Notre Dame Early Offer Applications Closing Soon The Notre Dame’s Early Offer Program closes next week on Tuesday 31st July. If you wish to apply, or haven’t yet finished your application for the Early Offer Program, you can: · email it to early.offer@nd.edu.au · deliver it to the Admissions Office: ground floor, 140 Broadway, Chippendale, NSW 2007. · post it (postmarked on or before 31 July) Applicants will be interviewed for their degree and the University aims to make offers to successful applicants in the first week of October. Any applicant who does not receive an Early Offer does not need to apply again. The University will automatically include their application in further offer rounds. Students can apply in one or both of the categories: 1. Academic Achievement and/or 2. Years 10 to 12 students and parents are welcome. The event will be held at Ascham School in the Barnet Lecture Theatre in the Centre for the Sciences at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. The evening will conclude by 8.00pm. The intention of this evening is to provide Year 10, 11 and 12 students and their parents with an opportunity to meet representatives from a range of international tertiary institutions from North America, UK, Asia and Europe. Education USA will be delivering a seminar about the USA application process. This event will be held at Ascham School, 188 New South Head Road, Edgecliff with easy access directly across the road from Edgecliff train station and Edgecliff Shopping Centre with 2 hours free parking. This event will be free and registration is essential. The Trybooking registration link will open on Tuesday 24 July, details to be advised.

There are three training pathways to becoming a paramedic with NSW Ambulance:   

Trainee Paramedic (Vocational ) pathway Paramedic Intern (Graduate) pathway Qualified Paramedic pathway.

1. Trainee Paramedic (Vocational entry) Applicants who have no prior medical experience can apply for the Trainee Paramedic (vocational entry) role. Through the Trainee Paramedic vocational entry training pathway, you will undertake the nationally-accredited Diploma of Paramedical Science over three years, delivered by the NSW Ambulance Education Centre, Rozelle, Sydney. A minimum of 8 weeks training is undertaken at NSW Ambulance before going out on road. For a copy of the Role Description please click here. Trainee Paramedic (Graduate entry) Applicants who have completed a Council of Ambulance Authorities accredited tertiary qualification in paramedical science or are in their final year of studying this qualification are welcomed to apply for the Graduate Paramedic entry pathway. A minimum of 5 weeks training is undertaken at NSW Ambulance before going out on road. Accredited courses can be found through the Council of Ambulance Authorities. Qualified paramedic Qualified applicants who have an accredited paramedical science qualification and can demonstrate satisfactory knowledge and understanding of ambulance practice can apply to NSW Ambulance as a qualified paramedic.
