voice of the guest FITTING ROOM: The Fitting Room is the heart an soul of the entire experience. If you are blessed enough to get the Guest in the fitting room know that you have gained her trust. The Sanctuary is just that and should be treated as a safe-haven for all guests. They should always leave happier than they were when they came in. The self conscience girl that is looking for a dress or the new mom that is adjusting to her new body. This is your time to shine, to show her how beautiful she is and to make a guest for life. A few steps that you want to ensure that you nail are: 1. Was there a wait to try on your items? If yes, how long was the wait? 2. Did the associate: ask your name, provide their name, write your name on the door? 3. Was the fitting room: clean, free of loose clothing and hangers? 4. Did the fitting room associate check in and offer additional assistance? 5. Did the fitting room associate offer to bring you other complimentary items? (such as and not limited to; other sizes, styles, jewelry, shoes, accessories, etc.) Let’s read our most recent VOG shop and see how we did in the Fitting Room. What could we have done better? What would you have done differently? How did we make her feel? Now let’s practice, Your Leader will demonstrate the guest experience in the fitting room on the next few guests then let’s see how you can do. The rest of your shift will be spent in the Fitting Room, Your Leader will check on you regularly, please use the headset if you need assistance. We will regroup at the end to complete a quick survey to tell us all about the guest in the fitting room.
