Pink Friday or for the Bowls Club – Pink Saturday.

We would like to say a big thank you to all members and friends who gave cakes, served the customers in the cold on our cake stall 16th October outside 27 Regent Street. A cheque for £300.00 to Breast Cancer Research is on its way. Many thanks to all our customers old and new who helped us raise such a fantastic amount.
Sadly, our usual pink Friday Coffee Morning at the club has had to be put on hold whist the Covid infection is still with us, but the cake stall is proving to be just as popular and profitable. We are still able to raise money, who knows what 2022 will bring, but we promise that there will still be a Bowls Club stall with cakes for sale indoors or out, whichever is viable!
Bowls news Once more the season has come to an end, this one being better than 2020. We have met up, and played competitive and friendly matches and it has been good to get back to something like normal for both our physical and mental wellbeing. We can only look forward to 2022 with optimism.
Just a reminder that the AGM will be held on Sunday 28th November 2021 at 10am in the clubhouse,(subject to any government regulations re Covid) and a gentle ‘nudge’ that ticket stubs and donations of prizes for raffle on 10th December will be most welcome. Keep safe and well through the winter. Mollie Jennings - On behalf of the Stotfold Bowls Committee
The cake sale back in October was a huge success!
