EPIC PROPORTIONS The FIS EM Plus expoxy was developed in-house by fischer’s own research department. Now the fixings specialist has a host of suitably in-depth and comprehensive supporting information, training and awareness campaign for the popular product… ischer’s FIS EM Plus professional epoxy system has been used on some projects of epic proportions, including the world’s longest sea crossing bridge – China’s Hong Kong-ZhuhaiMacau Bridge, the 100-year old St Pauli Elbtunnel in Hamburg and even the world’s tallest statue, India’s Statue of Unity. fischer is backing the product with plenty of support, including a whitepaper for structural engineers. Available to download free of charge, the whitepaper details the applications of the FIS EM Plus injection mortar in combination with system components for anchorages in sealing surfaces (according to Germany’s water resources law (WRL)). The fixing system allows facilities storing water polluting substances to be fastened securely, thereby protecting ground water over the long term. fischer also has a separate microsite and brochure specifically for anchorages in sealing surfaces.
