The Shield

The Shield is the yearbook publication. There are many activities and skills involved in producing a yearbook. A student can learn the basics of graphic design, copy writing, and photography.

Now all of the above occur theoretically, but along with these, students experience frustration, panic, an increased knowledge of the total schools' activities and the satisfaction of seeing one's work in print.

Halo

The Halo, the school newspaper does an excellent job of informing students about what is haPPening at the school as well as away from it.

Faculty summer acitivities, senior baby Pictures, editorials and exPosees bY Steve Rizzo and the "Underground Gourmet" were some of the most popular articles this Year.

Everyone looks forward to each edition of the HaIo. Within minutes, the PaPer has been circulated and enjoyed by all.

Lyre

The Lyre, the literary magazine, comes out twice a year and consists of poetry, short stories, essays, plays and artwork by the school's faculty, students and alumni. The staff engages in many thrilling and exhilerating tasks such as proofreading, laying out, folding, collating and stapling. A staff member was quoted as saying, "The Lyre, it's like totally awesome."
