Living Our Faith

If we met Jesus face to face today, would he say, “Yes, I know you, you are mine?” In today’s gospel, Jesus tells us that he will always be there for us, no matter what. He is always calling out to us and inviting us to stay close to him. We are to hear his voice when he calls to us. We are to open ourselves to him so that he knows us. And we are to follow him. Jesus loves us forever and he will never let us go. Yet, in today’s society, hearing, knowing and following Jesus can be hard to put into practice. It’s easy to let the demands of our lives reduce the time we spend with God each day. But if we remember to keep him at the top of our list and offer gratitude for even the smallest of blessings, we can be sure that he will know us and call us his own. As we continue on our Easter journey--remembering Jesus’ great gift of laying down his life so that we may be with him forever—why not take a little extra time each day to stay as close as we can to him? Viviendo Nuestra Fe
