Affluent, but suppressed because her fatheris deeply, fanatically religios. Kambili and her brother go to visit their Auntie Ifeoma and then see a different life, Auntie Ifeoma and her family are very poor, but rich in ways of happiness and freedom. This book is a tragic story, but also offers a great insight of Nigeria.
