Living Our Faith
Often times, we can view the apostles as being much stronger and wiser than we are. However, that isn’t the case. They differentiated themselves because they said ‘yes’ to Jesus. But even then, even in his presence, they still doubted and worried... much like each of us can do from time to time. It can be hard to stay the course in a world that often fights against us. However, just as Jesus continued to have strong faith in the apostles, even when they had little faith in him, he has strong faith in each and every one of us regardless of the mistakes we make. He simply asks us if we are willing to say ‘yes’. And if we are, we have him, God the Father and the Holy Spirit on our side to help do his work to make disciples of all nations. This does not mean we go door-to-door asking people if they know Jesus. All of us are called, however, to show Jesus to others through our actions. St. Francis of Assisi told his followers, “Go and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and, if necessary, use words.” With Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit, our lives are the best examples of God’s love and his forgiving mercy.
Viviendo Nuestra Fe
WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADVERTISE IN OUR BULLETIN? With the year winding down, our Pre-K through 1st grade is taking liberties with some fun and creative ideas. As part of creative time during class, students decorated life-size box cars. As an additional part of the fun, students watched the movie "Cars" in Wozniak Hall for an old fashioned drive-in movie. They shared popcorn and snacks with their friends across grades and had a great afternoon. Blessings, Ms. Tamara Luera Director of Advancement
