LOCH NESS MONSTER - 2016 SHELBY GT350

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

This baby is an 2016 Avalanche Gray with Deep impact Blue stripes GT350 with the technology package. I purchased the car brand new from Rich Ford in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I drive a semi for a living and I was on my way to California when a picture of this exact car popped up on my Facebook feed. Back then these cars were very hard to come by and not many of them were out yet so I had to stop in to take a peek. Once I laid my eyes on it, I knew I had to have it. I ended up loading it onto my semi trailer and I hauled it all the way back home to Minnesota. I have always been a Mustang fan since I was just a little kid thanks to my Dad. He was a big time drag racer and Ford fan who still owns his 1969 428 SCJ R code that he purchased when he was 18 years old so needless to say, I was hooked. I bought my first one at the age of 17 which was a 1995 GT. I did a lot of mods to it over the years and finally ended up doing a full Terminator swap. I’ve bought and sold multiple Foxbodies over the years and would like to pick up another one soon as well as quite a few others... It’s an addiction.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

MGW short throw shifter, QA1 carbon fiber drive shaft, Steeda clutch spring, JLT CAI, B-Line cat deletes, Corsa double H pipe, UPR catch cans, Lund Racing MultiTune 93/E85R/launch control/Ghost Cam (selectable through steering wheel controls), Lund Ngauge, GT350R front splitter, ZL1 Addons GT500 style winglets, GT350 (Track pack) spoiler, Verus Engineering rear diffuser, Trackspec Center hood vent painted to match the wheels and spoiler, AeroCatch hood pins painted to match wheels and spoiler, Redline hood struts, and much more.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!
