During the day, they listened to current university students about their experiences in their engineering courses and the achievements of past students, as well as hearing about all the other different engineering courses on offer. The students then participated in three different workshops, including Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The students conducted themselves in a mature and enthusiastic manner, eagerly undertaking challenges and hands-on activities and observing some exciting research projects. They found the day very informative and worthwhile and it increased their interest in engineering as a future career.
