named the Early Achievers’ Program (EAP). The program offers future students who are active in their community early entry to their undergraduate course of choice. It also provides opportunities to enhance leadership and volunteering skills. We want to help shape the next generation of pilots and that’s why we’re establishing the Qantas Group Pilot Academy. Working in groups, students complete activities in the roles of different creatives and STC staff, and present their ideas in informal presentations.
