1999, we set sail. The history of Magic Yachts put out to sea, towards a specific horizon: to be a top brand in the shipbuilding sector, particularly yacht manufacturing. Such history is marked by a series of fundamental moorings. Founded by the Wally group, the company has focused on its mission since the very beginning: to build sailing

yachts and motor yachts of a high performance and with a superior degree of finishing and innovative solutions. In 2007 Magic Yachts joined an elite group including Camuzzi Nautica, Cantieri Navali Baglietto, and Cantieri di Pisa. This synergy allowed it to take a crucial step forward in terms of expertise-building. In 2010 our shipyard opened its doors to industrial and military watercraft refitting, becoming the main point of reference for the sector in Northern Africa and the Middle East. In 2012 Magic Yachts was purchased by a consortium of Italian entrepreneurs, who confirmed Francesco Campana as the helmsman of the company, which he had been CEO of since 2004. A new phase in the history of the brand had begun: a targeted investment and market agreement strategy supported a preponderant growth in terms of high-class innovation skills and solutions. This process continued to this day, with the same power and determination. Always following the same compass: the excellence of Magic Yachts.

One more reason to chose Magic Yachts In the scope of a global shipbuilding service, Magic Yachts has chosen to add yacht and industrial ship refitting to its production activity. Ultimate-generation launch, shipway, and moving systems, along with our 35x12 m (about 115x39 ft.) marina, allow us to handle watercraft weighing up to 260 metric tons. The construction process carried out in a Free Economic Zone allows us to offer imported services and products with zero tax or commission.

Technical setup Magic Yachts directly manages mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic operations. Every building phase from reparation to replacement is carried out in-house, thanks to the availability of a complete technical setup. Operations include the installation of canting keels and magic trims, hydraulic gangways and electro-hydraulic stairways. The technical support is complemented by a handicraft skillset and expertise: thanks to our specialized manpower, we are able to manufacture steel and aluminum parts, including engine stands, bulkhead pass-throughs, taffrails, pulpits, bitts, and more.
15
Fairing and varnishing The shipyard boasts top-notch bodywork (using epoxy primer) and varnishing. The varnishing cycle – mainly using Awlgrig/ Alexseal – may be customized by the client. Success of the operation is 100% guaranteed, with a highly competitive quality-price ratio.
Carpentry and teak All our products are made of teak assembled using vacuum bag lamination and top quality materials.
17 17
Interiors Magic Yachts independently carries out the manufacture of customized luxury interiors or the modification of pre-existing structures through refit.

An experience, our culture
From the technical approach to design and development, to the utmost care in finishing: every aspect is addressed accurately at our shipyard and bears the exclusive signature of the Magic Yachts handicraft. A philosophy and work organization that is not simply limited to a series of operations, but expresses our “advanced composite culture”.
Models and molds
Molds are based upon the wooden models that are added the bodywork and polished. Every model strictly corresponds to the 3D model provided by the designer: when it is completed with a ‘0’ fault coefficient in terms of geometry and look, we move on to the lamination of the definitive mold. Moreover, depending on the different transformation technologies, we design and use prepreg, vacuum infusion, and wet lay-up processes. The operation is carried out fully by Magic Yachts manpower.
25
This technology is specific to watercraft requiring a high stiffness and maximum lightness. Magic Yachts stands out in the sector for its in-house development of such technology, for which it uses a series of state-of-the-art devices. The latter

Furthermore, the high-performance technology is complemented by a high degree of workforce specialization: the perfect mix to guarantee carbon fiber hulls and other elements of a unique quality.

to a supporting fabric to form a laminate. The lamination process is always used for eventual gluing of the sandwich foam. The molds – usually made of resin – are suitably pre-treated with a varnish that keeps the base separate from the material subsequently added. There is one more essential aspect to underline: at Magic Yachts we do not utilize fiber/epoxy guns; every one of our products is laminated using fabric.
