Abstract Follicular lymphoma usually involves lymph nodes, but can involve extra nodal sites. Oral lymphomas are relatively rare and often difficult to diagnose in a clinical setting. A case of non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) of the hard palate that had undergone external beam radiation therapy and was found to be well one year following treatment is observed.

Pre-peritoneal Mesh Repair of Spontaneous Superior Lumbar Hernia: A Case Report Harsh B. Thanky*, Bankimchandra M. Thanky Thanky Hospital, Rajkot, India

Abstract The lumbar hernias are rare variety of hernia. They arise more commonly from superior lumbar triangle than inferior lumbar triangle. It can be readily misdiagnosed as one of the commoner diseases like lipoma. Its diagnosis requires high clinical suspicion and can be confirmed by imaging. The treatment is elective surgery with meshplasty. Here we present a case of spontaneous superior lumbar hernia treated with preperitoneal polypropylene meshplasty at our hospital. The patient is on follow-up with no evidence of recurrence.

Keywords: lumbar hernia, preperitoneal repair, meshplasty, polypropylene mesh

Secondary Infertility due to Retention of Foetal Bones: A Rare Occurrence: A Case Report Priti Anand*, Mukul Bindra, Sadhna Mathur, Ravi Mathur NIMS Medical College & Hospital, Shobha Nagar, Jaipur-Delhi Highway (NH-11C), Jaipur – 303121, Rajasthan, India Abstract In this paper we present a case of unwanted contraception through prolonged retention of foetal bone—a rare cause of secondary infertility. We describe a case of intrauterine retention of foetal bone diagnosed three years after the termination of a pregnancy. A hysteroscopy was performed and irregular structures were removed. These fragments were foetal bones, which probably functioned as an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD). After removal of the foetal bone fragments, the patient conceived spontaneously. This case report stresses the importance of taking a thorough history and evaluation of the endometrium by transvaginal ultrasound (USG) or hysteroscopy in women with secondary infertility.

Keywords: foetal bones, retention, infertility, hysteroscopy, IUCD
