voice of the guest SALES FLOOR: The Sales Floor is the time to continue the connection with the Guest. This is the time to keep the guest engaged, what does she see, what does she hear, what does she smell, how does she feel? Are you ensuring that all of these key points are making the impression of the Guest? You will come across many new faces and several loyal guests, YOU are the brand ambassadors that she will remember and speak to upon meeting others. Ensure that every encounter is genuine and sincere, do not let the stress of the day affect your tone or demeanor with out Guest. She had many other options to choose from and she chose you. A few steps that you want to ensure that you nail are: 1. How many associates were on the sales floor? 2. If there were other guests present in the store, were associates engaging with them? 3. When showing an interest in an item out of arm’s reach, did an associate offer to retrieve the desired item for you? 4. Did an associate: determine your shopping needs and offer to set up a fitting room? 5. Did an associate compliment the items you were interested in or personally engage you? 6. Was the store neat, clean and orderly? Partner with your Leader to read our most recent VOG shop and see how we did on the Sales Floor. What could we have done better? What would you have done differently? How did we make her feel? Now let’s practice, Your Leader will demonstrate the guest experience on the sales floor on the next few guests then let’s see how you can do. The rest of your shift will be spent on the sales floor, Your Leader will check on you regularly, please use the headset if you need assistance.
