TOP OF UTAH’S ECONOMIC POWERHOUSE
Utah Transit Authority (UTA) provides bus routes throughout Weber County, including routes to some of the area’s major employment centers. Bus service is available to surrounding communities, including Brigham City and Salt Lake City. During the winter, UTA offers bus service to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain ski resorts. In downtown Ogden, UTA operates a free trolley service that transports visitors to popular shopping, dining and entertainment areas. The bus service ties into UTA’s commuter rail service, FrontRunner, at stations in both Ogden and Roy. FrontRunner connects Weber County to many other communities along the Wasatch Range, including Salt Lake City and Provo. Riders can easily transfer from FrontRunner to the TRAX light rail system in Salt Lake City and ride to communities throughout the Salt Lake Valley, the University of Utah and the Salt Lake City International Airport.
