An Application Development on Video as a Service in Cloud Computing Amruta Balapure, Rupali Patil, Anuja Zade, Janhavi Patil, Siddhant Tanpure*

JSPM’s RSCOE, Pune, India Abstract The recent trend is found to be the increased use of visual media such as featured films, TV programs and home videos over the Internet. Hence, Video as a Service (VaaS) in cloud computing is gaining momentum. Success of any application in VaaS depends on storage, streaming and security. This paper presents an application based on VaaS, which allows users to upload video data on cloud, share videos with others and also watch videos shared by other people securely.

Visual Duplicates in Video using Content based Analysis Neha Bhalerao*, Kavita Pandey, Prachi Shinde, Ashwini Magar JSPM’s RSCOE, Pune, India

Abstract This paper proposes a technique to detect visual duplicates in video using content-based analysis for analyzing duplicate videos in the database. Content-based analysis refers to analysis of digital media on the basis of features extracted from its contents. The proposed algorithm uses key frames, extracts spatial features and stores them in their respective feature vector. Feature vector stores the features extracted from key frame in numerical form. It then compares feature vectors from the database to that of the query video and displays whether the query video is duplicated or not. The authors have analyzed only a set of key frames instead of an entire video frame. Thus, it is memoryefficient to detect duplicated video when we handle a vast size of the videos.

Authenticity by using Digital Certificate and Secure Communication through Key Agreement Protocol Mamatha Vayelapelli*, P.S. Avadhani Department of CS & SE, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, India Abstract An essential component of Internet security is based on public key cryptography, the twopart encryption scheme where one part of the key is held privately and the other is made public. This technology has given rise to a small but growing industry that provides Certificate Authority services (CA). These companies verify that a server computers public key is valid and combine it with their own public key to create a unique Digital Certificate. A digital certificate is simply an electronic “statement”, signed by an independent and trusted third party, in a format that is standardized so that its contents can be decoded by a client programs such as Web browsers. The most common digital certificates on the Internet follow a standard named X.509.The technical and documentary relationships for certifying the authenticity of the public keys of server(and client) computers on the Internet is referred to collectively as public key infrastructure(or PKI).It is a secure system that is used to manage and control certificates . Digital signatures can be used to protect the authenticity and integrity of data objects. Key agreement is achieved by using secret key cryptography. If two or more entities want to employ and want to make use of secret key cryptography, then they must share a secret parameter or cryptographic key. Consequently, in a large system many secret keys must typically be generated, stored and managed, destroyed in a secure way. Key agreement protocols are proposed in this paper basing on the concept of digital signature. Discrete logarithm (DL) based protocol is analyzed in detail further.

Peer to Peer Privacy Preserving Authenticated Key-exchange L. Alekhya, P.S. Avadhani* Department of Computer Science & Systems Engineering, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, India Abstract In particular Key-exchange algorithm Diffie-Hellman key exchange (DHKE), is one of the most commonly used cryptographic mechanisms for providing network security. In order to secure Peer to Peer communication here we use a set of protocols password based authenticated key exchange using verifiers to reduce vulnerabilities. Like any other form of software, P2P applications can contain vulnerabilities. What makes this particularly dangerous for P2P software, however, is that peer-to-peer applications act as servers as well as clients, meaning that they can be more vulnerable to remote exploits.
