Rembrandt section Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (15 July 1606 – 4 October 1669) was a Dutch draughtsman, painter, and printmaker. Joseph Virgone Joseph Virgone paints “Furies”. “Fury” that is personified in a face, in a glance, in a grimace. Expressive. Rhythmic and intense iter of a devastating feeling and numbing. The magnetic gaze fascinates, terrifies and blocks the attention of the beholder. Perhaps you can imagine the silhouette of a red-fire horse galloping, which seems to come out just now from the un- derworld, the man moved from within by destructive intent, often for vengeance. An Anabasis rich in literary references and mythical. Splashes of color and lines, bright flashes of dark humor, evoking the powerful effect of anger, which leaves behind... heads, pain, smoke and turmoil. Could be anger creative (as Heraclitus said, “War is father of everything”)? The answer is in the twists and turns of philosophical reflection.
