Batter llp! Girl's Softball

The Girls Softball team finished the season with a Sth place in the district. Their record was 3-8. The team beat Newman twice and Country Day once. The Most Valuable Player award went to Tracy W. Moore (Jr. Shortstop) who led in hitting and fielding. The Most Improved Players were Peyton Petit (Jr. 1st Base) and Jeanne Herrington (Jr. 2nd base). All District selections went to Tracey W. Moore for her position as shortstop and Missy Nicoladis for 3rd base. The highlight of the season was when Jeanne Herrington threw the ball at the umpire! Even though there are five seniors graduating, there remain five starters which will be a good foundation for a successful season next spring!
