Dear FCYC Member...
The St. Petersburg Yacht Club is very pleased to welcome you to the General Meeting of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs to be held January 10-12, 2025. Our Club is in the heart of a vibrant downtown St. Petersburg, and we are looking forward to your visit.
Registration begins Friday afternoon from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in our Front Lobby. The Heritage Lounge or Grille 1909 will be available to dine in that evening, or you can make a reservation to attend a special Club event we will be hosting, sure to be very lively and entertaining: Japanese Taiko Drumming Show & Asian Themed Buffet beginning at 6:30 pm.
OnSaturday morning, come early to enjoy a delicious Breakfast Buffet, available from 8:30 - 10:45 am. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore on your own or choose to attend a one-of-a-kind Dolphin Cruise Tour exploring Tampa Bay from 9:30 - 11:00 am. A few options if you decide to venture out on your own, which are all within walking distance, include:
• Salvador Dali Museum
• St. Petersburg Historical Museum
• St. Petersburg Fine Arts Museum
• St. Petersburg Pier
• Plus many other unique places of interest
» An Italian themed Lunch Buffet will be served back at the Clubhouse from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
» The FCYC Director’s Meeting will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday
» The General Meeting will commence at 3:00 pm that afternoon, and ending at 4:15 pm
» Finish the day off by joining us for a memorable “Dinner & Dance” beginning at 6:00 pm, where we will be serving an elegant plated three-course meal, with LIVE entertainment and dancing the night away.
We do ask that our guests observe the following dress code:
• Men: Golf shirts, collared or mocked turtleneck shirts, shorts, slacks, and denim are permitted for the Friday evening and daytime events. On Saturday evening we ask that you wear dress slacks and a collared or dress shirt. Men are not permitted to wear hats in the Clubhouse.
• Women: Short and long-sleeved shirts with collars and shorts, skirts, denim and dresses are appropriate for the casual events. Upscaled attire is suggested for Saturday evening. (Frayed, patched or torn denim is not permitted)
