CLIFFORD FRASER RISTEEN VANCOUVER 1893-1917 When he was at sac second lieutenant Clifford was a Prefect, and he came first in the 100 yard dash, he was a resident he did a 220 yard dash, he played rugby and track field. Clifford was at sac from 1909 to 1911 He was born in Vancouver British Columba has religion was Presbyterian. He had a brother George Risteen he went to the school just after Clifford left. His father was George Risteen and he worked on a railroad. Clifford was in the 45 squadron of the Royal Flying Corps

When he left SAC he went to McGill university from 1911 to 19 13 then after that he moved back to Vancouver to work for a law firm and in 1917 august he joined the Royal Flying Corps France 45 Squadron was formed at Gasport in March 1916 and was posted to France in October 1916. The unit was reassigned to Italy in November 1917 before returning to France in 1918.

Lieutenant Frederick Gooch attended St. Andrew’s College from 1905 to 1908. He was born in Toronto, Canada in January 4 of 1892. His religion was the “Church of England”. Some family details: Frederick was the son of Frederick H. and Augusta A. Gooch. Talking about athletics, he was player of four champion hockey teams. He was a clerk when he enlisted on December 23 of 1915, at the Toronto Exhibition Camp into the 9th Battery of the Canadian Field Artillery. After that, he was transferred into the 54th Battery where he was serving in the 2nd Brigade. On August 23 of 1915, at the Canadian Field Artillery, he was killed in action at the age of 25 by an unknown cause while serving as a Brigade Forward Observation Office (FOO).
ABOUT HIM -Patrick Douglas McLure MacLagan was born on 1890 March 17th in Victoria, Canada, and died in action on 1915 October 15th. -Patrick Douglas McLure MacLagan attended SAC for 2 years, from 1905~1907, before leaving to a different school. -He was a normal student that only did the mandatory sports, but loved to study.(Boxing e.g.) SERVICE DAYS -He was part of the 4th battalion. -He joined the army on April 19th -He was respected by higher ranked officers. -Patrick McLagan died in action on 1915 October 15th at the age of 25, when he was shot by by an enemy gun to the chest. He struggled to stay alive and eventually eventually bled to death.
