Outdoor Ed ,':
Outdoor Ed? Not just another alternative to P.E.! Outdoor education under the leadership of Mickey Landry has grown to be an unforgettable course.
Students see films, repair equipment, learn about the environment and practice their paddling, climbing and survival skills in the swamps, hills and rivers of the Southeast.
But, there is something intangible that is learned in Outdoor Ed. Friendship, camaraderie and trust are an important outgrowth of the program. Individuals from different backgrounds are brought together to appreciate nature and their relation to it. In the process, these individuals form a closely knit group.
Outdoor Education provides one of the most unique and valuable learning experiences available at St. Martin's.
