YEAR 10 CAREERS TESTING OPPORTUNITY A reminder to parents of Year 10 students about the online Morrisby careers test, being held on Thursday 21st March. There was a technical hitch with payment through Flexischools, however it is all working well now. If you are interested in your child doing the test, please return the reply slip to the front office once payment has been made through your Flexischools account. Replies are due by 19th March. Thank you. UPCOMING EVENTS FOR MACQUARIE UNI Express your interest for upcoming events 17 & 18 April – Macquarie in a Day Uni life doesn’t have to be a mystery. We’re opening our doors to Year 11 and Year 12 students for the chance to taste what a day in the life of a Macquarie student is really like. 1 May – Year 12 Information Evening We’ll take you through our early entry program, courses, scholarships, pathway options and give you the opportunity to speak one-on-one with course advisers. Parents are encouraged to attend. 7 May – Year 10 Subject Selection Evening Find out about how your subjects for the HSC can impact your university studies. We’ll address adjustment factors, assumed knowledge, university admission and scholarship processes. 26 June – Year 12 Information Evening (city campus) We’ll take you through our early entry program, courses, scholarships, pathway options and

Thursday 4 April 2019; Tuesday 7 May 2019; Thursday 16 May 2019 Register now SYDNEY UTAS (UNIVERSITY OF TASMANIA) – MEDICAL PROGRAMS Darlinghurst - The University of Tasmania's Darlinghurst campus offers Nursing within the School of Health Sciences offers the two year fast track Bachelor of Nursing course through the Darlinghurst campus in partnership with the St Vincent's and Mater Health Services. Rozelle - UTAS offers Bachelor of Paramedic Practice and this course is supported by the Ambulance Service of New South Wales. The School of Medicine at the Rozelle campus aims to provide the community with sound, comprehensive out-of-hospital care through the development of paramedic students conversant in the field of paramedic practice. The University's School of Health Sciences offers the fast track two year Bachelor of Nursing course through the Rozelle campus in partnership with the Sydney Local Health District, South Western Sydney Local Health District, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. UNDERGRADUATE MEDICINE ENTRY: UCAT Dates 2019 University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT ANZ) The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is an admissions test used by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand for their medical, dental and clinical science degree programmes.

The UCAT ANZ test will replace the UMAT (Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test) from 2019 (for university entry in 2020). Candidates taking the UCAT in 2019 for entry to study undergraduate medicine at universities in Australia and New Zealand in 2020 should note these key dates: Registration and booking opens
