Advances in E-Technologies with ICT-based Innovation and Simulation Priyanka Sethi Associate Professor, Dept of Information Technology, SGTBIMIT, GT Karnal Road, Delhi

Abstract Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has led to digital transformation of education, health and development- enabling an escape from the monolithic system.ICT plays a crucial role in revolutionizing the lives of people leading to socio-economic development of the nation. The use of internet in conjunction with electronics has paved the path to universal interconnectedness. The access to technology is driving the masses to new networks with real-time interaction, collaboration and innovation. This paper presents a case study of the application of Electronics (E) as employed in 4 Es viz: EHealth, E-learning, E-government, E-education in capsule form. All these domains are inter-connected.

Keywords: Information and Communication Technology, Digital, Internet, Real-time, E-technology, E-learning, E-government, E-education.

Design and Performance Analysis of a Compact Ultra-wide Band Textile Antenna on Jeans Material and Bending Consequences Hasan Shehab S.*, Hassan S., Arifin F. Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), Banani, Dhaka-1213, Bangladesh Abstract This paper presents a novel design of a compact Ultra-wide band textile antenna which operates from the frequency range of 2.8–14 GHz, covering the entire ultra-wide band frequency range of 3.1–10.6 GHz, as approved by FCC. Hybrid design technique is applied to a simplified circular patch design and finally an octagonal shape is achieved that exhibits ultra-wide band characteristics. The substrate of the designed antenna is made of jeans fabric (ɛr = 1.7) while patch and the ground plane is made of copper tape. The dimension of the substrate is 42 × 34 mm2. A partial ground plane with a square notch is placed at the back of the substrate. This antenna performance is also analyzed at six different bending angles. The characteristics, low profile, and compact size of the proposed antenna depicts as a potential candidate for ultra-wide band applications. The antenna design details and simulated results are presented by CST Microwave Studio.

Study of Spectrum Sensing Techniques for OFDM-based Cognitive Radio Monika Tripathi* Department of Electronics, Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior, India Abstract Nowadays OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) techniques are adopted by many existing or progressing wireless communication standards. OFDM’s sensing and spectrum shaping capabilities together with its flexibility and adaptivity make it the best transmission technology for CR system. Spectrum sensing helps to detect the spectrum holes (unutilized bands of the spectrum) providing high spectral resolution capability. Thus, a robust spectrum sensing algorithm for OFDM modulated signals is highly decide to implement CR when the primary signal uses OFDM modulation. Motivated by this demand, a Time-Domain Symbol Cross-correlation based spectrum sensing algorithm (TDSC method) is presented in this paper. The algorithm makes use of the property that the mean of the TDSC of two OFDM symbols is not zero if they have embedded the same frequency-domain pilot tones. We propose a new decision statistic for the signal detection based on the special feature –Cyclic Prefix embedded in OFDM signal. Further, in this paper we used to control the Transmit Power for cognitive radio. Different spectrum sensing techniques for OFDM based cognitive radio are discussed in this paper.

Abstract The need of Modern wireless communication is achieving high data transmission rate and its robustness against multipath fading and good spectral efficiency MIMO-OFDM system is popular because it provides reliable communication and wide coverage. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing is a multicarrier modulation technique which is prime choice for high data rate application. To improve performance of OFDM we use various techniques such as channel estimation, signal detection, frequency offset estimation and correction, PAPR reduction (Peak-To-Average-Power-Ratio), Bit Error Rate Reduction using equalization technique and MIMO techniques. MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) wireless communications systems employ multiple transmit and receiving antennas for the improvement in channel capacity. This paper describes the basic introduction of OFDM, MIMO-OFDM system and explains the different channel estimation, optimization techniques and their utilization in communication systems.
