Sunday 13th September Union Welcome – Meet the Sabbaticals! Join your Sabbaticals in Venue and get to know the Officers that will be running your Union this year – this is your chance to ask them about sports clubs, societies, volunteering, your course and so much more! 12noon onwards, Venue Freshers Bags 2015 Everybody wants one! They are the must have item for Freshers Week 2015 – rammed with freebies (did someone say Pot Noodle?!), student discounts and even a handy Union Wallplanner, you’ll want to grab one before they’re all gone. Pop along to the Union welcome sessions as mentioned above to get yours! 12noon onwards, Venue Grab your tickets before they’re gone! Missed out on the first night of Freshers?! Don’t make the same mistake again – head down to the Atrium to snap up those last remaining tickets for Freshers events – you only get one Freshers Week! 10am until 5pm, Atrium Need anything for your room/kitchen/flat? Tuesday 15th September Clubs & Socs Fayre Featuring all the Club & Socs joining info you will ever need! Pop into the environmental hub for a browse through the Fair Share and you might just find that pan/cup/textbook you need. Open all week. 11am until 4pm, The Green + Blue Space International Students Welcome Event Following the welcome event held by the University in the Macrobert, International Students are invited to a welcome event in the Union – with some drinks, snacks and a chance to meet your Officer team, it’s a great way to find out what the Union offers for International students ahead of the Ceilidh later tonight! 7pm until 8pm, The Union Champions League The intro music alone sends shivers down the spine! Don’t miss any of the action as the best teams in Europe clash for Champions League glory. 7.45pm, Studio Karaoke Introducing Studio’s weekly Karaoke session – check it out! Wednesday 16th September Freshers Sports Bazaar Head to the Sports Centre to visit over 40 Sports clubs and find out what’s on offer and how you can take part! It’s also where you can get more details on memberships for the year and find out about upcoming Give It A Go sessions. 10am until 4pm, Sports Centre Student Life Day Your Students’ Union is here to ‘Make Students’ Lives Better’. Come along to the Atrium to find out more about what the Union offers, how to get involved and discover more about Stirling (where to go and what to do) or just how to make the best of your time here as a student. Your friendly Union Officers and staff will be there, along with many University services, with fun, games and prizes! Thursday 17th September Get to Know Your Union Representation is at the heart of what the Union does. You’ll quickly discover that the Union is your campus home – why not spend some time enjoying a tasty Stone Willy’s Pizza from Studio and kicking back to the latest chart videos in HD?! from 12noon, Studio Europa League The football action moves to the Europa League tonight as some of Europe’s top clubs continue their quest for glory. 5pm onwards, Studio Open Mic Night launch Join your Open Mic host, Richard, as we celebrate the best in student music – come along, have a listen or take part – it’s all about you. Enjoy in Studio for this opening week (and next) before their grand opening in Venue in a few weeks time! 9pm until 1am, Studio *Free* Vengaboys LIVE!
