Pantone The Brief Pantone are coming up to their 50th anniversary of Inspirational colours, they would like to use this landmark event to help create an inspirational campaign about its colour range. In turn Pantone has expanded its colour matching system concept to other colour-critical industries, including digital technology, fashion, home, plastics, architecture and contract interiors, and paint. Pantone would like you to produce a new campaign that helps create awareness of new colours and ranges that they have produced. The campaign should generate awareness and excitement around the brand aimed at creative professionals. Concept/Proposition Love colour; help create awareness of Pantone and their 560 new colours, including a celebration of Pantones 50th Anniversary. Giving creative professionals inspiration to produce creative, exciting and colourful outcomes. Background For nearly 50 years, Pantone has been inspiring design professionals with products, services and leading technology for the colourful exploration and expression of creativity. In 1963, Lawrence Herbert, Pantone's founder, created an innovative system for identifying, matching and communicating colours to solve the problems associated with producing accurate colour matches in the graphic arts community. Considerations -
Consider your target audience and their interests Using Pantones visual brand image Context of the promotional items. Expansion and creativity of the brief would be beneficial. Look at digital aspects that could be incorporated Consider the choice of material or stock used. Consider method of production i.e. Screen printing, digital print etc. Consider the most effective distribution method.

Mandatory Requirements
The targets audience is 18-40 year olds who work in the creative industry.
Your must produce 5 design boards showing your final outcomes. These will include: - Printed and produced designs - Use Pantone colours for the final outcomes - Include Pantone logo - Mock-ups of how the items shall be presented. - Place final outcomes in context - 250 word rational. - Evaluation of work in relation to the brief. - Correct Labelling of your work, on your blog is essential. - In addition to the submission requirements, you will need to evidence the research, development and product of your final resolutions.

Deliverables
You should aim to be professional and informative, while creating excitement about the brand. Use of imagery and colour should help to show emotion and excitement while supporting other design elements.
Resolutions and products, apporiate to your select brief. 5 presentation boards (Printed) summerising the key practical, conceptual and technical decisions. This should also be posted on your blog via Issuu.
