Dress to CELEBRATE
Our goal is for our brides and guests to feel welcomed and excited to shop at Vow’d. We aim to be their #1 choice when it comes to making one of their most meaningful purchases. How we present ourselves will have a lasting impression of our bride's overall experience with us.
This means finding the right blend of polish and approachability when getting dressed. She is looking to you for style advice – Do you look the part?
Guidelines
Be close-up ready, maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance. Hair should be styled; Clothing and shoes should be clean and free of stains.
● No outside brand logo should be visible on any clothing or accessory.
● No bare midriffs and skirts/dresses should be BELOW FINGERTIPS OR LONGER.
● No sneakers, flip flops, casual sandals, or shoes that look significantly worn are allowed.
● No denim fabric bottoms of any color including black.
● No distressing on clothing.
● No T Shirts.
● No baseball caps or beanies.
● No leggings of any fabric, leather/cotton etc.
● Nails should be clean and well-groomed. Avoid excessively long nails or colors outside of the designated color palette (listed below).
● You may choose to wear Navy, Beige, Brown, Grey, or one of our designated colors (listed below).
● Avoid wearing all white (leave that to the bride) and all black (leave that to our competitors). You can mix black and white pieces with a Vow’d color or different neutral color. Example: Black skirt with a beige top. A white top with tan trousers.
Remember, you are a stylist. your outfit should be fun, celebratory, stylish, and elevated. it should not be casual or sloppy. Arriving at your shift inappropriately dressed or with an unacceptable appearance may result in disciplinary action. Partner with your Store Leader or District leader for any questions.
Color Palette
NAILS & CLOTHING
As a Vow’d team member, you should be easily recognizable from our external guests. By incorporating our Vow’d color palette, you will stand out from the crowd! Approved colors are: pinks, corals and reds.
Approved Neturals are: beige, tan, navy, grey, silver, gold, cream, white and black.
Do’s & Dont’s
Do wear a heel or dress shoe when styling trousers/pants.
Don’t style pants with a flat sandal.
Do style your hair daily as you would attending a wedding, bridal shower or other celebratory events.
Don’t come to work with messy hair.
Do wear elevated tops & bottoms.
Don’t wear t-shirt fabrics or bulky sweaters. Avoid bottoms resembling cargo, leggings, palazzo, or other casual styles.
