Soccer A Popular Sport
Thirty-five boys came out for soccer this year. The team played in twenty games, did a decent job at the Selsa Invitational, and earned third place in the District. The co-captains were David Celsner and Don Aleman who earned the MIP and MVP awards respectively. The team bought their own uniforms, the Dad's Club donated portable poles and twenty new soccer balls were contributed as well by a parent. Coaches Perez and McCain feel that the next season looks promising, as only four seniors will be lost due to graduation and most of the starters will be returning.
