f or au dit ion Wh at t o pr epar e: For those applying for ENSEM BLE roles there is nothing to prepare for the audition. Just come along and have fun by taking part in some movement, acting and singing workshops. PRINCIPAL ROLES: Prepare a monologue and song from those given online PLUS a verse and chorus of a song of choice. Audition material is available here: www.bit.ly/Wizard18songs Please note your song of choice needs to be brought on device with an audio input. Please DO NOT bring CD's.

In f or m at ion If you are successful in achieving a place in our Wizard of Oz troupe there is a show fee of ÂŁ125. This is a one off payment which covers the following benefits:

Show Director and choreographer Professional tuition at weekly classes Costumes Rehearsal venue and theatre space Scripts and lyrics as required as well as online access to backing tracks Set props Sound and Lighting Full technical crew for the 2 performances All additional rehearsals that may be called
The show fee is due at the start of the rehearsal process and can be paid in one or two installments as required by individual families direct to Stamford Arts Ceentre. The show fee also includes a Wizard of Oz T SHIRT to wear at rehearsals.

Teach in g Team Dar r en O'Su llivan Darren has been working in theatre since leaving college at 18. His early credits include several Theatre In Education tours and dozens of Musical Theatre productions including: Bugsy Malone, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, The Pirates of Penzance and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. He has also performed in several nationwide theatre tours of Jungle Book and the Wizard of Oz as well as professional pantomimes across the country. Returning to education at the age of 23 Darren obtained a BA Hons in Theatre and began to direct shows. His credits include: Godspell, The Wiz, Oliver, Our Day Out and many more. He has also directed two pieces for the National Theatre and produced theatre for Ophelia Circus Theatre Company, Abridge Theatre Company, 20Twenty Theatre Company, of which he was the founding member. As well as directing, Darren writes for the stage and has had 9 shows commissioned for companies and has his play, ?My Lot?published by AUK. More recently Darren was signed by HarperCollins to write three Psychological thrillers, his first ?Our Little Secret?was published in July 2017 and has achieved bestseller status in 5 countries and is being translated into Polish and Russian. HI second ?Close Your eyes?was published in May 2018 and has also achieved bestselling status in UK, Australia, America and Canada. He is looking forward to Starting the wizard of Oz. He cannot wait to work with such a talented cast.
Caz Dolby Caz is the founder of Wildcats, opening the school in 2008 after the success of the ?High School Musical?films created excitement in children to learn Musical Theatre. With a Masters Degree in Leadership and Management and a BA in Education, Caz has worked for a number of other organisation's including as a consultant for the national Creative Partnerships programme. Caz has worked in numerous schools and educational establishments delivering musical theatre projects. She has produced a number of musicals working with child casts including the prestigious West End Wildcats Troupe. Caz is looking forward to meeting all the cast at audition at working on The Wizard of Oz.

Teach in g Team Geor gia Bu r dock Georgia a former student now teacher at Wildcats Theatre School has been interested in the theatre from a young age, she has had many amazing opportunities including performing in the West End including Her Majesty's Theatre, Drury Lane and the Royal Albert Hall. She has also been in a number of shows including - Fame: Miss Belle, Hairspray: Ensemble, Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime, One Flew Over a Cuckoo's Nest: Miss Ratched, National Theatre Connections - Ceasefire Babies, The Wizard of Oz: Glinda/Aunt Em, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and many more. Georgia has also been an extra in a short film, Sweet Maddie Stone. She has completed all eight Musical Theatre LAMDA examinations and has completed various ballet exams. Georgia is very excited about being a part of the project and cannot wait to participate in creating a show she was once in.
Jessie Au ciello Having already started building a successful career on the West End stage, Jessie has been teaching musical theatre to classes whose ranges from 11-16 at the Stamford Youth Theatre. Jessie has extensive stage experience, both locally and nationally, appearing twice at Her Majesty?s Theatre, London (once singing solo at the age of 9!) and the Royal Albert Hall. Jessie has a grade 8 LAMDA qualification with Distinction in Musical Theatre and expects to get a distinction when she receives her grade 7 Acting results in the next few weeks. An enthusiastic communicator and passionate performer, Jessie looks forward to helping you achieve your theatrical ambitions!
