Abstract In this paper, a novel structure of wearable antenna using clothing materials, suitable for wearable application has been presented. The substrate of the designed antenna was made of textile material, while radiating element and ground plane are made out of copper tape. To design a novel wearable flexible antenna which has high gain, efficiency, good return loss. Improvement in the design is done by increasing the electrical length and area without increasing the size of the antenna. The simulations were carried out using CST Microwave Studio software and the comparison of measured and simulated results of proposed antenna have been studied. Measured and simulated results are in excellent agreement.

Triple Band PIFA Antenna Using The DGS Method Atul Nogia*, P. K. Singhal Department of Electronics Engineering, Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior, M.P., India Abstract In this paper, a new design of a triple band Planner Inverted –F Antenna (PIFA) with DGS, for mobile and wireless communication systems is presented. The PIFA antenna consists of ground plate, patch antenna, feeding port and shorting plate connected to the ground plate. The designed antenna has been simulated with the help of the CST (computer Simulation Technology) software microwave studio 2010. The simulated results calculated for the resonant frequency, directivity, return loss, radiation pattern and gain are obtainable and discussed.

Rectangular Patch Monopole Antenna with Different Shaped Multiple Slots for Triple Band Frequency Applications Umang Supekar*, P.K. Singhal Department of Electronics, Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, Gwalior, India Abstract In this paper a rectangular patch microstrip antenna with different shaped multiple slots behaves as a triple band monopole antenna. It is designed for 0.96031–1.0464, 1.3766– 1.5797 and 2.1629–2.3708 GHz frequency bands. A rectangular patch monopole antenna with multiple slots, i.e., hexagonal slot and rectangular slot is fabricated on the glass epoxy (FR4 lossy) of dielectric substrate with relative permittivity (εr) of 4.4, thickness of 1.6 mm, loss tangent of 0.02 with a ground plane, fed with a 50Ω rectangular micro strip feed line. In these antenna three different bands with three return losses measured below –20 dB in which one is below –50 dB within its impedance bandwidth along with omnidirectional radiation pattern. The novelty of this antenna is that no other antenna gives triple bands with minimum return losses in just 0–3 GHz band spectrum. This prototype antenna having an omnidirectional radiation pattern is measured for frequency range of 0–3 GHz. The measured reflection coefficients are far below of –10 dB. The simulated result and experimental results are analyzed and verified after comparison.
