Task description: During Week 10 of term 1, students will complete a written examination (75 minute) which will account for some 15% of their theory mark in this course. The exam will consist of multiple choice and short answer questions The task will focus on the following chapters of the text: • Chapter 1 • Chapter 2 (some elements) • Chapter 3 More specifically students will be tested on their knowledge of: • Characteristics and examples of communications systems • Transmitting and receiving • Characteristics and examples of decision support systems • Tools related to information systems (analysing, organising, processing etc) • Issues related to information systems and communication systems • Information systems – organisation, storage retrieval Type of Task: In-class test/task, including practical tests Method of Submission: Canvas
