Hot spots BIKE KM0,2 : stay on the left side of the road until the Kitchener Bridge (road closed to traffic) KM3,5 : Be careful! Stay on the right side of the road in the aquarium crossroad KM6 : Narrow and winding descent KM14 : roundabout in both direction of movement (beginning and end of the course), respect the highway code KM18 : Messimy village, right turn with low visibility
Hot spots BIKE KM23-28 : winding and technical descent of de St Laurent de Vaux KM35 : roundabout in both directions of movement (beginning and end of the course), turn left by going aroun the roundabout KM45 : go on the left side of the road just before the La Mulatière crossroad KM48 : keep your right for crossing the Kitchener bridge

ECOZONES Throw your bottles and packaging away only in the ECOZONES at the beginning and the end of each Energy Station Otherwise you‘ll be disqualified
Transition 2 Bike Run Dismount your bike before entering the Bike Park Push your bike to the volunteer waiting for you in front of an empty rack – he will rack it for you in order of arrival Pickup your RUN bag, change in the tent Put your Bike gear in the RUN bag and DROPOFF your bag when leaving the tent Start the Run
Run 5km 2 loops 1 Energy Station passed twice Take a Wristband at the end of the first loop
You RUN bag is not there? If your bag is not on the rack you received a penalty during the BIKE Go to the PRISON and wait for the end of your penalty (the penalty will start once you stop arguing with the marshalls) The prison is located behind the transition tent After the penalty: take your run bag & start the run race!

Chips information Taking special care of your chip, is essential for your race !
How to get the chip? What is its function? Before/After the race The chip will be given to you upon check-in, only when leaving your bike The bike will be returned upon check-out, only in exchange of the chip
During the race No chip, no timing! Lost Chip = risk of disqualification If it is lost during the race, ask for another in the transition area (near the Penalty Box) * For a lost chip 40€ will be charged
Rules & Regulations For a safe & Fair race
General Rules It is forbidden to: Cut or fold your start number Get help from third parties Get race provisions outside of the official Energy Stations
SWIM Rules ď‚ŤIt is mandatory to swim without your race number ď‚ŤThe wet items must be taken to the transition area
BIKE rules Drafting is forbidden The helmet must be worn at all times with the chinstrap closed The race number must be visibly worn on your lower back Respect the rules of the road Keep on the left and Do not cut corners Escorting (car, motobike, bike, ...) and assistance is forbidden
No Drafting The distance between two athletes (Drafting zone) is 3x7m (front tyre to back tyre) If you enter in this zone, you will receive a black card You have to stop in prison during the run course A referees decision shall be final

RUN rules Wear the race number visibly on your front If you use a start number belt, wear it on your waistline You must not run topless Escorting (bike, roller, runner, ...) and assistance is forbidden
What if... Questions and Answers
If... You lose your timing chip, get a new one at the penalty tent in the transition area You have to give up, let a refereee know you give up. Your family might ask us at the Info point – you are obliged to tell us what happened Also
let us know if you return to the race area or if you‘ll be back at your hotel
