Always wanted to know how the Dutch school system works? Then you’re at the right page! I will explain how the Dutch school system works, how you choose your secondary school and my experience with choosing a school.

After that, he/she can continue to get a HBO Bachelor’s degree. That contains not only theoretical, but also practical activities. If he/she completes the HBO Bachelors course, he/she can continue studying for a Master’s degree. The duration of the HBO Bachelors study program is 4 years, and the duration for the HBO Masters study program is 1-2 years. If he/she completes the HBO Bachelors course, then he/she will also have the option to study for a WO Bachelor’s degree. Last but not least is VWO.

School The school system in the Netherlands is actually quite easy to understand. If we look to the education system, we see that the Netherlands has a pretty good ranking in the list of best education systems in the world the past years. In the Netherlands, it is mandatory to attend school from the age of 4-5, until the age of 16.

VWO is a 6 year long education with theoretical knowledge. VWO is the highest level of secondary education. VWO prepares students for the university. After VWO, a pupil can go to the university and study for a WO Bachelor’s degree. He/she will get theoretical knowledge and the duration is 3 years.

The school system of the Netherlands As I said, children from the age of 4-5 are obligated to go to school. They will go to the primary school for 8 years. After that, he/she can continue to one of the 3 different types of secondary education, depending on the pupils level. The 3 different types are: VMBO, HAVO and VWO, with VMBO being vocational and VWO being academic. VMBO takes 4 years and they will mostly learn practical things, but there is another type of VMBO called VMBO-TL (At Sintermeerten we use the word MAVO) . MAVOL is the theoretical form of VMBO. After that, he/she can go to MBO. The duration of MBO is between 0,5 and 4 years. MBO prepares students for work, or a work-related study program. Let’s go to HAVO. HAVO is a 5 year long education with theoretical knowledge that prepares pupils for studying in higher professional education.

After that, a student can continue studying for a WO Master’s degree and do a PhD (Doctorate). The duration of the WO master study program is 1-3 years, and the duration of the PhD is 4 years. This is the school system of the Netherlands.

Choosing a school I explained the school system of the Netherlands. I will now explain how to choose a secondary school In the last year of primary school, a pupil needs to choose a secondary school for the next 4, 5 or 6 years, depending on the pupils level. Before choosing a school, you will get an advice letter from your primary school. 1

On that it will say which level you’ve got, depending on the results of the tests you’ve made. To make such of a big decision, we have the open days and we have days were we can attend a lesson, only for 8th graders. For example the ‘Masterclasses’ on the Sintermeertencollege. We needed to sign ourselves up for the Masterclasses, online. There are many options to choose from, so sometimes, it’s quite difficult to choose the best school for yourself. After you made a decision, you will have a talk with your primary teacher and your parents . There you will sign yourself up for the school you’ve picked out. Then you will get some letters from your new school after a few weeks. Then you’re ready to go!

My experience My experience was not that special, but here is my experience with choosing a school: In January/February, you will get some tests. These tests are very important, because they indicate which level you will get. My tests were pretty good. My advice from the teacher was VWO. After that, I started to search for a school. I had 3 secondary schools in mind. The Bernardinuscollege, Eijkhagen and Sintermeertencollege. I first visited Bernadinus. We got a tour around the school and we attended a lesson. In the lesson, I felt that I didn’t like the school that much. So bernadinus was off my mind. Then I visited Eijkhagen. It was so much fun there. I liked the school very much, but then I went to the Sintermeertencollege. I didn’t know why, but I liked the school so much! It was even better than Eijkhagen. So at the ‘Oudergesprekken’, I chose Sintermeerten, and TTO (bilingual education). And now I am here, at the Sintermeertencollege.

Conclusion If you understand the school system here, then it’s actually pretty easy. Here are some tips for the 8th graders here: If you want to choose a school, just choose where you feel the best. If you cannot choose (like me last year), just write all the great and bad things of the schools on a paper. Or ask your teacher or parents for help. They will be glad to help you choosing the best school for you!

TTO what is that? TTO stands for ´Tweetalig onderwijs´ which means bilingual education. It's basically a Dutch education program were all lessons are given in English except for Dutch and French. This is very handy because almost everyone in the world speaks English and if you know it very well you can make your career international in the future. Also, you can get into more universities especially English universities. One of the surprising perks is that it makes the lesson less boring and you pay more attention because you already know Dutch, but English is new so it's more interesting.

Was it hard to learn the subject you chose to teach in English? No, I always loved English, so I decided to become an English teacher and also teach English to bilingual pupils. Do you think constantly speaking English will have effect on your Dutch? I don’t think so because there is actually proof that at the end of the school year your skills in Dutch will be higher than the pupils in regular classes, but your Dutch will definitely not be worse.

Interviews

Why are the end exams in Dutch? Well, the people who are in charge don’t want English exams yet, but they are talking a lot about it and I think it is because they are scared the Dutch language won't be as important anymore.

We chose to do an interview because than you have different perspectives about TTO and know how it is to be a TTO teacher. We interviewed TTO coordinator/TTO English teacher Mr. van Roekel:

Why do you think speaking English well is important? Because it will be easier to do a lot of things like watching movies and reading articles.

Why did you choose to become a TTO teacher? Because they were looking for TTO teachers and they asked me, and I thought it was pretty cool.

What is the most common reason that students choose TTO? Because they want to speak English and go on the fun trips we do. đ&#x;˜‰đ&#x;˜‰

What do you think it is better/more fun to teach in English than in Dutch? You can do more with English, and I think its cooler and better.

Are there lot of students that choose to switch to a regular class? No, I've been doing this for 7 years now and only about 5 pupils have switched to Dutch classes.

Why do you think it’s important for children to choose TTO? They should choose TTO if they want to become good at English, if they would like to find out more about the world and if they want to become an even cooler person. Do you think that TTO is better for your future? Yes, because if you want to study after sintermeerten, it will be easier because a lot of educational programs are now in English. Also, if you don't do anything with TTO afterwards, you will be able to talk to people all over the world easier and better. I just think it will help everyone even if you don’t do anything with TTO afterwards. 4

Interview with geography teacher Mrs. Schoonbrood: Why did you choose to become a TTO teacher? I always wanted to be a teacher. When I got the opportunity to become a TTO teacher, I really liked that I also really liked learning other languages. What do you think it is better/more fun to teach in English than in Dutch? I don't think it's better or more fun, but the fun thing about TTO is getting better at English and being able to use that later.

Thursday the 6th of June, we went to Canterbury in England. We had to be at school around 3 o’clock,

Was it hard to learn the subject you chose to teach in English? No, I don't think so because the basics are the same only the names are different but in Dutch we also use a lot of English names.

that was pretty early and our trip to Canterbury by bus started at half past three midnight. Everyone was very excited. We drove three/four hours to Calais that was where we had to hop on the ferry but first, we needed to go through the passport control.

Do the pupils doing the TTO course perform worse than the pupils taking the regular course because of the English? No, TTO is of course harder than the regular course but eventually TTO pupils don't perform worse.

Once on the ferry, we had some drinks and food there and there was a shop and some restaurants. Also, almost everyone had Starbucks on the ferry it was delicious. Then we went back on the bus and drove to Dover. There we had a tour through tunnels

Do you think there are benefits to being a TTO teacher? Yes, there are more activities outside school and there are more practical assignments

that were built in the second world war. It was quite impressing. it was an underground hospital. After that we went to the castle of Dover and we made some exercises there. Then we drove to Canterbury

Well this is what we and the teachers think about TTO. We hope you now understand what TTO is and maybe you would like to choose TTO as well!

and we went to the Cathedral there. When went inside we got some explanation about what happened there in that church and the story about Thomas Becket made also quite an impression. Once we were finished in the cathedral, we went to the city itself and had some free time left so we could explore the city and so that we could eat and shop some things of course. Then we hopped on the ferry again and drove back home. When we drove back home almost everyone was sleeping because it was such a nice, fun and long day. 5

Before you can actually go to the regional rounds you first have to be chosen by your own school to represent the school. It is up to schools to decide upon the selection criteria/ the judging procedure. At Sintermeertencollege we all got told about the topic and worked in class together with an English teacher (in my case Ms. Arnolds) who helped us and gave us tips while writing our speeches. When all lessons were over, we had to recite our speech in front of the whole class. The best speakers were chosen to represent our school. I got chosen to represent the third year students. Last year I also represented the second year students, back then I got first runner up (which you could considerate a second place), I really wanted to go again, so you could imagine I was very happy to be chosen again. Li Na de Bree was chosen to represent the second years. Before I start my experience of the Junior speaking contest (which took place Tuesday the 12th of March), I will firstly briefly explain what this is and the stuff that happened before that.

On the actual day of the regional rounds, I had to follow my first 4 school lessons. This was because the contest would start at 12:30 the ‘walk in’ would start. After these 4 hours I cycled back home so that I could drive with my parents to Eijkhagen college, which is where this year’s regional round would be held. When we arrived we were led to the right place in the school by someone, I assume a student from the school, although I’m not 100% sure. There I sat with down, by the same table as Li Na, and waited for the contest to start. Ms. Arnold, Mrs. Heuter and Mr. van Roekel were there as well to support us. At 13:00 the opening started, the people from the question panel were introduced. We were also introduced to our host, who immediately started asking the first speaker up to the stage. There were 8 contestants and Li Na was 7th. The speeches were very good, but I didn’t really focus on all of them because I was way too nervous for my own speech!! However, I did really pay attention to Li Na’s speech. I think she did amazing!! Her speech was called ‘Get off your phone’, and was really good. The first part of the day was ended with a song sang by one of the students from Eijkhagen. She sang ‘Flashlight’ from Jessie J.

So the Junior speaking contest is a contest where second and third year students in participate. They have to recite their speech for the audience, the question panel and of course the jury. This speech is written by the students themselves, and should be about a certain theme. This year the theme was ‘What makes the world go round’. A speech should last around 3 minutes. It can only be 30 seconds shorter or longer. After 2,5 minutes a flag will be raised by the timekeeper, which means that a speaker has 60 seconds left. If the contestant has not finished after 3,5 minutes, the timekeeper will make a sound to indicate that the time is over. After the speech a contestant will have to answer two questions relating to his or her speech. The questions are asked by one of the members of the Question Panel (QP) or by the members of the jury if you do not have a QP. Remember: you should not underestimate the handling of the questions, so a separate QP might be handy as the group of speakers is quite big. The quality/extent of the answers of the speaker will show how well he/she controls his/her subject.

After all second years were done, we had a break of 30 min.. After this break the third years would start. I was so nervous!! I had to go first after the break and spend my whole break rereading and repeating my speech! I wish I hadn’t! because now I haven’t tasted anything from the sweets buffet on the table apart from ONE cheese stick!! What a shame! After the break I was asked to the stage right after the judges returned from their own break. They were a bit late, but I didn’t mind. It only meant I had more time for last minute practicing. I don’t remember a lot from my speech, honestly. I think it were the nerves combined with the adrenaline… the only thing I remember is that I didn’t forget parts and that the questions went well. When the other third years held their speeches I felt really bad! Not for them, their speeches were so good! I felt really bad for myself, BECAUSE their speeches were so good!! I remembered one girl. She competed last year with me in the second years, she remembered me too. I had a nice time talking to her again. When the last contestant finished, there was another sing performance, this time from a younger girl. I was stunned by her singing. She sang ‘Shallow’ from lady Gaga and Brady Cooper. How can such a sound come from such a small body!? Then there was a small break in which the judges would decide who the winners were. It was very nerve wrecking, in my opinion. What was even worse was that the buffet from the last break, WASN’T there!! I mean, come on! I really wanted to try those sweets. Luckily I didn’t have to think about that for too long, because the judges returned just a few minutes later. All second years were asked up to the stage and where everyone received a certificate and small trofie. The winner also received a bouquet of flowers. After that it was the turn of the third years. We went through the same process, only this time the judges realized they had to select a first runner up as well (which they had also forgotten with the second years). It was very funny in my opinion, for the judges had to hold a speed consultation over who that would be. Although it was very unfortunate both Li Na and me didn’t place, I had a nice time!!

Everyone thought that they were betrayed nobody knows who did it. Anne Frank and her sister Margot went to Auswitz-Birkenau after they went to BergenBelsen. Anne Frank got typhus, She didn’t eat much and she didn’t shower so she got a bacteria. Anne Frank died in February 1945, the day after Anne Frank died her sister because of typhus. A few weeks after they died Bergen-Belsen got liberated, the mom of Anne and Margot got detained in Auswitz. Edith died because of starvation, the war stopped in 1945. Anne Frank, Margot Frank and the mother died, only the dad of Anne Frank Otto survived. When Otto Frank turn back from Birslfilden, he got the diary that Anne wrote when they were on the back house. Miep Gies keep them so she could give it back when they would return, Otto Frank went to the publishers and the book got publish in 1947. Otto was really proud of Anne that she got so big and far with her diary. Otto hoped that everyone would read the diary of Anne Frank, And everyone has read it. It is 2019 now and it is still a bestseller, the book is still popular and I think it will always be. Because the book is out of the second world war, and it is about how someone lived for two years in the back house. And that is really special to read.

Hello I’m Demi and in going to tell you something about Anne Frank so just keep reading. Anne Frank was a girl from Frankfurt(Germany). She was a Jew, Adolf Hitler hated Jews. He thought that Jews were a threat to the humanity. But I don’t get why he wanted the Jews death, because his mom was a Jew too and he was a half Jew. He thought that Jews had everything what they didn’t had. After a few months Jews weren’t allowed jo come to the swimming pool, the cinema and after a half year they weren’t allowed to the library or the beach. They weren’t to call, and restaurants and cafés were hanging signs that they weren’t allowed to come in. Anne Frank and her family and other Jews needed to wear a yellow star on their clothes. When the second world war started was Adolf Hitler“ hunting“ on Jews. He wanted that the Jews going to work for him, so Anne Frank and her family and a few friends went shelter for Hitler and his helpers. They went to the back house, Anne Frank had a diary she named it Kitty. She wrote everything in it what happened that day and what they did that day. They were in the back house for two years, every day they needed to sit still. On the fourth of August 1944 they were found, and there were four people who knew that they were sheltered in the back house : Miep Gies, Bep Voskuijl, Johannes Kleiman and Victor Kugler. They gave the Jews who was sheltered, enough food, drinks and the kids gave them schoolbooks. After two years they were found because someone told it to the Grune Polizei. 8

I am going to investigate if UK police officers should carry guns. My own opinion is YES they do need to carry guns because people should trust the police in need of any situation.

Do the police officers want to carry guns? There has been an investigation about it and 4 out of the 5 says NO. According to an investigation for the citizens 47 percent of them says yes. Many in favour of armouring the police think that they can protect themselves against dangerous criminals and they van protect the public. But critics such as an important UK police chief say that armouring police will put officers in more danger. Because criminals will then carry also guns.

The vast majority of UK police officers don't carry guns. Why don't they carry guns? Giving everyday police officers guns, sends the wrong message to the people. It has been proven that UK police officers shot less people than American police officers. For instance, in the year up to March 2016 police in England and Wales only fired seven bullets!

History of UK police firearms The British bobby (Another word for British police officers) never carried a firearm with them. They normally carried a baton and handcuffs. As for the female officers also didn’t carry guns with them. But not all police officers are not armed in the UK. Nowadays all officers in Northern Ireland are armed with guns. Male members of the Northern Ireland’s police force have been armed from the beginning. The female officers were armed from of 1993.

How can UK police officers do their job without a gun? UK police officers mostly rely on other materials such as batons, stun guns and handcuffs. UK police officers also say that their main weapon is talking. Are all UK police officers not armed? The answer is No, some do have guns such as: swat units, armed patrol units and more.....

Conclusion UK police officers shoot less people than in other countries and most of them do carry a stun gun for example. But it is still dangerous to not carry a gun do to the rising crimes where gun violence is included. Thanks for reading my story.

Did you know that UK police officers have other tactics than other armed police officers in other countries? Because most of them are not armed they have other tactics. Specially trained officers can use a new pursuit tactic. This tactic is used for criminals that are on a scooter or motor. They may ram the thieves of their vehicles. The officers say that this prevents injury for the criminals themselves, for the public and for the police officers.

They are also in contact with Tommy. One of the boys who beat up and kicked Tommy in a park on Friday, his home address and telephone number appeared on social media on Monday and Tuesday. His data is distributed by various fake accounts. He would initially have shared his data on Facebook. "Everyone is threatening me, but nobody is doing anything so my address here," the message said. Especially on Instagram a number of fake accounts of the boy have been created. Under photos on those accounts are hundreds of angry responses and threats. Other addresses of the perpetrators of violence also circulated on social media.

On January the 18th a boy in Spijkenisse was mistreated. The video has gone viral on the internet. the police have done similar research on this. The message causes huge anger in the Netherlands. Many well-known Dutch support the abused boy.

police surveillance at suspect's house In front of the house of one of the suspects there is police surveillance, this is because one of the suspects has put his address online. Everyone must identify themselves in the street in the neighbourhood of Spijkenisse. According to the police, the family went into hiding.

The 14 year old boy; Tommy, has been mistreated by 6 boys. Beforehand there was already a quarrel going on, Tommy had then agreed to fight with one boy but the other boy came with a large group they were in total with 6 boys. 2 boys of this group have done the most damage. The rest were to encourage the 2 boys. You can clearly see on the video how 1 of the perpetrators gets even worse, he curses, shouts and hits with a flat hand. The bystanders go along with this, they wanted to see more.

Campaign for Tommy Residents of the Waterland district in Spijkenisse have started a card campaign for the 15-year-old boy who was abused last Friday. "I did not expect so many responses," said Sylvia Kats from the Waterland Spijkenisse Foundation. The local website Spieke.nl reacted with horror to the video showing how a group of boys beat up Tommy. They were soon asked for an address to support Tommy. Sylvia Kats has given the address of the foundation. Massive numbers of cards were sent. Tommy also responds to all the support he has received and lets him know that he is now doing well.

The fight Tommy was beaten up in a park near Kikkerveen. On the video you can see how the boy works with the curls to a rhythm of violence. Tommy calls at a certain moment that his nose bleeds and he wants to stop the fight. This creates even more aggression among the perpetrators. The perpetrator wants to finish the fight and continues the fight. Tommy eventually ends up in the bushes, a bike is also thrown on him. After the fight, Tommy has a broken nose, bruises and a torn ear.

Own judge Mayor Govert Veldhuijzen of the municipality of Nissewaard, which includes Spijkenisse, calls the abuse horrible, also because the images of it have been placed on social media. He previously warned at RTV Rijnmond for a beating on the perpetrators of the abuse. One of the suspects himself published his home address on social media on Monday. "Everyone is threatening me, but nobody is doing anything so my address," he wrote according to RTV Rijnmond. The message has since been deleted. Other addresses of the perpetrators of violence also

Police is taking action The police immediately took action when they saw the video in which Tommy was abused. The police let them know that they have started investigations and that 2 boys aged 14 & 16 have been arrested. The other 3 suspects were arrested by the police on Tuesday evening.

circulated on social media. In the De Akkers district, the abuse led to a tense atmosphere. A police car is standing in front of the house of one of the suspects. The family is said to have gone into hiding. Passersby and neighbourhood residents must identify themselves in the street, reports RTV Rijnmond.

What the police did after the fight The police immediately started an investigation on Monday and arrested two more suspects that same evening. The four others were arrested the following days. The investigation is still in full swing, the Public Prosecution Service reported Friday. The suspects who remain behind bars for the time being are the two boys who would have used the most violence.

The police were able to speak with the victim on Monday. The boy caught a broken nose, bruises and a torn ear. He would be fine under circumstances. Residents of the Waterland district where the mistreatment took place launched a card campaign to lend a hand to the boy and his family. The cards and gifts would now flow in.

how it goes now tommy is doing well and the perpetrators are very sorry. the perpetrators will be in jail for a while but they have promised that if they are out of jail they will not do it anymore.

Social media posts of the perpetrators Social media now contains the address details and personal details of the perpetrators. "I find it really worrying that all sorts of data are distributed on social media, which almost invite you to play in your own court," the mayor says. "I would really urge you not to do that. Get it off social media and leave the case to the police.

(sorry, it’s only in Dutch) 11

Why the yellow vests as symbol? No one knows how the clearly-visible, yellow vest became the symbol for the movement, and no one has claimed to be its originator. The movement started with French motorists from rural areas who had long commutes protests against an increase in fuel taxes, wearing the yellow vests that, under a 2008 French law, all motorists are required to keep in their vehicles and to wear in case of emergency. The symbol has become “a unifying thread and call to arms “. Because the yellow vests are easy to wear over any clothing, highly visible and widely understood as a distress signal. As the movement grew to include grievances beyond fuel taxes, nonmotorists in France put on yellow vests and joined the demonstrations.

Not only France but also the rest of the EU The protests are now not only about France anymore. They are complaining about the EU now to. ‘'We have to find our independently and be heard, we want politicians to really represent us, and not just the European lobby and the financial world.’' This is what one of the demonstrators said. The movement is not left and not right, anti-system, anti-elite and nationalistic. ‘We have the impression that Macron does everything Europe asks of him. And he explains that to us, we do not want a European dictate of the economic and financial world, we want to be represented, the president must represent the people and the interests of the people.’ That is also what was said by one of the demonstrators.

Maybe you heard ones about it, but in France there are movements against the president from France, Macron, Emmanuel Macron. The content on which the French movement centred at first was the projected 2019 increase in fuel taxes, especially on diesel fuel and later the yellow vest became the symbol of the protests, as the French are required to have a yellow vest in their vehicles. Emmanuel Macron became president from France at May 14th, 2017. Macron increased the prices of fuel. The French were very mad and furious. The demonstrations started on the 17th of November 2018. This movement is motivated by rising fuel prices, high costs of living, and claims that are disproportionate burden of the government’s tax. They want the president dead because of these high costs. Also in the Netherlands and Belgium demonstrations have taken place. But they did one thing that they shouldn’t have done. They stopped a truck, but he didn’t want to stop, so he kept riding very slowly. Then they hit the truck with a baseball bat. They broke the windows and then he carefully drove straight through the people. The people were throwing with car tires, so he thought he drove over a car tire. That wasn’t right. He accidentally drove over a person.

Street demonstrations There are also people who go on the streets to demonstrate. for example, the Champs- elysees. First there were not many problems with that, but that has changed. Last they went on the streets again. There was a very long traffic jam. A police car drove through the mass of cars. Suddenly the demonstrators threw with stones at the police car and they had hit the cars with baseball bats. Someone also jumped very hard on the police car. 56% of France want that the street demonstrations stop.

12

This is the first time that the French people agree and help the police officers and the board. But the street demonstrations still didn’t stop. Last in Den Haag there were people arrested for vandalism to police officers. But it's not only police officers. It's now security forces being attacked, stores being looted, public or private buildings being set on fire, pedestrians or journalists being threatened. Macron said that this isn’t normal and that it don’t have to be like this. And that's true. We don’t have to deal with vandalism. It's not good for the world or for the Earth.

Protests outside France There are also many other countries or regions that are having protests even outside Europe, here are some examples. Belgium, The Netherlands, Australia, Germany, Italy, Canada, Russia, Unitedkingdom, United- states and lots of more countries.

Foulards rouges ( red scarves ) On 27 January 2019 a counterdemonstration took place by a group identifying themselves by the foulards rouges ( the red scarves ). They put out a joint statement with other groups saying: “we denounce the insurrectional climate installed by the yellow vests. We also reject the threats and constant foul language”.

Reactions and counter-protests In late November 2018, surveys showed that the movement had widespread in France. An opinion survey has conducted after 1 December protests found that 73% of French people supported the gilet jaunes ( the yellow vests) and that 85% were opposed to the violence in Paris. Truckers were goal oriented by protesters, and the industry made their displeasure with the situation known to the government in an open letter. Although President Macron had been insisting that the fuel taxes increases would go through as planned.

Instagram (worldwide) - on January 4th, 2019 a post appeared on Instagram of an egg with the aim of breaking a world record of ‘Insta likes’.

Opinion of Kylie Jenner Kylie Jenner didn’t say much about the post of the egg, she only posted one video on Instagram showing her peeling an on the hot asphalt whilst saying "take that little egg". (link). Most of the people commented below the post with only ‘laughing emojis’, but some people are not that happy with her Insta post at all... some people say "she is crying from the inside” or "really bad reaction!"

What is the world record egg? Almost everyone knows about it: ’the world record egg’. On January 4th, 2019 the @world_record_egg account on Instagram was created. Only a simple picture of an egg was posted with the caption: "let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this." They also made a number of hashtags in the post which is in now used by 310,503 people!! Such as #LikeTheEgg #EggSoldiers #EggGang.

It is easy to break the Instagram record of likes but it isn’t the intention that everyone is going to do this. Kylie Jenner didn’t give much attention to it.

Previous records The previous world record holder of “Insta likes” was Kylie Jenner. She posted a photo from her daughter Stormi, the post was liked more than 18 million times. Prior to Kylie Jenner the record was held by Ronaldo. He posted a photo from his girlfriend and his fourth son. The photo was liked 11.3 million times. Beyoncé held the record prior to Ronaldo’s post. The photo was of herself with a pregnant belly, this photo was liked 11.2 million times.

The evidence 1. The Titanic had 14 windows but on a photo that was taken just before the departure you can see that the ship had 16 windows. Which boat had 16 windows? The Olympic. 2. In the town where the Titanic departed unemployment was high, yet still no one wanted to work on the Titanic, even though the Titanic was understaffed. There were rumours in the town that the Titanic and Olympic were swapped. 3. There were many rich people who had bought tickets for the trip to New York but the day before departure many people said that they would not go anymore. Also J.P. Morgan who invested in the Titanic said he was sick. Or didn't he just want to die. 4. A man who had worked on the Titanic and had survived it said just before he died that the ships had been swapped.

On April 10th, 1912 the ship the Titanic departed from Southampton to New York. 4 Days after departure so on April 14th, 1912 the ship hit an iceberg and sank within a few hours, killing more than 1,500 people. While they said the ship was unsinkable and even though the ship would sink it would take a few days before it was completely sunk. The most important conspiracy theory about the Titanic is if the Titanic really sunk. That is also the conspiracy theory I am going to tell about. Let's start!

So what do you think? Did the Titanic really sink or is it the Olympic that lays on the bottom of the ocean?

The conspiracy theory The conspiracy theory starts with a man called J.P. Morgan who was a rich man and who invested in building the Titanic, Olympic and the Britannic. The Titanic and the Olympic were the same except for a few small details. However, the Olympic had a collision with another ship and the Olympic’s captain had been blamed for that. This cost J.P. Morgan a lot of money. So he came up with the idea to swap the Titanic and the Olympic, because the Titanic was worth a lot. If the Titanic would sink it would give him a lot of money from the insurance. But the Titanic was stronger than the Olympic and he didn’t think it would sink. Therefor according to the conspiracy theory, the ships were swapped just before departure.

Habit Many people also smoke because it has just become normal for them, it has become part of their routine. And that makes it very difficult for some people to deviate from it.

Weight management Some people might be so worried about putting on weight, that they just keep on smoking. Because after you have smoked a cigarette containing tobacco, you will be less hungry and eat less the next meal. As a result, smokers can lose weight and do not want to stop smoking.

What's in a cigarette? There are approximately 600 ingredients in cigarettes. When burned, cigarettes create more than 7,000 chemicals. At least 69 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, and many are toxic. Here are a few examples of the toxins in a cigarette.

We have written an article about smoking. We have chosen this topic because we find it interesting and it still happens too much. We also wanted to give you information about what smoking can do to you.

Nicotine We all know cigarettes are full of nicotine. Nicotine is the addictive drug in tobacco products, almost every sort of cigarette contains nicotine. People who use tobacco product quickly become addicted to nicotine and have a very hard time stopping. Almost all tobacco users are dependent on nicotine, that’s one of the reasons it’s so hard to quit. Nicotine is not safe! Acetone: found in nail polish remover, Benzene: found in rubber cement and gasoline, Lead: used in batteries, Carbon monoxide: released in car exhaust fumes, Polonium: radioactive substance and Chrome: used in the metal industry

Why do people smoke? Most smokers started with smoking when they were teens. People with an environment of smokers are going to smoke earlier. Teens start to smoke because they “just wanted to try it” or they thought it was “cool” to smoke. Here are some reasons why people who started smoking as a teenager, a real addiction have.

Nicotine addiction Over time, the body becomes addicted to the nicotine in cigarettes. So once a smoker finishes one cigarette, their body begins to crave another. That is why people continue to smoke after they have had one cigarette, even though they may know that it is not good for you at all. Smoking helps them relax: some people might smoke because it feels like it helps them cope with negative feelings and emotions. Some people with mental health problems, such as depression or anxiety, might smoke because it helps to alleviate some of the symptoms they experience.

What are the effects? The effects of any drug (including tobacco) vary from person to person. How tobacco affects a person depends on many things, including their size, weight and health, also whether the person is used to taking it. The effects of tobacco, as with any drug, also depend on the amount taken. There is no safe level of tobacco use. Use of any drug always carries some risk- even medications can produce unwanted side effects.

Blindness

It is important to be careful when taking any type of drug. These are a few effects of smoking that some people may experience, as mentioned before, it varies from person to person.

Smoking can make you go blind. It damages your eyes and can result in vision loss. Age related macular degeneration is caused by smoking. It is the leading cause of blindness in adults ages 65 and older.

COPD COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) is an obstructive lung disease that makes it hard to breathe. It causes serious long-term disability and early death. It starts by making it hard to be active. It can prevent people from going outside and losing social contacts. Therefore they can no longer do everything they want.

How do you stop smoking? Every cigarette you smoke is too much, but if it was a daily routine for years, it is not that easy to quit. To get motivated you need a powerful, personal reason to quit. It may be to protect your family, or lower chance of getting bad diseases. Or to look and feel younger. Choose a reason that is strong enough to stop smoking. Here are a few tips and steps that can help you stop smoking.

Stroke Smoking affects your arteries, therefore it can trigger stroke. A stroke happens when the blood supply to your brain is temporarily blocked. Because the brain cells no longer receive oxygen, they die. Stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in the USA and a leading cause of adult disability.

1.First you have to know how you want to stop. Just quit, take therapy, help with medication, etc. 2. Behavioural therapy: this involves working with a counsellor this involves working with a counsellor to find ways not to smoke. Together you will find your triggers (such as emotions or situations that make you want to smoke) and make a plan to get through the cravings. 3. Medication: varenicline prescription medicine developed to help people stop smoking. It works by interfering with nicotine receptors in the brain. This means it has 2 effects: it lessens the pleasure a person gets from smoking and it reduces the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

Asthma Is a chronic lung disease that makes it harder to breathe. Because cigarette smoke irritates the air passages, it can cause you to have multiple asthma attacks. Smoking does not cause you to get asthma but only makes it worse.

Pregnancy and new-born babies Smoking can cause ectopic pregnancy in women, which is when a fertilised egg implants somewhere other than the uterus. The egg can’t survive and, if left untreated, can be life threatening for the mother. Smoking also makes it more difficult to get pregnant. The effects of smoking by a pregnant women also have an impact on the baby’s health. It can cause babies to be born prematurely or/and to be underweight babies to be born prematurely or/and to be underweight.

Diabetes If you smoke, you usually get type 2 diabetes. The chance of getting that type of diabetes is increased by 40 percent if you smoke. It also increases the risk of complications such as heart and kidney disease, poor blood flows to the legs and feet and nerve damage. Getting that type of diabetes is increased by 40 percent if you smoke. History of the chicken nugget Chicken nuggets were invented by a food science professor named Robert C. Baker. Chicken nuggets were first called Chicken Crispie by Mr Baker and his associates. Mc Donald’s chicken nuggets were first introduced to the Mc Donald’s by Tyson Foods in 1979 and they started selling it in 1980. Dr Baker’s invention made it possible to form chicken nuggets in any shape. Common problems the meat industry were facing at the time of this invention were being able to hold the ground meat together without skin and producing a batter that could be both deep fried and frozen without coming off of the desired meat. Baker was able to solve both problems by first coating the meat in vinegar, salt, grains, and milk powder to make it hold together and secondly using an egg and grain based batter that was able to be fried as well as frozen.

In a lot of Dutch McDonald’s restaurants chicken nuggets are no longer for sale due to production error. The nuggets are temporarily sold out because McDonald's did not have a certain batch delivered as a precaution, says McDonald’s. "We cannot entirely exclude the possibility that there are weird substances in the chicken nuggets due to a defective part in the production process of a supplier. Allot of people were angry because there were no chicken nuggets so that’s why allot of people complained. This shouldn’t of happened so McDonald’s apologized.

But what is the chicken nugget actually? McDonald's introduced its Chicken McNuggets in 1980 and they've been a bestseller ever since. Chicken nuggets are in fact typically made of the same meat that you see in the supermarket, that is, broiler meat. The meat is ground and formed. It is then breaded and cooked, usually baked and fried in oil. Other boneless chicken meat, from the legs and thighs, for example, or skin from the meat, could be added for flavour and texture. The meat might then be marinated to enhance the meat’s juiciness and flavour.

were expecting Paris to fall. In the north most of Belgium was occupied but under the king's command 75,000 soldiers kept Ypres out of the German hands. On August 22nd 1914 was the bloodiest day of the whole war. Life and death of the zeppelin - The zeppelin was effective at the start of the war and in 1915, London suffered over 50 zeppelin raids. Of the 92 zeppelins used in war 68 where destroyed. Managing the dead - Managing the dead - whether in a hospital or the trenches - was a complicated task. Many bodies disappeared on the battlefield and makeshift cemeteries were dug very close to the frontlines. To identify corpses, as well as their pay books, soldiers were issued with aluminium identification discs, or “dog tags. Initially one tag was issued, but this created its own identification issues: the tag would be removed from the corpses for administration purposes, leaving the body with no means of identification. So from 1917, two discs were issued: one for administration, the other remaining on the corps.

Pssst.. Hey you there yes you, want to know some historical facts about WW1? then you must definitely read this. War declared - On June 28th 1914 was archduke Frans-Ferdinant, that was heir to the AustrianHungarian throne killed in Sarajevo. Many diplomatic things went wrong that led to Germany declaring war to many countries after that. On august the 1st Germany declared war to Russia, on august the 3rd Germany declared war to French. But then on august the 4th the United Kingdom declares war to Germany.

The battle of the Somme - The British initiated the battle of the Somme in the aim of drawing the Germans out of Verdun to attempt a decisive push. For the first time on September 15th 1916, assault tanks were used in combat . Of the fleet of 49 mark 1 tanks, only 18 were operational and only 5 were ultimately used. Late November 1916, the battle of the Somme came to an end. All-in all 650,000 German, 420,000 British and 195,000 French troops lost their lives.

The disaster of August 1914 - In the early attacks of Germany they made swift progress, After the invasion of Belgium the army marched on to Paris the French army retreated in masses. Many where captured or killed the months from august to September 1914 is marked as the bloodiest period of ww1 with over 180.000 French casualties alone. The war to win over public opinions had begun. Machine guns - The great war demonstrated the technical progress of the age, symbolised by the machine gun.

Gas used in the war - The gas used during the war was heavier then air, and so seeped into the trenches and tunnels. Pockets of gas might stagnate in shellholes on the battlefield, preventing soldiers from removing their masks, which were restrictive and uncomfortable. Even today, unexploded gas shells still lurk between beneath the farmland along the former front.

The prisoners of war - Between 1914 and 1918 over 6 million men were taken prisoner. Including 1.2 million Germans and 200.000 British soldiers. Despite the 1907 Hague convention and the efforts of the international red cross hundreds of thousands never made it home. Naval cannons - In ww1 they used naval cannons they were capable of firing heavy-duty 800 pound shells. In the event of a retreat artillerymen where instructed to destroy the cannons so the enemy couldn't use them against them.

The chemin des dames offensive – General Nivelle planned a large offensive in spring 1917.. the Germans had already held an overflying position on allied lines for 2 years on April 16th 1917, stalemate soon set in, and 200,000 men lost their lives in a matter of days. Mutinies broke out in a number of allied units. The failure of the offensive became a symbol of the violence of trench warfare.

The Germans at the gate - September 1914 the Germans had almost reached Paris but the government had already fled to Bordeaux and they 19

Snakes There are 3,709 species of snakes you have them in all different sizes and colours you have also venom snakes like the black mamba and non-venom snakes like the boa constrictor and the corn snake.

Turtles Turtles are really amazing animals who are living all over the world. In the sea and on the land and almost every turtle has a different shield you have snapping turtles they eat mostly only meat and normal turtles eat only plants.

There are reptiles in all shapes and sizes from snakes to crocodiles and from turtles to lizards. They live all over the world and they live here from almost the beginning of earth.

Crocodiles Crocodiles are massive reptiles that have been around for millions of years you have alligators and crocodiles like the caiman and the Mississippi alligator but also prehistoric ones like the sarcosuches. they eat meat and like to swim.

There are in total that we know about 10,597 species of reptiles there are 6,512 species of lizards like: gecko, pogona viticeps, iguana, thorny devil, chameleon, green-anole, skinks. 3,709 species of snakes like: black mamba, Burmese python, tree python, boa-constrictor, rattle-snake, pit-viper. 351 species of turtles like: Galapagos tortes, snapping turtles. 24 species of crocodiles like: alligator, saltwater crocodile, caiman, freshwatercrocodile.

Tuaturas Tuaturas are small sized animals that have been around since the dinosaur's they eat insect and are grey of colour they live in a bit dry areas.

Lizards There are 6,512 species of lizards, all of them look different some of them are already extinct and there are every time new species added the best known specie is the iguana. The lizards can be really small like the gecko, or really big like the comodo dragon the comodo dragon is the biggest lizard from now but the saltwater crocodiles the biggest reptile from now .

What owls do eat also depends on the species, but they mostly eat intervertebrates such as insects, spiders, earthworms, snails, fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and small mammals. They also ARE preys.

Wing shapes You can see on the wing shape which owl it is and what the method of hunting is. For example the peregrine falcon , he pours himself up the prey and is amazing in the pursuit of his prey. Actually it is how smaller the wing, how faster the owl (or bird of prey).

Conclusion So owls are the king of the hunting. They have many tricks and body gadgets they use to survive and hunt. That's one of the reasons why I'm so observed of this birds. They look great and I think they are very faithful if you treat them right. I love owls and I hope more people will take owls at home.

Owls are very special birds. They have many body gadgets, but why do owls have body gadgets? Wich species are there and why are there so many species? I’m very interested in owls because I find them fascinating and impressive. Al from I was young that was the case. When we were at a zoo and there were owls I always stood by them to stare at what they did. In my case I think these birds are very cool.

Species and lifestyle of owls In total there are 216 owl species today. The lifestyle from owls depends on the natural surroundings, but most of the owls have a nocturnal lifestyle. That does mean that the owls almost always are hunting and active at night. So most of the body gadgets are used to hunt at night.

Body gadgets One of the body gadgets is that the ears of owls not are that like the one’s from humans, no by owls the ears are inside and not at the same height either. This is so because than they can better observe where the sound of preys is coming from. Owls are birds of prey which means that they must kill other animals to survive.

Size To get an idea of the size of our solar system; our sun is 332,946 times larger than Earth and Jupiter together. Jupiter is the largest planet of our solar system and is 318 times larger than Earth. Imagine the earth has a circumference of 12.756 km. It takes a day by plane to go from one side of the world to the other. Thus the Sun and Jupiter are very large.

History of the solar system The solar system is very old, 4.568 billion years. But how did it originate? There are many theories about this. Most people believe the following theory: the planets Mars, Earth, Mercury and Venus were created because rocks and dust in the space merged together because of the heat in space. The gas planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune were created slightly different; the rocks were cold and there was ice. The rocks did not merge together, but kept floating around. The sun itself only consists of very hot rocks.

The solar system consists of 8 planets, a sun and lots of moons. In this news article you will learn more about the solar system, for example, how did it originate? And how does it look like?

The Earth’s Moon Like I have said, people have already gone to the Moon. The first man on the moon was the American astronaut Neil Armstrong. After him, 11 other people were on the Earth’s Moon. The last time someone was on the Moon was 46 years ago. The surface of the moon consists of moon dust, a very dangerous substance for people. Moon dust is a corrosive and sticky substance that attacks space suits, -vehicles and -equipment.

To the end of the world? The solar system is very important for people because we live in it. We live on Earth, but there have also been people on the Moon. Now people want to travel further and are planning to go to Mars. We have not succeeded yet, because the living conditions on Mars differ from the conditions on Earth. Some people think that we can go to Mars in a few years, some say it will take longer to have the right technology , we don’t know yet how long it will take. And if we are so far to get a living organism further than the moon, will the first organism be a human? The first living organism who went further than the atmosphere was a dog named Laika. She died after an hour, but flew around the earth. There are a few space ships made by humans which are sent to mars, but only a few of them have actually arrived, the other ones crashed or the connection with the earth broke.

Sun The sun is not a planet, the sun is a star. She turns around her own axis. Galli Lee discovered this. He discovered it by making a drawing every day from the sun. He saw that the sun looked every day different. There are black holes in the sun (people call these holes ‘sun holes’). Lee saw that the sun holes changed from place but returned every time. The sun turns in 25 days around her axis.

22

The temperature of the sun is approximately 4300 million degrees in the core and 8300 (!!) million degrees on the outside. It’s estimated that the sun is approximately 5 billion years old. But the way she looks like will change. In about 5 billion years she will become a red giant and then there will be a big explosion; then she will become a white dwarf. On Earth it will get very cold then and there is no energy if there is no sun. Humans cannot live under these circumstances on earth.

Mars Mars is, after Earth, the finest place to live in our solar system. Mars is two times bigger as Earth. There is ice on Mars and this is the reason why scholars think that there might have been life on Mars. There is iron on Mars. This iron began to rust and that is the reason why Mars has its colour. Mars is named after the Roman god of the war, named Mars too.

Mercury Mercury is the smallest planet of our solar system and it is the closest planet to the sun. The planet is named after the Roman god Mercury, which is the god of the trade and traders (Mercury has the shortest way around the sun and traders also try to find the shortest way to trade). The temperature is 426°C to -172°C. So most people think that we will never be able to go to Mercury!

Jupiter Jupiter is the first gas planet and the biggest planet of our solar system. It is named after the roman god of heaven and storms. There are a lot of storms and hurricanes at Jupiter and one of them is the “the big red spot”. This storm already exists for three hundred years and is two times as large as the earth!

Venus Venus is the second planet from the sun. It is named after the Roman god of love, who was named Venus too. The planet is named after Venus because love is bright, and this was the brightest planet of the solar system. The temperature on Venus is 450°C -500°C and that is one of the reasons why the planet is also called the terrible planet. Another reason why it is so terrible there is because there is a very high air pressure and that means that people are crushed in a few minutes (unmanned spacecraft were crushed in an hour)! So we know for sure that we’ll never be able to go to Venus.

Saturn Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun in our solar system and is named after the Roman god Saturn, the god of the agriculture and the grain sown. Saturn is known since the prehistory. In 1610 the rings of Saturn were discovered by Galileo Galilei.

Uranus (ice giant) Uranus is named after Ouranos, a god in Greek mythology (the god of personification and heaven). It is discovered in 1781 by William Herschel. Neptune (ice giant) Neptune is the last planet of the solar system. Neptune is named after Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, because the planet has the color of the sea. It is visited by one spacecraft, Voyager 2.

The Earth The Earth, the nice planet where we live on. Everyone knows how it looks like. It turns in 365 days and 6 hours around the sun. The planet where we live on exist for 70% of water, that is one of the reasons why we can live on it. It has the perfect temperature and the atmosphere is thick enough and not too thin. In other words; it is the perfect planet for living organisms. And also the only planet with living organisms, for what we know until now. 23

Pluto Pluto is one of the dwarf planets of the solar system. He is a dwarf planet because planets have to turn in a circle around the sun. Pluto turns in a kind of egg-formed shape around the sun. I think that you will never go on vacation on Pluto, because normally the temperature there is between -233 and -223 °C degrees. Pluto is not that big, the planet is approximately 17 million km2 (that is approximately as big as the land Russia).

Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 The voyagers 1 and 2 were launched in 1977 when the planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune were aligned. This only happens once every 175 years, so the people would take their change. The Voyager 2 is the only satellite who made some pictures of the ice planets, so it is very special. The Voyager 2 is launched together with the Voyager 1 (1977), the target of launching these space crafts was to visit the planets Jupiter and Saturn and to make photos of the rings of Saturn and the moons of these two planets. And at the end, Voyager 2 would also visit Uranus and Neptune. After this, on 10 December 2018, the Voyager 2 has left the solar system. The Voyager 1 left the solar system in 1990, in this year he also sent some pictures from the outside of the solar system, in which you can see 6 planets. The conclusion is that our technology is really far, but not far enough to go to Mars or other planets. We know one thing for sure; Earth is the best planet to live on in our solar system. We don’t know that much about the other solar systems. We don’t know what we are going to do in the future, but there is one thing that we are sure about and that is that we have to be careful with our Earth, because we only have one Earth and it is a nice place to live on!

Musical Canine Freestyle

There are a lot of normal sports such as soccer, gymnastics or maybe swimming. But did you know there are also really weird sports? Cheese rolling? Wife carrying? Chess boxing? In this article you learn about some of the weirdest sports on planet earth.

Dog(s) and human(s) perform a musical act together. Needs: Good trained dog(s), you need to be trained good enough, sometimes socks for the dogs and dancing shoes for the humanly dancer. There are competitions all over the world. You get judged by pro’s and they judge you on: The moves, (you get more points if you do harder moves). Presentation (is there a story and not just random moves?). The teamwork between the dog(s) and the human(s). Is the dog happy? The price the winner gets is almost always different, from trophy to money.

Cheese Rolling Cheese rolling is a sport that has taken place for over 100 years. A cheese is thrown down a hill while a group of people chase after it trying to be the first to catch it or reach the bottom of the hill. The cheese weighs around 3-4kg and goes very fast down the very steep hill. If you win, you get to keep the cheese, and if you come second or third place you'll receive £10 (around 11 euro). BUT if you want to be a cheese roller you should think about the fact you can break your back or other bones. So WATCH OUT!!!

Extreme ironing Extreme ironing is an extreme sport in which people take ironing boards to remote locations and iron items of clothing. Extreme ironing came into the world by Tony Hiam in 1980, near Settle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, England. Extreme ironing is just ironing at extreme locations such as: A mountaintop a small island in the middle of the ocean or maybe even bungee jumping.

Bouldering Climbing without a rope but still save of course. The maximum height of bouldering with a mat is 8 meters high. With water underneath the wall, it could be way higher, sometimes even 50 meters! Boulders (a route) is where you climb on and if the boulder is really hard it is called a problem. Needs for bouldering: climbing shoes, magnesium, sport clothes, boulder wall. Magnesium is used so it is easier to hold on to the holds. The shoes have a half moon form so it's easier to step on the holds. Differences with climbing: Bouldering: Without rope, without harness, maximum 8 meters high (with mat) Climbing: With rope, with harness, maximum 2,5 times rope length high.

Tuna tossing This sport began in South Australia in the fishing community of port Lincoln, in this sport people throw with fish, the person who can throw the 20 pound fish the furthest wins. When the sport first came into the world people threw with real tuna or other fish, but nowadays people throw with fake fish instead.

Toe wrestling

Chess Boxing

This sport is similar to arm wrestling, players try to hold down their opponent's toes for three seconds. People play 3 rounds and men and woman are divided into 2 separate groups. Of course per round the winner gets 1 point, after 3 rounds the person with the most points wins. There’s even a world toe wrestling championship which has started in the 1970’s.

Chess boxing is the ultimate battle between mind and body. The players play in rounds of 3 minutes, they play 3 minutes long chess and box for 3 minutes as well. The rules are: each round lasts 3 minutes, the chess rounds are in total 18 minutes so they have 9 minute per athlete and fighters win by knockout, checkmate, by the judge’s opinion or if the opponent exceeds the time limit. After each chess round, the chess setup is digitally recorded so the next round they can go on. The breaks between the chess and boxing rounds normally are 60 seconds.

Hopefully you learned a lot about these weird sports on planet earth. If you didn’t you should read this article again. But don’t forget to check the sites below, the sources for this article about the weirdest sports. 25

THE SEARCH FOR SALA On a moment the police stopped with searching for Sala and the pilot, because the change was very small that they were alive, the sister of Emiliano begged the police to keep searching but the police didn’t search. The family raised money to continue searching in the channel. there were many people who felt sorry for the family and wanted to help. That is how the family collected about 300,000 euros. Last week, five helicopters, three planes and two lifeboats searched for tracks. Because the chance is small that Sala and his pilot were still alive. The wreck of the aircraft of the Argentinian footballer Emiliano Sala is found in Het channel. A researcher who was involved in the search for the aircraft has announced this on behalf of the family. The body from Sala was found in the wreck of the plane. But the body of the pilot David Ibbotson is still not found.

On the 21th of January 2019 Emiliano Sala was travelling by plane to Cardiff, to complete his transfer from Nantes FC to Cardiff City FC. But there was a heavy storm and it was winter, so it was dangerous to fly over the English Channel. Sala and the pilot David Ibbotson did fly in a small weak private plane. Emiliano could choose for a big strong plane that Cardiff City offered him, but he refused that. Everyone said: Better you don’t fly, because it is very stormy. They ignored it and they leaved. Above the English Channel Sala sent an audio-message to family and some friends. In that message he said: ‘I’m tired and I am up here on a plane which looks like it’s falling apart.’ The plane disappeared from the radar above the English Channel.

WHAT ABOUT THE FLIGHT? The pilot who flew didn’t a certification form commercial fly's, there are more questions about the pilot and his experience and certifications. It isn’t sure if Sala had payed for the flight (what was not allowed) or that the pilot took him based on sharing the costs, what was allowed. The weather also played a big part. On the moment of the crash there were winter showers. The researchers are going to look further analyse the radar images to be able to say what happened in the last minutes of the flight. In the plane Sala was the only passenger. The plane broke in three parts. It fell in parts above the channel. The wings broke off and the tail disappeared the body of Sala lay in the cockpit.

WHO WAS SALA? Emiliano Sala was an Argentinian professional footballer. He was born on 31 October 1990 in Cululu, Argentina he also has an Italian passport. He died on 21 January 2019 by a plane crash. His position on the field was striker. He played for: Girondins Bordeaux, US Orléans, Chamois Niortais, SM Caen, Nantes FC, he was about to get transferred to Cardiff City FC. He played with number 9. he was loved by the fans of Nantes fc. It shocked everyone that he crashed. The fans went to a place in France and put flowers and candles by a big photo of him. Also, for football matches there was 1-minute silence, but by Nantes there was a big applause for the Argentinian football player. He was loved by the fans of Nantes FC, he was there favourite.

PAYMENT ISSUES Nantes fc wants to see money from Cardiff for Sala. He went for 17 million euros from Nantes fc to Cardiff fc. If the French football club doesn’t see a part of the money they are going to take legal actions. The football club from Wales wanted wait during the transfer period to transfer the first down payments until all the documents are in order.

So that’s a good reason to do judo instead of Jiu Jitsu. Also, if you did Kodokan judo you had a healthier body. Kano learned a lot about teaching. And even now he was a teacher he wanted to learn more and more. Kano had a lot of friends because of his great parents. These friends became his first judo students. There were 22 judo students of Kano. They all became successful judoka’s and started judo schools. The 22 and Kano give demonstrations about judo in Japan and later in the whole world. Gym teachers saw judo was easy to teach and quickly to learn. Because of that judo was spread over the entire world.

What do you think judo is? We think it’s fun and you will invent that while reading this article. If you already do judo as a hobby, you can tell everything you’ve learned from this to your sensei of your judo club. And it is much information all in ones! I will not bother you anymore read and have fun!

Belts of Judo

Judo is a sport invented by the Japanese man Jigoro Kano (try to call out his name correctly) in 1882. Kano was a small and skinny boy and was bullied a lot. But he didn’t dear to fight back. When he was 16 years old, he went to a Jiu jitsu school (a fighting school). His condition became better thanks to the Jiu jitsu techniques. So, he started to feel stronger and dear to stand up for himself. He soon found out that that wasn’t easy at all. To be correct is was hard. The belts of judo show you your claim of judo and how good you were/ are at Judo. We also have three groups in judo. If you want to classify the people which are in those groups, we don’t look at the belt or height but at your age. Therefor it is also possible that you have someone with a white belt in group three. in the first group are the people who are younger than 7. In the second group are people from 7 till 13, but in the second group they also look to your belt. If you have for instance a white belt, but you aren‘t even a year on judo then you may not go over. if you are started in group two and you want to go to group three at aged 15, but with a yellow belt, you may not go. That means what you started; you must finish.

They needed to punch with fists, paddling with feet and stabbing with fingers. Almost every time his body was full of plasters. Some people even called him Bansoko (the plaster). He found out that he didn’t wanted to do the sport like this. So, he started searching and searching until he found what he wanted. He invented judo, but judo wasn’t called judo, but he called it Kodokan judo. Kodokan judo wasn’t painful but safe you didn’t have to punch or kick anymore it even was forbidden. And it also was more fun to watch and to do. Kodokan judo was a sport to throw someone on the ground and keep him under control. Jiu Jitsu was about defeating your opponent's. Even if your opponent couldn’t stand up after it.

In group three you may just go in there at aged 13 and you can stay over there as long as you want. The very first belt you could have is a white one. This lets you see that you aren’t that long busy with judo and that you still need to learn much. In our judo club is before you get the yellow one, we have the yellow slip and then after that we have the yellow belt and then you can see that we than go on with the yellow belt with the orange slip. After that the orange belt comes up. You can already guess what comes next. If you look at the picture because it is now a slip from the belt which comes after the orange one. And after you have the blue belt, you don’t get slips anymore and you just go to the brown and the black one. but you may only have the black belt if you are 16 or older. You have the black belt longer than all the other belts because the black belt are more belts at the same time. There are ten dans (dannen).

The black belt has 6 in their possession, so you just have the same belt for 6 years. Then you have the red-white belt. After that one you get the red belt. That one is quite rare because only two persons has ever had that belt and one of those persons was the inventor o. The big white one is even more rare than the red-white one because this time only the inventor of judo has had that belt and NO ONE ELSE. My opinion about judo is that it is officially the best sport ever because, let’s say, maybe I had a bad day at school, I got an insufficient for something and I am stressed. If I can go to judo then, then all my stress and anger is just gone because I can enjoy it there and have fun with my friends, in short, it’s just a super fun sport.

History of American football In Ancient Greece, men played a similar sport called Episkyros where they tried to throw a ball over a scrimmage while avoiding tackles. Forms of traditional football have been played throughout Europe and beyond since antiquity. Many of these involved handling of the ball, and scrummage-like formations. These archaic forms of football, typically classified as mob football, would be played between neighboring towns and villages. This game became more popular and more people started to play this sport. After years the rules changed bit by bit and eventually people started giving people money for playing in there team. And also more people liked to watch a game of American football, so there came stadiums for American football.

Conclusion American football is a rough game that looks a bit like rugby. And the game has a lot of rules that are hard to understand. That is mostly the reason for a lot of people that are not American to don’t watch a nice game of American football. But that is different for the most American people they like to watch a game of American football in real live or on the TV.

How does American football look like? In the US they call American football just football. American football is a rough game that is also why American football players have a lot of Armor. Mostly man play American football, but there also some woman’s that play American football. A lot of people like American football, that is why there are a lot of big stadiums in America. The field is 109m by 49m it is the same size as a football field.

How does American football work? American football is a game with two teams who have both 11 players on the field. The ball that they are using has pointed ends. And they have to get that ball to the other side of the field and that is how they can get points. There are 4 ways of scoring: touchdown, field goal, extra point and safety. You have four quarters of 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes there is a short break, in that break you can drink something en talk with your coach about what you could do better.

The Australian Open is every year held in January. This year it started at Monday the 14th of January and it ended at Sunday the 27th of January. There are 4 rounds were you can play to someone. the competitions are held in 4 arena's. These are: show court 2, show court 3, Margaret court arena and the Rod Laver arena. This year it was held in Melbourne. All these big tennis players have sure a lot of money and are very rich, but why. When you classified into the Australian Open you can win a lot of money. How further you come how more money you can get. For example when you win the Australian Open as single you can get 4.1 million euros and when you only reach only the second competition you can get 15K euros.

Tennis is becoming more and more popular by children. There are also more and more talents that are being discovered. The best things about tennis are of course the matches, to make someone hard at it. For the real toppers you have of course the big tournaments, including the Australian open, but what exactly is the Australian Open?

When you put everything together you can see that the Australian Open is actually a very complex with a lot of history, much more that stands here. And it is very fun to do it, but that is my opinion this was the end of the story.

I do this subject because I am a really big fan of tennis, and especially the big tournament. I am also on tennis. I do this twice a week, and on the Sunday I also play tournaments. Unfortunately I am not super good but I find it is super fun to do. Every time when there is a cool game on television, I watch carefully, especially if Nadal or Federer are playing. The Australian Open was started in 1905. It was established by tennis Australia in Melbourne, also known as the ( LTTA). In the first years the Australian Open was Known as the Australasian championships. The tournament is one of the four Grand Slams. The other grand slams are Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. The Australian open is held in Melbourne the Sports capital of Australia, but there were also years were it was held in other places. These cities were: Melbourne (55 times), Sydney (17 times), Adelaide (14 times), Brisbane (7 times), Perth (3 times), Christchurch (1906) and Hastings (1912).

Sand Skiing Skiing usually is in the snow, but in Peru or Dubai for instance, you can go skiing in the sand. Skiing in the sand isn’t really popular yet, and it isn’t really a sport yet, that’s why a lot of people have never heard of it. You can only sand ski in a few places in the world. Sand skiing has the same idea as normal skiing but sand skiing is just in the sand and there are no ski lifts and it’s in the middle of a desert instead of on the top of a mountain. Only real pro’s go skiing in the sand, they then usually ride a car through the desert for a few hours looking for good dunes, and then climb them and ski off of it. At sand skiing you don’t go as fast as at normal skiing. The world record was set by a German guy, he reached a speed of 92.12 km/h.

Skiing holidays have become more and more popular over the years. But why are skiing holiday’s so popular? and what makes this holiday so special? 30% of people in Europe have been on ski holiday once in their life. In 2015, almost 900 thousand Dutch people went on winter sports. Some people even go twice a year. The most people go to North America, to go skiing or snowboarding. For Dutch people, Austria is the most popular country for skiing, And for Europe, its France. The world’s biggest ski area also lays in France, it’s called: les 3 vallees. It has 600 km of slopes spread between the three main resorts: val Thorens, Chourchevel and Meribel. France doesn’t only have the largest ski area in the world, France also has 6 of the 12 largest ski area’s in the world. You have the: Les 3 Vallees, Portes du soleil, Paradiski, The Milky wich a part of also lays in Italy, Val d'Isere, Tignes, the Alpe d'Huez and Les Alpes.

Accidents Skiing and snowboarding are two of the most popular sports at ski areas, but their popularity means that the number of injuries remains high. The over-all incidence of death was 0.87 deaths per million skier days. the specific incidence for traumarelated deaths was 0.24 deaths per million skierdays. Although it is very unlikely to die by skiing or snowboarding, it is still really dangerous. The most injury's happen off-piste. That's because off-piste, the snow is loose and it can become a very dangerous avalanche. If the lawine is right behind you, you will fall, the snow will fall on top of you and then it is hard to escape. You can't breathe anymore and can't move. You will die because you don’t get any oxygen or you freeze to death. as you can see, ski vacations are popular vacations, and there are a lot people enjoy to ski or snowboard for a couple of days. But before you can enjoy the beautiful view from the high mountains. You have to organize a lot of things to even come on the mountain. There are also other sorts of skiing, for example: sand skiing. It sounds weird but is is true. But it isn´t that fast as skiing on the snow. But you’re not completely safe form accidents if you go on ski vacation. Skiing and snowboarding is still pretty dangerous. Because of its popularity, the number of injuries and death demands high. But it’s very unlikely that you die, as long if you stay on the slopes.

Time spend skiing Before you go skiing on the slopes, you have to organize things to be able to come on top of the mountain. Actually you only spend 6 to 10% of your day skiing. The other part of your day you spend on renting skies (If you didn’t bring your own), buying a ski pass, eating/drinking something at a restaurant on the slope, waiting in the line for the chairlift.

So Vinicius is a football player who has played in his youth for Flamengo in Brazil. Brazil is also the country where Vinicius is born. Vinicius plays preferably at an offensive position in game, in football we call this people attackers. Vinicius plays now by Real, that is also one thing you can see/read in the table. He is indeed in 2018 transferred to Real Madrid from Flamengo. This was a very big step for a talent like him. But he has done it very well in his first time and deserved a permanent place in the first selection of Real. Overall he is still 18 years and so good that we call him one of the biggest ''talents'' in the world! He plays in the best competition in the world and when you do it then so well. Than you are a really big talent!

Vinicius JR - One of the biggest talents in the football world is Vinicius Jr. A Brazilian footballer who is scouted by Real Madrid. Vinicius is a talent who is going good by Real Madrid. He is a fast winger who makes a lot of goals. He is famous because he is so young and already so good!

He has showed how good he was by Flamengo and Real saw it. They thought Vinicius was a good investment for their team so they bought him. Now at the moment he plays in the first selection of Real and he is doing it very well. He makes a lot of goals and gives also a lot of assists. Do you know Ajax Amsterdam? He played in the champions league against them, the match ended in a 1-2 victory for his Real. His scores by Real from goals and assists are you going to read later on. He made already, 22 goals for real and gave 99 assists in the two years he played by Real. Peter Bosz, who was appointed as the successor of Frank de Boer in May 2016, De Jong won during the preparation for the 2016/17 season in the selection of the first team. He was then allowed to join the Aselection at training camp to Austria. In a friendly match with FC Liefering, at the end of this training camp, he made his unofficial debut for Ajax. After the preparation, De Jong again played with Young Ajax. Bosz included him in the match selection for a KNVB cup match against Willem II on September 21, 2016. De Jong made his official debut for Ajax in this match. De Jong played for the first time on February 12, 2017 in the Eredivisie for Ajax, in a match won 2–0 at home against Sparta Rotterdam. In the last game of the 2016/17 Premier League season, De Jong made his basic debut for the team from Amsterdam in the Premier League, in a game against his old club Willem II. That De Jong does not play more than four games in the Eredivisie that season, of which only once in the starting line-up, is because coach Bosz does not find him strong in situations after losing Ajax. At the end of the season, De Jong received the Gouden Stier for greatest talent from the First Division in the 2016/17 season.

Frenkie de Jong has established his transfer from Ajax to FC Barcelona. the 22-year-old midfielder has proven his job at Ajax and the dutch national team and now goes for no less than 90 million to the biggest club in the world 'fc barcelona'. I have chosen this topic because it is one of my favorite players, and especially because I really like to play football, I think this is especially important, because this guy will help Dutch football go forward a lot, and I think we will in the future can still expect a lot from him. Frenkie de Jong was born on 12 May 1997 in the town of Arkel, the Netherlands. formerly as a little boy who was completely crazy about football. When he was 6, he went on football at the club ASV Arkel, and at 8 he was already scouted by Willem II. When he was 12, Willem II went to RJO Willem II / RKC. At the age of 16 he went to the first one of Willem II, but after one match with Willem II, he was transferred to the youth of Ajax, And then 2 years later, Frenkie had already been 18 and he was called for the first of Ajax. First, PSV wanted the little Frenkie de Jong, but he refused!

Under new head coach Marcel Keizer, who had been in charge of De Jong at Jong Ajax, he got a base place in Ajax 1 at the start of the 2017/18 season. After a few disappointing results, he was referred to the bank. On November 26, 2017, he gave three assists as a substitute in a home game against Roda JC Kerkrade (5–1). He got a basic place again a week later. On February 28, he sustained an ankle injury, causing him to miss the rest of the season.

Later, Ajax wanted to have him and he accepted and so went Frenkie de Jong of the youth of Willem II to the youth of Ajax. He indicated that an interview with Marc Overmars, Dennis Bergkamp and Orlando Talwalkar had given the battle. Only Frenkie De Jong only got 1 euro paid. After Frenkie de Jong had a conversation with the trainers about this. They had him for a few more years to let him Willem II. At Willem II, de Jong was not given a lot of playtime due to emerging relegation, and De Jong also couldn't really find it with his trainer Jurgen Streppel. Because of that, Ajax got him back in the winter break. After which he was able to join young Ajax to make the first division play minutes. On 25 January 2016, he scored his first goal in the football. In a home game of Jong Ajax with NAC Breda.

Afterwards, ten Hag thinks that Ajax would have had a great chance of becoming a champion if Frenkie had not been injured. He had recovered at the start of the 2018-2019 season. This season, he rarely plays as a defender, but usually as one of the two controlling midfielders, alongside Lasse Schöne. The player increasingly attracted the attention of major foreign clubs, including Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona and Manchester City. In 2018 he made his debut in the Champions League.

In December he was elected by UEFA in the Champions League breakthrough team 2018, a fictional team of young players who broke through in the Champions League. De Jong reached position 92 in the list of 100 best football players in the world. This list (The Guardian 100 best footballers in the world 2018) was prepared by a panel of experts, and published in The Guardian newspaper But yes the greatest moment had to come, and that came this year, the O so long football dream of every child, and that was for Frenkie de Jong the truth, Frenkie de Jong was bought for 90 million to play for FC Barcelona! So that Frenkie de Jong proves to be a great talent, hopefully we can expect him for the Dutch eleven but also for Barcelona much of him. From 6-year-old footballer to one of the best talents on earth. We hope to expect a lot from him!

The design of the game is unrealistic, and no blood flows. In the other Battle Royale games such as Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, H1Z1 and, the map they play on is much larger. Because the map of Fortnite Battle Royale is so small, the player can build his own defence, such as walls, floors and traps. For this, the player needs building materials that can be collected from destroying buildings and objects in the game. There are three types of building materials: wood, stone and metal. If a player is hit, you and+ regain your health with the use of shields and health kits collecting meds is the one thing you always need to carry with you .

What is Fortnite? Fortnite is a third-person shooter developed by Epic Games and people can fly. The game is published by Epic Games and came out as early access on July 25, 2017, and is available for macOS, iOS, PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One. On June 12, 2018, the game became available as a free download for the Nintendo Switch. A mobile version has also been available for iOS since April 2018 a version for Android was released in August 2018. The final version of the game is already released since the end of 2018. In January 2018, a total of 40 million copies of Fortnite were downloaded.

Fortnite save the world and Fortnite creative Save the world is a co-op (is a feature in video games that allows players to work together as teammates) third-person shooter survival video game developed and published by epic games. Fortnite is set in contemporary (about the same age) Earth, where the sudden appearance of a worldwide storm causes 98% of the world's population to disappear, and zombie-like creatures rise to attack the remainder. Considered by Epic as a cross between Minecraft and Left 4 Dead, Fortnite has up to four players cooperating on various missions on randomlygenerated maps to collect resources, build forts around defensive objectives that are meant to help fight the storm and protect survivors, and construct weapons and traps to engage in combat with waves of these creatures that attempt to destroy the objectives. Players gain rewards through these missions to improve their hero characters, support teams, and arsenal of weapon and trap schematics to be able to take on more difficult missions.

Fortnite consists of 2 game modes. The Battle Royale mode is a multiplayer death match, where one hundred players (possibly in teams) must compete against each other. This mode is free to play. In the Save the World mode, the player must fight against hordes of hostile creatures in order to survive. This mode is playable in single player or in online co-op.

Battle royale is a type of game (player vs. player) is based on the principle of who remains last (Last man standing). The game is played in the third person. The players are dropped on an island with a maximum of 100 players. This is possible in solo, duo and squad game modes and sometimes an LTM (limited time or limited time mode) where the player is alone in solo, duo cooperates with another player and squad with a team of maximum four. After landing, the player must look for weapons for defence and to eliminate fellow players. The playing field on the island is getting smaller and smaller due to a storm that gets bigger and bigger. Because of this the players will meet each other at a given moment. The last player to survive is the winner.

The game is supported through micro transactions to purchase in-game currency that can be used towards these upgrades. A standalone (device is any mechanism or system that can perform its function without the need of another device, computer, or connection) battle Royale game version, Fortnite Battle Royale, was released for the same platforms in September 2017. Following the release, the playerversus-environment mode was officially distinguished as "Save the World".

building that happens in the mode takes this form. Of all the things in Fortnite Creative, this one is probably the most exciting. Once you’ve built whatever it is you want, you can then create an entire custom game mode around your map. These game modes can range anywhere from custom free-for-all death matches to races and probably plenty more once players get the chance to experiment with them. It may not sound like much now, but the addition of a game mode creator means that whatever is created in the Creative mode isn’t limited to the way we think of Fortnite right now.

Creative mode is dedicated to allowing players to create whatever their heart desires. This is a mode that many players, of both Battle Royale and Save the World, have been asking about for almost a year now, but now that we know exactly what’s included in the mode it’s clear why it took Epic so long to make: Creative mode is massive. Rather than simply giving players unlimited resources and letting them fly, you can fly in Creative mode, by the way, around the standard map, Epic has taken the time to give players a variety of tools that aren’t available in the normal game. The mode will officially debut on Dec. 6 for players who buy the season seven Battle Pass, and Dec. 13 for players who don’t. Most of the information we have now comes from Fortnite YouTubers and content

Fortnite seasons Fortnite has different seasons and per season there are new things. Season 1 started in October 25, 2017 and ended in December 13, 2017 with season one there where not that many people playing but with season 2 (December 14, 2017 - February 21, 2018) there was something new, the battle pass. The Battle Pass is a system implemented in Battle Royale to reward players for playing during a length of time known as a Season. The Battle Pass has its roots in the progression system established in Season 1, although the Battle Pass itself was not formally introduced until Season 2.

creators who were invited by Epic to check out the mode. When you first load into the Creative mode, it takes you to a place called the creative hub. The most prominent feature here is a stone slab in the centre, where you spawn, and a circle of rocks around it. Each of these rocks has a rift on it, just like you would see when someone uses a Rift to Go in Battle Royale mode. The first one of these, which looks to be a slightly gold colour, will send you to your own personal creation area. Each space is called an island but they’re different from the regular battle royale island you may be used to.

There are two components to the Battle Pass, one that is freely available to all players and one that is available to purchase in the Item Shop. The later premium product is actually the Battle Pass itself, with the free component being noted in game as the "Free Pass". Despite this distinction, the Battle Royale community at large frequently uses the term "Battle Pass" to describe both components together along with the current season as a singular entity, e.g. "Battle Pass Season 3" frequently represents all of Season 3 content. The Battle Pass cost currently (in Season 8) 950 V-bucks with this there were things like emotes, xp boost, gliders, emoticons and outfits with all the new things the game started growing a lot to the point that it was the most played game and then came season 3 (February 22, 2018 - April 30, 2018) with that came a lot of new things like loading Screens, Weekly challenges and Contrails.

When you start out, each island is basically just a big open area surrounded by mountains with plenty of room to build in. Each one will let you build as much as you want until you hit the island’s memory limit (100.000), and if you exit the island it saves your progress and buildings so you can come back later. The building itself is handled a little differently than in fortnite’s other modes. This time around, you’ve got a special item that looks like a cell phone, which can be used to copy walls, move things around, rotate them or delete them entirely. Most of the 38

like frosty flights, happy hamlet and polar peak at frosty flights there were a lot of planes and at polar peak there was a giant castle. With season 6 something happened to the map no one expected loot lake went up in the air because of Kevin the cube and near haunted hills came a big castle. In season 5 there was a new biome introduced the sand biome, with this biome also came new places like paradise palms and a new small city with no name, but there was also a new place that’s not in the sand biome. The duplicate farm known as Anarchy Acres is gone and in its place is the new Lazy Links. This golf resort features several buildings, golf courses, tennis courts, and even a parking lot. With season 4 something happened to dusty divot a meteor hit it and made it a crater.

THE QUALITY The quality of the game is very good, and it can easily run on low-end pc’s or laptops. I tried it myself and on my laptop (Not made for gaming, a few years old.) it only lagged a bit which you get used to sooner or later. If you have a proper laptop/computer there should be no problem whatsoever running this game on pretty high quality. THE ISLANDS There are 6 islands in total: 5 are for story and 1, The well-known Isla Nublar, contains the sandbox. Each (story) island has different challenges. Isla Sorna for example, already has dinosaurs on it, and if that wasn’t enough, it also needs heavy landscaping.

ABOUT Jurassic World: Evolution is a game made to support the Jurassic World movie series. It takes place on “Las Cincos Muertes’, This imaginary island archipelago is the same one that the movies take place on. You have to build a new park on those islands. But only having a limited budget and with danger being right around the corner, chaos can strike any minute. You also need to make quite a lot of0 tough choices(e.g.) get a raptor, or save up for a T-rex? Next to that the game has 3 separate divisions who will give you contacts: The Entertainment Division, The Science Division and The Security Division. Getting past a reputation milestone will unlock something new, for instance a new dinosaur or building. Almost all of the time completing a contract for one of the divisions means getting a worse reputation for the other 2.

GAME MECHANICS The game uses a number of mechanics to keep the game interesting and challenging. One of these mechanics is that you are only allowed to make 1 research centre per island, and as you get more Research centres you can discover new stuff, this mechanic works about the same with the Expedition Centre, only this will unlock more dinosaurs. DANGERS Of course the Dinosaurs pose a threat if their needs aren’t met, but there are also some natural dangers. For instance, what if you were to forget something as simple as water? Then your dinosaurs will try to break out. Same with food, If there’s not enough food they will see the guests and try to get to them. I made this mistake myself a couple of times. I would not recommend it as it was very hard to get them to stop head-butting the fence. Some Islands also have storms which can damage every building in the park. This also means that they can damage fences and cut off power. The storms sometimes don’t do much damage, but can still be lethal to guests as they scare the dinosaurs and they might try to break out because they are stressed.

DINOSAUR APETITE Not only do you play on the same islands, There is also an option to edit dinosaurs genome and make your very own version of a dinosaur. You can for instance make it very aggressive or make its colour blue. You also need to take care for your dinos, give them enough space for themselves, give them some friends and don’t forget their appetite! Your visitors wouldn’t want to see a starving and dehydrated dinosaur would they??

You also have a shop where there every day is a new daily item shop with 1 free item the other things you can buy with coins and you get these coins by buying them through gems and gems cost real money or to play a lot and get them from the big boxes and brawl boxes. Because you can buy gems and they cost real money supercell made over millions in the first month. A lot of my friends play the game and they think it is fun game to play it is one of my favourite games to play because you have a lot of diversity and you have a cool ranking system with trophies so you can unlock other good and cool things so that keeps you playing because you just want that reward and after that reward another reward i popping up so that keeps on going and going. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and younger family.

You can play with a lot of different characters called ‘brawlers' in total there are 25 also every character is different but normally every character that has a lower amount of health has a better gun for longer range. Where we are now + exclusives Nowadays we have the Ps4 and the Xbox One and different variations. They are becoming more Pc like. The biggest differences are the console exclusives ( and the hardware ). There are also exclusive games for the systems. They are sometimes the reason why somebody buys a system over the other one. There are two main exclusives for both systems: for Ps there is God of war and for Xbox there is Halo. The god of war franchise is about a man named Kratos and wanting revenge on the Greek gods for tricking him into killing his own family. Halo is about a man named John 171 he chosen for a project named project spartan. There he gained a suit making him super powerful. The purpose of the project was to make elite soldiers to keep earth safe from alien attacks.

Why I'm writing this article I am writing this article because i have a Ps4 and an Xbox one and i started to get interested about which one is better and the history behind the systems.

Ps VS Xbox The war between Sony and Microsoft has been going on for years about which console is better. Sony has been making PlayStation since 3rd of December 1994. Whilst Microsoft started making them on 15th of November 2001.

Ps4 blue light of death The Ps4 had a similar problem like the red ring of death: The blue light of death. This problem would occur less. The problem comes from when the circuit balls that connect the memory of the system and the motherboard are broken. It only takes one ball to break for this to happen. When the system is booting up it does a system check-up and so it can’t access that part and it keeps on the Ps boot up logo.

How the PlayStation started Sony’s PlayStation was originally an add-on for the Super-Famicon but after Nintendo backed out of the deal they had already put in the hard work. They made an entire new console to rival the console that Nintendo made.

The Controllers There is a big difference in the button layout the biggest one is where the joysticks are and that the PlayStation controller has an touch pad. But they are not used often by game developers.

How the Xbox started Microsoft’s Xbox was made in 2001. To compete in the gaming industry. At the time PlayStation was doing really well with its ps2. so the Xbox was easily beaten by the ps2.

My personal opinion My experiences with both systems: my Xbox one was brand new and i have had it for one year now. It worked really well in the beginning but slowly i started to get more and more error messages and certain games wouldn’t load properly i might just be unlucky though. My Ps4: I have had my Ps4 for a month or so, so there might be more problems later on. It has been working like it should be and it has an nice interface. I like the ps4 exclusives more than the Xbox’s exclusives. The only Xbox exclusive i like is the Halo franchise. So i myself would buy another ps4 if i had to choose between an Ps4 and a Xbox one.

The second/Third generation Microsoft beaten Sony to making the second generation of consoles. The Xbox 360. But the Xbox 360 had a big problem: The red ring of death. 23.7 percent of the original Xbox 360 had the red ring of death occur. In the other hand Sony had made the Ps3 the original version had backwards compatibility but was priced €599.- euro’s after that Sony made a cheaper version but without backwards compatibility.

children The most people have 2 until 3 children but there is someone with really many children. The mother Valentina Vassilyev has the most children. She has 16 twins 7 triplet and 4 quadruplets so that are in total 69 children.

Running on flippers Christopher Irmscher, she is that woman who ran 100 meters on flippers she did that not only on flipper, but also she jumped about vaulted .she did that in a time of 14,82 seconds and that without falling .

You have a lot of world records for example the longest domino ever or the most push-ups. That is just quite normal ,but some people have really weird records on their name this are the most weird world records. Naked rollercoaster This is the first weird record. A group of people were travelling through a few countries for their record they wanted naked in a roller coaster .The group was with 102 people, so if you want this record you need to find 103 people who want to be in a rollercoaster but then naked.

Toilet Seats Kevin Shelley didn't like toilets seats I think. He broke 12 toilet seats in one minute with his head this so is a new record.

Balance a Mini Cooper? I think you let balance a few books on your head or something else. but I think not that you ever thought to let balance a Mini Cooper on your head. John Evans did it. He balance a Mini Cooper on his head for 33 seconds.

Longest nails This is also a really weird record. The 45 old woman Sylvana has the longest nails she hasn’t cut hear nails for over 26 years. The nails on her right hand are 12 ins and hear left the nails are 11 ins she said that she with her nails can do everything normal she says it stops her not from a normal life.

There will be 19 finalists, with the limitation that from every region the LVK uses (North Limburg, Central Limburg, Parkstad Limburg, Westelijke Mijnstreek and Maastricht Mergelland) at least two songs come into the final and that singers can only come into the finals with one single song.

point counting The winner of the LVK will receive the LVK challenge trophy, designed by Appie Drielsma. Throughout the years, the point counting in the final and semi-final changed multiple times. Also before they only played the semi-finals and finals on the radio and later on the television because otherwise some people might choose on looks and on the show, but then they would only listen to the lyric and the song itself.

voting

The LVK stands for limburgs Vastelaovesleedjes konkoer’ but when you hear that you might have some questions like, what is it exactly? How does it work? Or how did it start?

For a very long time you could only vote with coupons in the semi-finals. You could cut those coupons out of newspapers of weekly magazines, but nowadays you can also vote by sending an SMS or via a phone call. Since the LVK in 2015 they completely quit the voting with coupons so you could only vote by sending an SMS or by a phone call because sometimes there were false coupons and that didn’t want that anymore.

the beginning of the lvk It all started in 1976 when people ‘made’ the LVK. They made it because they wanted to stimulate the Limburgse carnaval music by making a competition out of it. One of the promoters was Bertha PaulissenWillen who was councillor and city councillor in the city Geleen. The price of the LVK was also named after her. The first LVK final was held on 18 November 1976 and was won by Maastricht. The first LVK didn’t get much attention in newspapers but later they started working together and some rounds even got on the radio. Since 2002 you can see the final live on television.

the finale When the final was only broadcasted on the radio, the jury would sit in café’s spread across the province with the main jury on one spot together. From 2006 you could vote by SMS of phone call, however there was once a fuss: the LVK was held in the place Margraten in South Limburg. There was a long time no winner from South Limburg and for the third time in a row the place Venlo from North Limburg won the LVK. So nowadays the winner is decided by (one fifth of each) the main jurt, three professional jury’s and the votes of the people who SMSed or had a phone call. The audience must choose three songs instead of one. The three professional juries were: the former winners, famous carnavalists of Limburg and the third one varies each year. The number of finalists went from 19 to 20 and the points the jury could cast went to 16.

how does it work The songs who were submitted to the LVK in November will be judged in December by the head jury. This jury will let 60 songs go to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be broadcasted on the L1 radio in January. The listeners of the L1 radio dan decide who they like the best by sending in coupons that are in the newspapers (this is changed later, they don’t use the coupons anymore). The votes of the listeners and the jury will decide who goes to the next round, they both count for 50%.

Almost everyone who has to do with carnaval knows the lvk. Every year the lvk is held in a place in Limburg.

Often the same people enter the lvk finals as in previous years because they already have a lot of experience with writing and singing songs. De Geliende , Spik and Span and Katja Henz participate almost every year.

too many tickets It's a fun festival but this time something went wrong, too many tickets were sold. When all tickets had been used up, you could still order them online. People who had a ticket that they could not use, received their money back. The tickets were also sold out quickly. They cost 25 euros each but were sold for 30 euros on sales sites such as marktplaats. You could come in with a QR code. You have to be early because otherwise you would be in line for a long time.

Hopefully next year the lvk will be just as successful as this year. And the artists are already busy with their song for next year.

alcohol check There was a strict check for alcohol consumption under the age of eighteen. People have even been arrested, Children are not going to the police station but to bureau halt. After the lvk people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Often alcohol is drunk at large festivals.

other versions of the lvk The first version of the lvk was held in 1977 and was won by the song Vaan Eèsjde to the Mookerhei by Jean Innemee and Bert Salden from Maastricht. In 2000 there was also a competition for children named kvl, Kinjer Vastelaovend Leedjesfestival. In 2010 there was a version for teenagers called the tvk, Teen Vastelaovends Konkoer. From 1983 there has also been a competition for dweil orkesten (joekskapellen en zaate hermeniekes): the LKZH, the Limburg Championship Zaate Hermeniekes.

the trophy The winner will receive the Bertha Paulissen trophy. One of the creators of the lvk is bertha paulissen, Which is why the trophy is named after her. If you have received the trophy you must return it the following year. Venlo has won the lvk 12 times which is quite special, because other places only won 1 or 2 times sometimes a place never even won the lvk. This year the song Groete oet de fieësttent has won the lvk , written by Bas Keltjens and Bart Storcken. The song was sung by the group: Hoondervel from Haelen. the group consists of 7 members. In previous years they also participated with the lvk. But they have never won. Last year the lvk was held in kessel. That year the song blieve won the lvk sung by spik and span. 45

Tip 4: Eat more fruit

Sometimes it seems very difficult to stay healthy. You want to sport a lot and you want to eat healthy food, but you often just do not have the time for it and it is also very tempting to eat something unhealthy because it’s so tasty. Maybe you don’t know, but there are many little things you can do to stay healthy. In this article you can find 10 little tips to stay healthy.

Eating fruit is very healthy and much better than candy and such unhealthy snacks. Fruit is very tasty and also healthy! Just try some fruits (such as: Kiwi, Mandarin, Apples, pear, etc.) and see what YOU like. This way you eat a lot healthier but still tasty and once you get used to it, once you get used to it you don't have to pay much attention to it because you do it automatically

Tip 1: water It is very important that you drink enough water. Indeed, it is very good for your skin and it has even more advantages. It is especially important that you drink a lot on hot days, because you will lose a lot of moisture on such days. Try to bring a sturdy water bottle and fill it up regularly. You can also download an app to track how much you drink per day. So you are sure you get enough moisture!

Tip 5: Set goals for yourself it can help you if you set goals for yourself and work them out. That way you probably reach your goals easier. You can do this for the pursuit of a certain weight, healthy eating, enough sleep and more. There are all ideas on Pinterest to work out and achieve your goals. You can also watch YouTube videos about this.

Tip 2: try to walk more

Tip 6: Think of healthy snacks that YOU like

Try to walk more. This can help you to become fitter. This way you burn extra calories in any case. I have some tips for you so you're going to walk more. Take the stairs instead of the elevator more often. Or use a pedometer to track your steps. For example, you can set a goal of how many steps you want to achieve, and that goal you are going to try to achieve.

I said earlier that fruit is a very healthy snack, but there are of course more healthy snacks. you can eat yogurt with muesli or you can make a smoothie. whatever you think of ... as long as it's healthy, isn't it okay ?!

Tip 7: Take the stairs instead of the elevator

Tip 3: Get enough sleep

taking the stairs more often than the elevator is a good tip I want to give you. This is a very small thing but if you live in a flat for example, this can make a very big difference. You often don't think about these kinds of small things, but they are very healthy. if everyone would do such small things more often, it would be much healthier.

It is very important that you get enough sleep because if you do not get enough sleep you will not be able to concentrate on your work/school the next day. It also doesn’t feel good to be tired I think. It is sometimes difficult to go to bed if you are not tired yet. For example, try to do something soothing like reading. You can also look at health sites for a good time to go to bed that suits you.

Tip 8: Smile When you smile, the production of various happiness hormones in the body is increased. These hormones provide a sense of satisfaction and happiness and also have pain relief. In addition, laughter has a relaxing effect, gives it energy and makes you look at problems more positively. Your brain doesn't know the difference between a real smile and a fake smile. This way you also benefit from these benefits with a fake smile.

Tip 9: Grow your own fruit and vegetables it is very nice to be busy with your own vegetable garden and watch the fruit and vegetables grow. it takes time and patience but it is healthy and fun! definitely try it out!

Tip 10: try to sport more exercising regularly is quite difficult in the beginning. Certainly if you are not used to it, it can be difficult. But you still get a lot in return. After a few months you notice that you do it effortlessly, which then cost a lot of effort. You also feel a lot fitter in general and you lose weight. Your word extra also happier! These are my 10 healthy tips. I hope it helps you and she will try it out. They are small tips, but if you do them, they will make a big difference to your body and health, and you might even lose weight. Success and I wish you a healthy future. Bye!

Teide National Park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in the centre of the island. In it, the Mount Teide rises as the highest point of Spain and even the highest point of the islands of the Atlantic Ocean, and the third-largest volcano in the world from its base.

History The earliest known human settlement in the islands date to around 200 BC, known as the Guanches . Regarding the technological level, the Guanches can be sorted among the peoples of the Stone Age. The Guanche culture is characterized by an advanced cultural development, possibly related to the Berber cultural features imported from North Africa and a poor technological development, determined by the scarcity of raw materials, especially minerals that allow the extraction of metals.

Served by two airports, Tenerife-North Airport and Tenerife-South Airport, Tenerife is the economic centre of the archipelago. The capital of the island Tenerife is Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it is also the seat of the island council. Between the 1833 territorial division of Spain and 1927, Santa Cruz de Tenerife was the sole capital of the Canary Islands. Santa Cruz contains the modern Auditorio de Tenerife, the architectural symbol of the Canary Islands.

As for beliefs, the Guanche religion was polytheistic although the astral cult was widespread. Beside him there was an animistic religiosity that sacralised certain places, mainly rocks and mountains. 1. Among the main Guanche gods could be highlighted; Achamรกn (god of the sky and supreme creator). 2.Chaxiraxi (mother goddess identified later with the Virgin of Candelaria), 3. Magec (god of the sun) and 4.Guayota (the demon) among many other gods and ancestral spirits. Especially singular was the cult to the dead, practicing the mummification of corpses.

The island is home to the University of La Laguna; founded in 1792 in San Cristรณbal de La Laguna, it is the oldest university in the Canaries. The city of La Laguna is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the second city most populated on the island and the third in the archipelago. It was capital of the Canary Islands before Santa Cruz replaced it in 1833.

In addition, small lithic and clay figurines of the anthropomorphic and zoomorphic type associated with rituals, interpreted as idols, have appeared on the island. Among these stands out the so-called Idol of Guatimac, which is believed to represent a genius or protective spirit.

You already read that I also like the category Horror. I especially like the Horror films when you don’t expect something and suddenly you get scared. My mom doesn’t like Horror films, but my dad does. But my dad is never scared. I especially like to watch Horror films with friends, so you can scare each other;) And I like the films when somebody or something is cursed. But I have one thing that I don’t like about Horror films. Because almost every Horror film has an open end or a bad end. I prefer if a film has a good end. The last category I also like is Comedy. You know it is always nice to laugh especially in a film. You have Comedy films like New Kids, this is such a Comedy film where they just scold each other. This is not the kind of humour I like. I like the humour in Comedy films if someone has only bad luck. And then he or she get stressed and she ruins everything. But it has a good end.

You will find here our opinions and the films that are coming up. So stop the thing that you are doing, grab a cup of coffee and start to read! You are going to read about films you didn’t know that they existed. You get to know our opinions and the interesting films that are coming up. We promise you, you won’t regret it if you read this.

So I hope I have made you a little enthusiastic to also watch Marvel films or action and science-fiction. I will close my opinion now, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Hello I am Tara and I am 12 years old, you are going to read about my opinion, about my favourite films/category’s.

Hello, I am Marly and I am also 12 years old, you are also going to read about my opinion about my favourite films/category’s.

My favourite film category is: Action, horror or Comedy. I really like the films of marvel. Maybe you don’t know what Marvel is, so I am going to explain this in this article.

The category I like the most is Comedy. Because when I am in a sad mood, I can watch a comedy and it takes away my sad mood. It is also fun to look it with you friends together and laugh about it.

So maybe you know Doctor Strange or maybe Iron Man. Because these are superheroes. They have a lot of superpowers. They don’t have the same superpowers. And some actually have no superpowers, but they are very smart and rich, so they can make suits with functions like Iron Man.

The second category I like too is action. Because you can fully imagine yourself in the film. And action films are a lot of times very exciting. The best way I watch action films is in the cinema in 3D, because the movie comes to live and then it is even more exciting.

Another example of a character of Marvel is Thor. He is a god and he has his superpowers from his parents. I like Marvel, because first I didn’t even know what Marvel was. My dad and his wife always watched it, that’s how I started to watch it too. When I was 7, I started to watch Marvel films. Actually it’s not allowed to watch those film with that age, because most of them are from the age of 12. And almost every film of Marvel is English, so that is how I learned to talk and understand English and now I benefit from it.

The last category that I also like is horror. This is even more exciting than action films. You can also watch this together with your friends for example when you are having a sleepover. And you can scare each other and you can see the others screaming. I like horror films with ghosts in it. Like for example when a house is cursed and there are things moving or someone is possessed by a ghost and the other ones don’t know it YET. 52

Dumbo- Dumbo is an Family and Fantasy film. The film is in the cinema for the first time on the 28th of March. the film is about a young elephant, whose oversized ears enable him to fly. It helps to save a struggling in the circus, but when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his friends discover dark secrets beneath its shiny veneer.

But I don’t really have a favourite film, but I normally just watch the films that other people say that it was a good one. I am not that picky;) So my opinion wasn’t that long, but you can read further about the films that are coming up!

Some films that are coming up

Notebook- This film has the category Romance. The release date of Notebook is one day later than Dumbo, so 29 March. the film is about an ex-army officer (Kabir) that becomes a teacher in Kashmir in a school that is in a miserable condition. things take a turn when Kabir finds a notebook…..

What men want- You can see this film on the 14th of March. It is a comedy film. Marly will like this film;) The film is about a successful woman that has to take it up to gentlemen colleges. Eventually she get wat she wants but then she wants her old life back…

Little- This is a Comedy and Fantasy film. If you would like to see this film than you have to wait a little bit longer until 12 April. It is about a successful and arrogant women, that suddenly wakes up as a 13year old child. She has to go to school, but she still acts like she is an adult.

Hellboy- The categories of this film are Action, Adventure and Fantasy. You can see this film in the cinema on the 11th of April. It’s about the men ‘Hellboy’ that is caught between the worlds of the supernatural human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

Breakthrough- This is a Biography and Drama film. The release date is 17 April. This film is about a 14year old son that drowns in s lake. His faithful mother prays for him to come back and be healed.

Brightburn- The categories of this film are Comedy and Thriller. And if you like to see this film than you can go to the United States on the 23th of May. The film is about a child from another dimension and it crashed on Earth.

So you see, a film is not just a story that they film and record. No, it’s about how you look at the film. If nobody watches the film, than there won’t be a second part. For example Star Wars has a lot of parts because the people watch it, but if you wouldn’t do that, they will stop making such a films. And if you look at the title of this article: Films are personal, you will probably think; Why? Because for example if you have been through some bad or good things and you find it back in a film, you know how it feels, so a film could be really personal.

After– The two categories of the film are Drama and Romantic. If you would like to see this film than don’t plan anything at 18 April. It is about a student Tessa that goes to the university. And there she meets a boy Hardin Scott and she falls in love with him. But she doesn’t know anything about him and she has second thoughts… End game- This is the second part of Infinity War. This is a superhero film from Marvel. In the first part (Infinity War) a lot of superheroes disappeared. So everybody knows this can’t be the end. So 24 April you can watch The End Game. They want to defeat the enemy Thanos. Pokémon: Detective Pikachu- You can see this film on May 8th. The film starts when the top detective Harry Goodman get missed. Than his 21 year old son is going to look for him what happened…

Clothing under bad circumstances. A lot of your clothes are also very unsanitary because of these bad places and bad substances. These people don’t get paid much. You must have heard of the brand H&M, they have clothes. When you buy something for 5 euros, you can bet that there’s only 0,6% of that 5 euro going to the people who made it. Fast fashion In this piece of text we explain what fast fashion is and what it means. You’re going to see all sides of it. Fast fashion plays a major role nowadays, so there is a chance you have already heard of it. What is fast fashion anyway? Fast fashion is a contemporary term used by fashion retailers to express that designs move from catwalk quickly to capture current fashion trends. With fast fashion, regular consumers can buy trendy clothes for an affordable price. They are clothes from that period that are very fast out of the fashion and they are made by people who are getting paid very little.

In this article you are going to read about all sorts of fashion and the bad sides of it and the nice sides of fashion. From how they made it ,to all sorts of brands and collections. Most people think when they hear fashion ‘ohw, thats just a thing what I wear’ ,but it has another side what is pretty interesting. So read further and find out more!

Why is fast fashion so bad for us? Fashion is designed to make you feel ‘out of trend’ and that’s why people keep coming back and we try to prevent that in this time and age. The cheap clothing is often made in an unsanitary environment where many bad substances roam around such as: lead and chemicals. These bad fabrics are often used in clothing. The clothing is made with child labor and poor payments.

How it is made. The story behind clothing Before a piece of clothing hangs in the store, it was preceded by an entire production process. Animals or plants supply the raw materials, which are processed, spun, dyed, cut or sewn after harvesting. Clothing often comes from low-wage countries. Poor working conditions and child labor are common here. In addition, the production of clothing is often quite environmentally harmful. As a consumer you have little insight into this and it is difficult to make responsible choices. Fortunately, more and more chain stores have honest clothing in their range.

Where can you buy affordable clothing that is against fast fashion? It’s not that you can’t buy anything at all, but there are few things you can think about before you go crazy with buying. And it helps really well because when you just go crazy with buying there are a lot of clothes you won’t wear. So here are a few tips for you: Do I really need this clothing? Can I combine it easily with other clothes? Is there an alternative that is fair or sustainable? Does it lasts a long time? Can it be reused or recycled?

Fair clothing. Is a way that the people who made the clothes get paid a good price so fair money for what they do. Fair clothing is most of the time without bad substances or human and animal- friendly clothing production.

Fashion shows A fashion week is meant to show new collections to the people. In this paragraph you’re going to read about big brands to how things are going behind the scenes. You will also see how things are going with models, because that is also a big part of fashion. How does that actually go? Famous fashion weeks The biggest fashion week is the Paris fashion week. The fashion week takes place between February and may. They show collections for every season: summer, spring, winter and autumn. The most accomplished people are coming so everything has to be perfect. Behind the scenes Before a show there are a lot of things to do so as trying all the clothes on, models and choose places where they could held the fashion show. There’s a lot of panic before a show especially when there’s something broken. Models Even the most popular models have to go casting every season, even though they have already walked for the designer in the last six months. Every season there are new faces, with whom experienced models have to compete. That popular status there for can be changed in no time. A while ago the designers still wanted very thin models and now it comes back again that they want models with a size more again they call it: curvy super models. In the Netherlands you have the tv show curvy super model Artists You should know some brands but the people who design it are other people. For example the designer of Calvin Klein is Raf Simons. And Victoria’s Secret was started by Roy Raymond a designer from San Francisco. They try to show their clothes to other famous fashion designers.
